Claims (8)
- 心臓血管内で選択された領域における電気的事象を検出するための、および、該選択された領域の組織の治療を行うための、カテーテルであって、
ハンドルと、
ハンドルと組み合わせた根元部と、先端部とを有するシャフトであって、軸に沿って配置した少なくとも1つの内腔を有し、軸に沿って延びている、シャフトと、
前記シャフトの軸と直交して前記先端部に設置された先端リングであって、当該先端リング上に相隔てて取り付けられた複数の電極を有する先端リングと、
前記先端リングから離れた位置に置かれた焼灼素子であって、該焼灼素子を覆う膨張可能な素子を有する焼灼素子と、
を具備し、
前記先端リングは、前記膨張可能な素子の周囲を血液が流れるように、前記膨張可能な素子を完全に膨張させたときの直径より大きな直径を有し、前記膨張可能な素子を完全に膨張させたときの直径は、前記心臓血管内で選択された領域の直径より小さいことを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 前記焼灼素子は、前記選択された領域の該焼灼素子を囲む部分に、前記膨張可能な素子を介して放射状に超音波エネルギーを放射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記シャフトは、主内腔を有し、さらに、前記複数の電極と接続され、前記主内腔を通っている複数の電線を具備することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記膨張可能な素子は、流体で満たされた内部空間により輪郭を定めることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記シャフトは、主内腔を有し、さらに、前記焼灼素子と接続され、前記主内腔を通っている複数の電線を具備することを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記シャフトは、主内腔を有し、さらに、前記主内腔を通り先端部近傍に固定された少なくとも1本の操作線を含む操作機構を具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記シャフトは、主内腔を有し、さらに、前記先端部に接続され、前記主内腔を通っている複数の熱電対用導線を具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 心臓血管内で選択された領域における電気的事象を検出するための、および、該選択された領域の組織の治療を行うための、装置であって、
ハンドルと、
ハンドルと組み合わせた根元部と、先端部とを有するシャフトであって、軸に沿って延びている、シャフトと、
前記シャフトの軸と実質的に直交して前記先端部に設置された先端リングであって、当該先端リング上に相隔てて取り付けられた複数の電極を有する先端リングと、
前記先端リングから離れた位置に置かれた焼灼素子と、
前記焼灼素子を覆う膨張可能な素子と、
前記焼灼素子に接続されたエネルギー源と、
前記複数の電極に接続され、前記複数の電極から受け取った電気信号を処理するための信号処理手段と、
を具備し、
前記先端リングは、前記膨張可能な素子を完全に膨張させたときの直径より大きな直径を有し、前記膨張可能な素子を完全に膨張させたときの直径は、前記心臓血管内で選択された領域の直径より小さいことを特徴とする装置。
