Claims (7)
- 複数の指向性アンテナを備えたアレイアンテナを有する少なくとも1つの基地局と、複数の移動局とを含むセルラー通信システムにおいて情報を放送する方法であって、
前記指向性アンテナと等しい数の複数の並列な経路に対して放送するために前記情報を分割するステップと、
複数の直交信号をつくり出すために前記基地局により周波数変移を利用して前記複数の並列な経路に対して前処理するステップと、
前記基地局により、前記複数の指向性アンテナの各々で狭角度のビームを形成するために前記複数の直交信号をビーム形成するステップと、
前記基地局により、異なる複数の狭角度のビームで送られる複数の信号が所定の移動局に対して異なる時点で到着するように、複数の前記狭角度のビームが含む前記複数の直交信号を送信するステップと、
前記所定の移動局により、前記複数の直交信号が受信されるステップと、
符号間干渉に対して受信した前記複数の直交信号を訂正するために等化器を使用することと同じようにして前記所定の移動局で等化器を使用して、到着した前記情報を解読するため、前記所定の移動局の等化器によって、前記受信した複数の直交信号を処理するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする、情報放送方法。 - 複数の移動局に対して情報を配信するセルラー通信システムであって、
少なくとも1の基地局と、
少なくとも1の移動局と、
を含み、
前記基地局は、
複数の指向性アンテナを有するアレイアンテナと、
前記指向性アンテナと等しい数の複数の並列な経路に対して放送するために前記情報を分割する手段と、
複数の直交信号を発生させるために、周波数変移を利用して前記複数の並列な経路に対して前処理する手段と、
前記複数の指向性アンテナの各々から狭角度のビームを形成するために、前記複数の直交信号をビーム形成するビーム形成手段と、
異なる複数の狭角度のビームで送られる複数の信号が所定の移動局に対して異なる時点で到着するようにして、前記複数の狭角度のビームにより前記複数の直交信号が送られるように、前記アレイアンテナを利用して前記直交信号を送信する送信手段と、
を含み、
前記所定の移動局は、
前記複数の直交信号を受信する受信手段と、
符号間干渉に対して受信した前記複数の直交信号を訂正するために等化器を使用することと同じようにして前記所定の移動局で等化器を使用して、到着した前記情報を解読するため、前記所定の移動局の等化器によって、前記受信した複数の直交信号を処理する処理手段と、
を含むことを特徴とする、セルラー通信システム。 - 複数の移動局に信号を送信し、かつ前記複数の移動局から信号を受信するセルラー通信システムで使用するための基地局であって、
情報を処理する複数のトランシーバーと、
複数の信号を受信する受信アンテナ装置と、
疑似全方位アンテナパターンで信号を送信する複数の能動セクタアンテナにより構成され、各セクタアンテナがセクタの中心部で、そのセクタの端部よりも大きなアンテナ利得を供給する送信アンテナ装置と、
前記複数のトランシーバーと前記受信および送信アンテナ装置とを結合する結合手段と、
前記受信アンテナ装置から受信した複数の信号をダイバーシティ結合する手段と、
アンテナパターンにナルが発生することを防止するため、前記移動局に送信する複数の信号を直交化する周波数変移手段と、
を含み、
前記複数のトランシーバーは、異なるセクタアンテナパターンで送られる複数の信号が所定の移動局で異なる時間に到達するように、前記セクタアンテナパターンで前記複数の信号を送信することを特徴とする、基地局。 - 請求項3記載の基地局において、前記周波数変移手段は、わずかに異なる搬送周波数で並列信号を変調することにより、前記移動局に送信される前記信号を直交化することを特徴とする、基地局。
- 請求項3記載の基地局において、前記受信アンテナ装置は、
支柱の周囲に取り付けられた4つの2重偏波セクタアンテナから構成されることを特徴とする、基地局。 - 請求項5記載の基地局において、前記2重偏波アンテナ装置は、支柱の周囲で等しい間隔がとられていることを特徴とする、基地局。
- 請求項3記載の基地局において、前記送信アンテナ装置は、4つの能動セクタアンテナを含むことを特徴とする、基地局。
