Description
The present invention relates to an oxygen indicator for detecting that a deoxygenated state by an oxygen scavenger for storing foods, beverages, medicines, etc. for a long period of time, and particularly after being exposed to light for a long period of time. However, the present invention relates to a responsive oxygen indicator and a package using the same.
At present, various oxygen indicators that can easily confirm the change in gas atmosphere due to the occurrence of pinholes in a deoxygenated package encapsulating an oxygen scavenger, poor sealing, and defective oxygen scavenger are on the market. The oxygen indicator is mainly composed of a redox indicator, a reducing agent, and a binder resin as components, and an oxygen indicator in which this combination is changed is known. The oxygen indicator utilizes the property that the redox indicator exhibits a different color tone between the reduced type and the oxidized type. When oxygen in the ambient atmosphere is sufficient, the oxygen indicator suppresses the action of the reducing agent and the redox indicator takes an oxidized structure, but the oxygen is present in the ambient atmosphere by the action of the oxygen scavenger. When it disappears, the reducing agent works and the redox indicator becomes a reduced structure. By utilizing the function of changing the color tone in this way, it is possible to visually detect a change in the oxygen concentration of the surrounding atmosphere.

Several oxygen indicators using a redox indicator are known, but many of them are subject to fading and decomposition by light irradiation, which may cause deterioration of the indicator function. For example, there is a problem that reduced methylene blue that is colorless is easily deteriorated by light, and the deteriorated methylene blue does not show the blue color of oxidized methylene blue even in the presence of oxygen. The light shielding property in the visible region can be realized by using ink containing pigments such as yellow and red, but it is not sufficient when long-term storage is required or when exposed to ultraviolet rays such as sunlight. Therefore, it has been desired to provide light shielding properties in the ultraviolet region.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to suppress deterioration of an indicator function due to light.

In the oxygen indicator of the present application, an ultraviolet cut layer that blocks an amount of ultraviolet light that deteriorates the indicator function is provided on the base material on which the oxygen indicator layer is provided. From now on, if the ultraviolet cut layer is directed in the ultraviolet irradiation direction and the oxygen indicator layer is directed behind it, the ultraviolet ray is shielded by the cut layer, so that the oxygen indicator layer is not irradiated with a large amount of ultraviolet rays and the indicator function is deteriorated. do not do. For this reason, the layer structure of the oxygen indicator of the present application may be any structure as long as the oxygen indicator layer is shielded against the irradiation direction of ultraviolet rays by the ultraviolet cut layer. In particular, when irradiating from both surfaces of the base material, a configuration in which the oxygen indicator layer is sandwiched between the ultraviolet cut layers is preferable. Further, the substrate may also serve as an ultraviolet cut layer.
The oxygen indicator of the present application can be an oxygen indicator that does not deteriorate the oxidation-reduction indicator due to ultraviolet rays by providing an ultraviolet cut layer that blocks the amount of ultraviolet rays that degrade the indicator function on the substrate on which the oxygen indicator layer is provided. .
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described.
As a redox indicator that is a component of the oxygen indicator, methylene blue, new methylene blue, neutral red, indigo carmine, acid red, safranin T, phenosafranine, capri blue, nile blue, diphenylamine, xylene cyanol, nitrodiphenylamine, ferroin, N-phenylanthranilic acid or the like can be used.
Moreover, as a reducing agent, ascorbic acid, ascorbate, erythorbic acid, erythorbate, D-arabinose, D-erythrose, D-galactose, D-xylose, D-glucose, D-mannose, D-fructose Further, reducing sugars such as D-lactose, metal salts such as stannous salts and ferrous salts can be used.
In addition, the light transmittance of the ultraviolet cut layer needs to be set to be less than 40% at 290 nm to 400 nm, so that the ultraviolet cut function is sufficiently exhibited, and the oxygen indicator function is deteriorated by the redox indicator. It can be suppressed.
There are organic and inorganic UV absorbers that contribute to UV protection. Examples of the organic ultraviolet absorber include benzophenone derivatives, benzotriazole derivatives, paramethylbenzoic acid derivatives, methoxycinnamic acid derivatives, salicylic acid derivatives, urocanic acid derivatives, and the like. The organic ultraviolet absorber can be applied to an ultraviolet cut layer and an ultraviolet cut film by being incorporated in a polymer side chain. Examples of the inorganic ultraviolet absorber include zinc oxide, titanium oxide, iron oxide, cerium oxide, kaolin, talc, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate and the like. Of these, zinc oxide and titanium oxide are particularly preferable.
As a ratio with respect to ultraviolet cut layer solid content of a ultraviolet absorber, 5-90 weight part is preferable. When the proportion of the ultraviolet absorber is 5 parts by weight or less, a sufficient ultraviolet cut effect is not exhibited. On the other hand, when the proportion of the ultraviolet absorber exceeds 90 parts by weight, the adhesion between the ultraviolet cut layer and the substrate to be coated becomes weak, and the coat layer may fall off.
The binder resin for forming the ultraviolet cut layer can be appropriately selected from known binder resins such as a polyester resin, a polyacrylic resin, and a polyurethane resin.
An anchor coat layer and an overcoat layer can be provided for the purpose of protecting the oxygen indicator layer and preventing appearance defects, peeling, and breakage. The anchor coat layer is a water-insoluble material having good adhesion between the substrate and the oxygen indicator layer formed thereon, and the overcoat layer is an oxygen permeable, oxygen indicator layer. Materials having good adhesion and good adhesion with an adhesive layer or other resin layer that can optionally be further provided on the oxygen indicator layer can be preferably used. Two or more anchor coat layers and / or overcoat layers may be provided as necessary.
In addition, in order to provide light shielding properties in the visible region, color pigments such as yellow, red, red, white, vermilion, orange, etc. are added to the UV cut layer, or the ink of that color is separated from the UV cut layer. It can be used as an anchor coat layer or an overcoat layer of an oxygen indicator.
As a base material, what does not react with the oxygen indicator which forms an oxygen indicator layer, and does not inhibit the coloring of a reagent is good. Examples of such a substrate include paper, synthetic paper, non-woven fabric or synthetic resin film, such as polyester, polyamide, polyvinyl alcohol, cellophane, ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, polyethylene, polypropylene, polymethylpentene, and silica of these, A transparent vapor deposition film such as alumina can be used in accordance with the purpose and usage. Moreover, it is preferable that an instruction | indication part consists of an ink layer which has patterns, such as a character and a pattern.
When the substrate is an ultraviolet cut film, it is possible to use the above substrate that has been subjected to half vapor deposition of silica, alumina or the like, or to the substrate by adding the ultraviolet absorber. .
As a method for laminating the oxygen indicator on the substrate, a printing method such as a screen printing method, an intaglio printing method, a gravure printing method, or a coating method such as roll coating, spray coating, dip coating or the like is preferably used.

Those printed with the UV cut layer showed an aerobic color in one day, but those that did not print the UV cut layer as in Comparative Example 1 showed an aerobic color even after 1 day after opening. Not shown.
