Description

The present invention relates to a support structure for a chair seat.

In the seat of the chair, on the upper part of the support supported by the legs, a seat receiving frame is formed by bending the left and right sides obliquely upward, and a rail having a V-shaped cross section at the left and right side ends is provided. There is one in which the seat shell is supported so that the seat shell can be easily bent downward by fitting downward grooves that protrude from the lower surfaces of both sides of the synthetic resin seat shell into the concave groove (for example, Patent Document 1).
JP 2003-135195 A

In the seat support structure described in the above-mentioned patent document, the lower surface of both side ends of the seat shell is supported by the left and right lays, and the lower surface excluding both sides of the seat shell and the upper surface of the seat receiving frame Since the space is formed, the seat shell may be bent too much due to the load at the time of sitting.

In order to prevent this, it is conceivable to increase the thickness of the seat shell. However, doing so increases the material cost and makes it uneconomical. As described above, the entire structure is thin, and a plurality of reinforcing ribs facing in the front-rear and left-right directions are formed on necessary portions of the lower surface thereof to restrict excessive bending.

However, if a plurality of reinforcing ribs facing in the front / rear / left / right direction are formed on the lower surface of the seat shell in this way, the shape of the mold for forming the seat shell becomes complicated, resulting in increased manufacturing costs and products of the seat shell. Cost increases.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and restricts excessive bending without increasing the thickness of the seat shell or providing reinforcing ribs, so that an appropriate cushioning property can be obtained. In addition, an object of the present invention is to provide a chair seat support structure capable of reducing the cost of the seat shell.

According to the present invention, the above problem is solved as follows.
(1) A seat receiving frame is provided on both sides of the upper surface of the front end portion of the support base supported by the leg rods and on the lower end portion of the back saddle standing from the rear end of the support base. the upper portion of the frame, the support structure of the seat of the chair comprising attached to受支the lower surface of the synthetic resin seat shell provided in the lower portion of the seat body, the seat support frames are mutually oriented in the lateral direction parallel None, lateral center part and the main frame of the front and rear pair attached to the front end portion upper surface and the lower end portion upper surface of the back rod of the support base, which is coupled to both end portions of the both main frames, front and rear A pair of left and right side frames each having a horizontal piece facing in a direction, and a front frame receiver and a rear frame receiver facing in the left-right direction and projecting downward at the front end and rear end of the lower surface of the seat shell, Center upper surface of the front main frame and the rear main frame And supporting a pair of left and right side frame receivers that project downward on the lower surfaces of both side portions of the seat shell and that are supported by the horizontal pieces of the left and right side frames, respectively. the frame receiving each other and fixed by screws.

(2) In the above item (1), the front frame receiver is made up of a pair of left and right, and they are separated by a dimension approximately equal to the left and right dimensions of both knees of the seated person.

(3) In the above item (1) or (2), the side frame is composed of two left and right support rods having an approximately U-shaped cross section and a horizontal piece that joins the upper ends of the opposing surfaces. And it forms integrally by press-molding a steel plate.

(4) In any one of the above items (1) to (3), a recess for receiving the seat receiving frame is provided on the lower surface of the seat shell, and each frame receiver is protruded from the lower surface in the recess.

(5) In the above item (4), an escape recess is provided on the lower surface of the front end of the recess so that the upper part of the front end of the support is fitted.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the lower surface of the seat shell is supported by the seat receiving frame at the four positions of the front and rear frame receivers and the left and right side frame receivers. When joined to the shell, it can be restricted from being greatly bent downward as a whole, and only the central part surrounded by each frame holder, that is, the vicinity of the buttocks, is bent downward, so that an appropriate cushioning property can be obtained. It is done.
Therefore, unlike the prior art, it is not necessary to limit the bending by increasing the thickness of the entire seat shell or forming a plurality of reinforcing ribs on the lower surface, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the front end portion of the seat shell between the left and right front frame receivers, that is, the vicinity of both knee portions is easily bent downward, a comfortable sitting comfort can be obtained.

According to the invention described in claim 3, since the rigidity of the side frame is increased, the support strength of the seat shell is increased.

According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the vertical dimension of the entire seat including the seat frame can be reduced, and the seat frame is not greatly exposed, so that the appearance is improved.

According to the invention described in claim 5, the vertical dimension of the entire seat including the support base can be further reduced.

In addition, a pair of left and right short front frames having a substantially triangular cross section is formed at the boundary between the flat part and the inclined part on both the left and right sides of the lower surface on the front side of the concave part (21) of the seat shell (18). Receptacles (25) and (25) are projected.

As shown in FIG. 7, the lower surfaces of the front frame receivers (25) are supported by the upper surface of the boundary between the horizontal portion and the upward bent portion of the main frame (13) on the front side. It is like that.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the central portion of both sides of the inclined portion on the lower surface of the concave portion (21) of the seat shell (18) faces in the front-rear direction, and the upper surface of the concave portion (21) faces upward. A pair of side frame receivers (26) and (26) having a letter-shaped cross-section are projected.

The lower surfaces of the both side frame receivers (26) are supported by the upper surfaces of the horizontal pieces (16) of the left and right side frames (14) of the seat receiving frame (12).

The size of the central part of the seat shell (18) surrounded by the front, rear, left and right frame receivers (24) to (26) is slightly larger than the size of the average buttock of the seated person. Is arranged.
In addition, the distance between the pair of left and right front frame receivers (25) is substantially equal to or larger than the left and right dimensions of both knees of the seated person.

In order to attach the seat body (17) to the seat frame (12), the seat shell (18) in which the inner shell (19) and the cushion material (20) are assembled in advance is mounted on the recess (21) on the lower surface thereof. It is mounted on the seat frame (12).

At this time, as described above, the lower surfaces of the front and rear frame receivers (24) to (26) of the seat shell (18) are the upper surfaces of the main frames (13) and (13) of the front and rear frames of the seat frame (12). The lower surface of the central portion of the seat shell (18) supported by the upper surfaces of the horizontal pieces (16) of the left and right side frames (14) and surrounded by the frame receivers (24) to (26), A required bending space (S) is formed between the upper surface of 12), that is, the upper surface of the horizontal portion of the front and rear main frames (13) (see FIG. 6).

As shown in FIG. 6, the seat frame (12) and the seat shell (18) are inserted into the through holes (27) (see FIG. 4) formed in the front and rear ends of the left and right horizontal pieces (16) from below. The inserted screw (28) is screwed directly toward the side frame receiver (26) of the seat shell (18) or the through hole (29) on the lower surface of the seat shell (18) (see FIG. 3). It is fixed by being screwed into a female screw cylinder (not shown) on the inner shell (19) side, which is inserted into the inner shell (19).

As described above, in the above-described embodiment, the seat shell (18) has the lower surfaces of the front, rear, left and right frame receivers (24) to (26) projecting from the lower surface thereof on the upper surface of the seat receiving frame (12). Since it is mounted in a supported manner, it is possible to restrict the entire seat shell (18) from being greatly bent downward when the load on the hips and both knees of the seated person is applied to the seat shell (18). The central portion surrounded by the frame receivers (24) to (26), that is, the vicinity of the buttocks, and the front end portion between the pair of left and right front frame receivers (25), that is, the vicinity of both knees, are bent spaces ( A moderate cushioning property can be obtained by bending downward within the range of S).

Therefore, it is not necessary to limit the bending by increasing the thickness of the entire seat shell 18 or forming a reinforcing rib on the lower surface, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
