Description
この発明の実施の形態1に係るバックライト制御装置について図1から図6までを参照しながら説明する。図1は、この発明の実施の形態1に係るバックライト制御装置のカラーセンサーの構成を示す図である。なお、以降では、各図中、同一符号は同一又は相当部分を示す。
Claims (1)
- バックライトの色温度及び輝度を検出するカラーセンサーと、
前記色温度及び輝度の目標値を設定する設定部と、
前記カラーセンサーにより検出された色温度及び輝度と、前記設定部に設定された色温度及び輝度の目標値をそれぞれ比較し、色温度の検出値と色温度の目標値の差分に応じた色温度制御信号を出力するとともに、輝度の検出値と輝度の目標値の差分に応じた輝度制御信号を出力する制御部と、
前記色温度制御信号と輝度制御信号によって前記バックライトを駆動する駆動部とを備え、
前記バックライトの色温度及び輝度を目標値に保つようにフィードバック制御を行うバックライト制御装置であって、
前記カラーセンサーは、
色温度が6500K〜12000Kの範囲であるバックライトからの光が通されて、前記色温度と同じ温度の黒体の色度と同じ色度の光が得られ、波長域が560nmから680nmまでの光に対して感度を持つ黒体輻射フィルターと、
Y視感度フィルターと、
前記黒体輻射フィルターが装着され、色温度を検出する第1の光センサーと、
前記Y視感度フィルターが装着され、輝度を検出する第2の光センサーとを有する
ことを特徴とするバックライト制御装置。
