この発明は、洋式便器の便座を開放するための便座開放装置、および便座開放機能を有した洋式便器に関する。

【従来の技術】
洋式便器を男子小用に使用するときには邪魔になるので便座を開ける。
しかしこの、便座を開ける動作は、閉める動作に比べて腰を屈める必要があって面倒なので、後に使用する人の事を考えて開けておく事がよく行われている。中には、スイッチでモータを駆動制御することにより便座の開閉が容易に行なえるようにしたものがあるが(特開昭62−44215号)、高価になる難点がある。また、トイレに行くときは通常急いでいるときであるので、その都度スイッチを操作してモータの回動が完了し便座が開くのを待たなければならないのでは、苛々するという難点もある。

そこでこの発明は、用便後に自動的に便座が開くようにすることで、上述の難点を解消できるような装置の提供を主たる課題とする。
