Description
SYSTEM”なる名称の米国特許[出願第(ATL−326)号]に詳述されているように、2つの仰角平面を夫々の位置を図示するアイコンを参照して、タイミングよく行なわれてもよい。ビームフォーマ・コントローラは、ビームフォーマ116又はマイクロビームフォーマ502によって送信される走査線のシーケンスを、フレーム・テーブルにおいてプログラムすることによって、画像平面のユーザ選択に応答する。ビームフォーマ・コントローラは、送信及び受信のビーム形成のための集束係数の適切なシーケンスを再計算又は選択することにより、両画像用のフレーム・テーブルを再度プログラムする。送信ビームは、マイクロビームフォーマ又はビームフォーマにおける送信ビームフォーマの制御のもとに、トランスデューサ・アレイ500の前の体積を通って望ましい方向に送信及び集束される。
Claims (9)
- 体積領域において異なる方向にビームを送信する平面状の二次元アレイ・トランスデューサと、
前記二次元アレイ・トランスデューサに結合されたビームフォーマと、
前記ビームフォーマに結合され、前記アレイ・トランスデューサに互いに対して異なる仰角面に置かれた2つの画像平面を走査させる、ビームフォーマ・コントローラであって、ここで、各仰角面は前記2つの画像平面が互いに交わらないよう前記アレイ・トランスデューサの前で異なる角度で延びる、ビームフォーマ・コントローラと、
前記仰角面のうち一方の方向を、その仰角面の画像のビームが向けられる方向の制御により選択するためのユーザ・インタフェイスと、
前記ビームフォーマに結合され、前記2つの画像平面のリアルタイム画像を生成する、スキャン・コンバータと、
前記スキャン・コンバータに結合され、前記2つのリアルタイム画像を表示するディスプレイと、
を有する、超音波診断システム。 - 前記画像平面のうち一方は、前記二次元アレイ・トランスデューサの前面に対して垂直に向けられ、他方の画像平面の前記仰角面は、前記ユーザ・インタフェイスによって選択可能である、請求項1記載の超音波診断システム。
- 前記画像平面のうち一方は、前記二次元アレイ・トランスデューサの前面に対して垂直に向けられる、請求項1記載の超音波診断システム。
- 前記仰角面は、所定の角度だけ離された、放射方向に離された画像平面を含む、請求項1記載の超音波診断システム。
- 前記画像は、セクタ画像を有する、請求項4記載の超音波診断システム。
- 前記ユーザ・インタフェイスは、両画像の位置又は寸法の少なくとも一方を同時に調整する手段を更に有する、請求項1記載の超音波診断システム。
- 前記ユーザ・インタフェイスは、トラックボールを有する、請求項6記載の超音波診断システム。
- 前記ユーザ・インタフェイスは、サイズ・キー及びポジション・キーを更に有する、請求項7記載の超音波診断システム。
- 前記ディスプレイは、前記2つの画像平面の相対的な空間的な向きを示すアイコンを表示するための手段を更に有する、請求項1記載の超音波診断システム。
