Description
先ず、ロータリコンプレッサ10の起動時の動作を図4を用いて説明する。前述した室内機に設けられた図示しない室内機側のコントローラの運転指令入力に基づき、コントローラ210はロータリコンプレッサ10の電動要素14に通電する。このとき、コントローラ210は電動要素14への通電と同時に、冷媒配管101の電磁弁105を開き、冷媒配管102の電磁弁106を閉じる(図4の(1))。これにより、冷媒配管101と配管75とが連通され、コントローラ210は第2のベーン52の背圧として両回転圧縮要素32、34の吸込側圧力を印加する状態で、ロータリコンプレッサ10の電動要素14の回転数を制御して起動する。
次に、両回転圧縮要素32、34が圧縮仕事をする第1の運転モードについて説明する。前述した室内機に設けられた図示しない室内機側のコントローラの運転指令入力に基づき、コントローラ210はロータリコンプレッサ10の電動要素14の回転数を制御すると共に、室内が通常負荷或いは高負荷状態である場合、コントローラ210は第1の運転モードを実行する。この第1の運転モードでコントローラ210は、冷媒配管101の電磁弁105及び冷媒配管102の電磁弁106を閉じる。
次に、第2の運転モードについて説明する。コントローラ210は室内が軽負荷状態である場合、第2の運転モードに移行する。この第2の運転モードは、実質的に第1の回転圧縮要素32のみが圧縮仕事をするモードであり、室内が軽負荷となって前記第1の運転モードでは電動要素14が低速回転となってしまう場合に行われる運転モードである。圧縮システムCSの小能力域において、実質的に第1の回転圧縮要素32のみに圧縮仕事をさせることで、第1及び第2の両シリンダ38、40で圧縮仕事をする場合より、圧縮する冷媒ガスの量を減らすことができるため、その分、軽負荷時にも電動要素14の回転数を上昇させ、電動要素14の運転効率を改善し、且つ、冷媒の漏れ損失も低減することが可能となるからである。

Claims (3)
- 密閉容器内に駆動要素と該駆動要素の回転軸にて駆動される第1及び第2の回転圧縮要素を収納し、該第1及び第2の回転圧縮要素を、第1及び第2のシリンダと、前記回転軸に形成された偏心部に嵌合されて前記各シリンダ内でそれぞれ偏心回転する第1及び第2のローラと、該第1及び第2のローラに当接して前記各シリンダ内を低圧室側と高圧室側にそれぞれ区画する第1及び第2のベーンとから構成すると共に、前記第1のベーンのみをバネ部材により前記第1のローラに付勢する多気筒回転圧縮機を備えた圧縮システムにおいて、
前記多気筒回転圧縮機を起動する際、前記第2のベーンの背圧として前記両回転圧縮要素の吸込側圧力を印加する状態で起動すると共に、起動した後に前記第2のベーンの背圧として前記両回転圧縮要素の吐出側圧力を印加し、その後、前記第2のベーンの背圧を前記両回転圧縮要素の吸込側圧力と吐出側圧力との間の中間圧力とすることを特徴とする圧縮システム。 - 前記多気筒回転圧縮機は、前記両回転圧縮要素が圧縮仕事をする第1の運転モードと、実質的に前記第1の回転圧縮要素のみが圧縮仕事をする第2の運転モードとを切り換えて使用可能とされることを特徴とする請求項1の圧縮システム。
- 請求項1乃至請求項2の圧縮システムを用いて冷媒回路が構成されていることを特徴とする冷凍装置。
