Description
本発明による複数の装置のための電力線モデム・ネットワークの同期化方法においては、データ・レートを同期させるためにクロック回路と電力線モデムとを有する複数の装置を備える。電力線モデムは、電力線ネットワークを介してデータ搬送波により複数の装置間でデータの伝送を可能にする。同期信号は電力線ネットワークを介して送信される。この同期信号は、データ搬送波とは異なる周波数で動作する搬送波を含み、複数の装置の各々にタイム・レファレンス(時間基準)を供給して、データ・レートを同期化(時間的に一致)させる。
Claims (8)
- 複数の装置のための電力線モデム・ネットワークの同期化方法であって、
前記複数の装置の各々が、データ・レートを同期させるためのクロック回路と電力線モデムとを有し、前記電力線モデムは、電力線ネットワークを介してデータ搬送波により複数の装置間のデータ伝送を可能にする、前記複数の装置を備えるステップと、
前記電力線ネットワークを介して同期信号を送信するステップと、
からなり、
前記同期信号は、前記データ搬送波とは異なる周波数で動作する搬送波であり、
前記同期信号は、前記データ・レートを同期させるためにタイム・レファレンスを前記複数の装置の各々に供給し、
前記複数の装置の各々は、割り当てられたタイム・スロットの間に応答する、前記同期化方法。 - 前記同期信号を送信するステップにおいて、前記データ搬送波とは異なる周波数で動作する複数の搬送波で前記同期信号を送信する、請求項1記載の同期化方法。
- 前記同期信号を送信するステップにおいて、カレント・タイム・スタンプを前記複数の装置に送信する、請求項1記載の同期化方法。
- 前記割り当てられたタイム・スロットと前記複数の装置の各々の前記応答との間のエラー・オフセットを決定するステップを更に含む、請求項1記載の同期化方法。
- エラー・オフセットを含む前記複数の装置の前記クロック回路の同期を補正するために、前記複数の装置に補正係数を送信するステップを更に含む、請求項1記載の同期化方法。
- データの同期を有する電力線ネットワークであって、
複数の装置の各々が、データ・レートを同期させるためのクロック回路と電力線モデムとを有し、前記電力線モデムは、前記電力線ネットワークを介してデータ搬送波により前記複数の装置間のデータ伝送を可能にする、前記複数の装置と、
前記電力線ネットワークに結合される電力線モデムを有し、且つクロック伝送回路を備えるマスター装置と、
からなり、
前記クロック伝送回路は、同期信号を発生して前記電力線ネットワークを介して送信し、
前記同期信号は、前記データ搬送波とは異なる周波数で動作する搬送波であり、
前記同期信号は、前記データ・レートを同期させるために前記複数の装置の各々にタイム・レファレンスを供給し、
前記同期信号は、カレント・タイム・スタンプを含み、該カレント・タイム・スタンプによって前記複数の装置の各々が、割り当てられたタイム・スロットの間に、応答する、
前記電力線ネットワーク。 - 前記同期信号が、前記データ搬送波とは異なる周波数で動作する複数の搬送波を含む、請求項6記載の電力線ネットワーク。
- 前記マスター装置により補正係数が前記複数の装置の各々に送られ、前記割り当てられたタイム・スロットと前記複数の装置の各々の前記応答との差であるエラー・オフセットを含む前記複数の装置の前記クロック回路の同期を補正する、請求項6記載の電力線ネットワーク。
