しかしながら従来のものにおいては、凸部を設けるための工数が多く、また特定の部品を要するためコストが高い、という問題があった。

本発明は、前記凸部を設けるための工数、部品等を不要にした安価な前記装置を提供することを目的とする。

前記目的を達成するため、請求項1の発明によれば、側面衝突の際に、ドアに設けられた凸部を車体に設けられ係合相手部に係合させてドアの車室内への侵入を抑制するようにした装置において、前記ドアのインナパネルが、前記凸部を一体に有する鋳造材より構成され、前記インナパネルにガードビームをボルトにより締着するための雌ねじ孔が前記凸部に設けられていて、該凸部が雌ねじ孔形成用ボス部に兼用されることを特徴とする、被側面衝突車両におけるドアの車室内への侵入抑制装置が提供される。

図1,2に示すように、車両(乗用車)1における後部ドア2のヒンジ取付部側と反対側の下部において、車体3と後部ドア2との間に、車両1が側面衝突を受けたとき後部ドア2の車室内への侵入を抑制する装置が設けられている。

その装置は、側面衝突の際に、後部ドア2に設けられた凸部4を車体3に設けられ後部相手部5に係合させて後部ドア2の車室内への侵入を抑制するようになっている。
