Description
本発明を適用する焼尽性容器の容器本体と上蓋とに含まれる繊維、本発明適用外の焼尽性容器に含まれる繊維の引っ張り強度及び破断強度を評価した。
アバカの茎を叩解して平均繊維長3〜12mmとした繊維の30重量部とニトロセルロースの70重量部とを水に分散させたスラリーを吸引抄造した後、圧搾乾燥させて密度が約0.60g/cm3のディスク状試験片A1を二つ得た。また、密度が約0.70,0.80及び0.90g/cm3のディスク状試験片A2〜A4を夫々二つずつ得た。
針葉樹の未晒し品の木質部を叩解して平均繊維長2〜4.5mmとした繊維を用いたこと以外は、試験片Aの作製と同様にして、ディスク状試験片B1〜B4を夫々二つずつ得た。
針葉樹の晒し品の木質部を叩解して平均繊維長2〜4.5mmとした木材繊維を用いたこと以外は、試験片Aの作製と同様にして、ディスク状の対照試験片D1〜D4を夫々二つずつ得た。
JIS K6251に準じ、作製した試験片A1〜A4、B1〜B4、対照試験片D1〜D4をダンベル片に切り出し、引張強度試験を行った。
アバカの茎を叩解して平均繊維長3〜12mmとした繊維の30重量部とニトロセルロースの60重量部とスチレン-ブタジエン共重合体の10重量部とを主成分とする焼尽性材料を水中に分散、混合したスラリーを吸引抄造した後、圧搾乾燥させて密度が約0.88及び0.98g/cm3の試験片C1〜C2を作製した。一方、対照試験片Dの作製と上記と同様に針葉樹の晒し品の木質部を叩解して平均繊維長2〜4.5mmとした木材繊維の30重量部とニトロセルロースの60重量部とスチレン-ブタジエン共重合体の10重量部とからなる焼尽性材料を水中に分散、混合したスラリーを吸引抄造した後、圧搾乾燥させて、密度が約0.90及び0.98g/cm3の対照試験片E1〜E2を作製した。前記の引張強度評価と同様にして引張強度を測定した。この引張強度をそのときの破断面積で除して、破断強度を算出した。その結果を図3に示す。図3から明らかな通り破断強度評価は、引張強度評価と同様な傾向を示した。
ニトロセルロースの60重量部と、アバカの茎を叩解し得られる繊維の30重量部と、スチレン-ブタジエン共重合体の10重量部とからなる焼尽性材料を水中に分散し、混合したスラリーを吸引して粗成形物とした。次いで、この粗成形物を金型で圧搾成形することにより焼尽性容器を得た。
Claims (3)
- 火薬を円筒状または角筒状の筒状の容器本体に充填して上蓋で塞いで封入し砲身薬室に装填される焼尽性容器であって、該容器本体と該上蓋とが、ケナフ、アサ、アマ、アバカ、タケ、及びワタから選ばれる少なくとも何れかの草本植物が叩解され、裂かれ、解され、または、切断された繊維、及び/又は、コウゾ、ミツマタ、及びガンピから選ばれる少なくとも何れかの灌木植物が叩解され、裂かれ、解され、または、切断された繊維を15〜80重量%と、ニトロセルロースを最大でも80重量%と、バインダーを最大でも10重量%との懸濁スラリーから抄造されて含み、圧搾成型されていることを特徴とする焼尽性容器。
- 前記繊維が、前記ケナフ、アサ、アマ、アバカ、及びタケの少なくとも何れかの茎の組織、前記ワタの綿花の組織、前記コウゾ、ミツマタ、及びガンピの少なくとも何れかの樹皮の組織であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の焼尽性容器。
- 前記繊維が、平均径5〜40μmで平均長3〜12mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の焼尽性容器。
