Claims (6)
- エンジン・バルブ事象を生成するために内燃機関の少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブを作動させるバルブ作動システムであって、
エンジン・バルブ事象を生成するために前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブに動きを付与する手段にして、カムと、該カムと接触する手段を有するロッカとを備えた動き付与手段と、
前記ロッカから前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブへと動きを伝達する1次手段にして、前記カムから前記ロッカを通して動きを選択的に受け取り、前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブを作動して、エンジン・バルブ事象を生成するようにされたマスタ/スレーブ・ピストン・アセンブリを備えた1次手段と、
前記1次手段が遮断又は故障している場合に前記ロッカから前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブへと動きを伝達する補助手段にして、前記ロッカから延在する第1接触表面を備え、前記動き付与手段と一体の補助手段と、
前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブに隣接する第2接触表面とを備え、
前記第1接触表面が前記第2接触表面と接触して、前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブを作動させて、エンジン・バルブ事象の少なくとも一部を生成させ、
前記第2接触表面がバルブ・ブリッジによって提供されている、バルブ作動システム。 - 前記第2接触表面が、前記バルブ・ブリッジ内で滑動自在に受け入れられたピン・アセンブリを備える、請求項1に記載のバルブ作動システム。
- 前記第2接触表面が前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブ上にある、請求項1に記載のバルブ作動システム。
- エンジン・バルブ事象が主排気事象である、請求項1に記載のバルブ作動システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブが排気バルブである、請求項1に記載のバルブ作動システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエンジン・バルブが吸気バルブである、請求項1に記載のバルブ作動システム。
