Description
本発明が属する技術分野は、塞栓組成物送出装置に関し、特に、塞栓組成物の流体成分を送出する装置に関する。
多くの臨床局面において、出血をコントロールするなどの様々な目的で血管を塞いで、腫瘍、または、動静脈奇形(AVM)、動静脈フィステル、あるいは動脈瘤などの疾患のある血管に血液が流れ込むのを防止する。
本発明は、塞栓塊を体腔に送出する装置に関し、特に、塞栓組成物の液体成分を送出して体腔を閉塞する塞栓塊を形成する装置に関する。
図1を参照すると、塞栓組成物の第1の液体成分12と第2の液体成分14を送出するカテーテル装置10が記載されている。カテーテル装置10は、本発明の好ましい実施例によるコネクタ23と、外側筒状エレメント20と、内側筒状エレメント22を具える。コネクタ23は、外側筒状エレメント20が内側筒状エレメント22を同軸に囲むように、外側筒状エレメント20と内側筒状エレメント22を固着するためのものである。外側筒状エレメントは、遠位端24と、近位端26と、内腔28を有する。同様に、内側筒状エレメント22も、遠位端30と、近位端32と、内腔34を有する。コネクタ23は、横方向に位置する第1のポート52と、軸方向に位置する第2のポート54と、受けエレメント56と、スリーブ58を具える。コネクタ23は、第1の供給源34と第2の供給源36に接続されるように設計されており、これらの供給源には、それぞれ第1の液体成分12と第2の液体成分14が入っている。供給源34と36のいずれも、シリンジ、タンク、あるいはポンプであっても良い。供給源34と36は、各々、二重バレルシリンジの一部であっても良い。
Claims (19)
- 外側および内側筒状エレメントを介して第1及び第2の液体成分を送出する装置であって、前記外側及び内側筒状エレメントの各々が内腔を有する装置において、当該装置が:
前記外側筒状エレメントの近位端を着脱自在に固着する受けエレメントを有するコネクタと;
前記外側筒状エレメントが前記受けエレメントに固着されているときに前記外側筒状エレメントの内腔と連結して液体を伝達する第1のポートと;
前記内側筒状エレメントが前記外側筒状エレメントの内腔内で前記コネクタに同軸に固着されている場合、前記内側筒状エレメントの内腔と連結して液体を伝達する第2のポートと;
前記外側他筒状エレメントの遠位部分内であって、前記内側筒状エレメントの遠位端の外側に、前記外側及び内側筒状エレメントの内腔に連結して液体の伝達を行う混合ゾーンと;
前記外側筒状エレメントの遠位部分内に配置され、第1の液体成分及び第2の液体成分を混合するための定位混合エレメントと;
を具えることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記第1のポートが前記受けエレメント上に配置されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記第1のポートが前記受けエレメント近傍の湾曲部に配置されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記第2のポートが、前記内側筒状エレメントを前記コネクタに固着するのに使用されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記コネクタが更に、前記内側筒状エレメントを固着するスリーブを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記コネクタが前記内側筒状エレメントをスライド可能に固着するように構成されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記内側筒状エレメントの遠位端がフレキシブル部を具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の装置が、更に、前記内側筒状エレメントの遠位先端近傍に放射線不透過性のマーカを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記内側筒状エレメントが、前記内側筒状エレメントの前記コネクタに対する近位側の軸方向における移動を制限するように構成されたストッパを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の装置が、更に、前記内側筒状エレメントの近位端にマーカを具え、前記内側筒状エレメントの遠位先端の、前記外側筒状エレメントの遠位先端に対する配置を決定するように構成したことを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の装置が、更に、前記内側筒状エレメントの近位端に取り付けたハンドルを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至11のいずれかに記載の装置が、更に、前記内側筒状エレメントの遠位端に連結された切断エレメントを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項12に記載の装置において、前記内側及び外側筒状エレメントの各々が、前記第1及び第2の液体成分の相対流量率に基づいて選択された管腔体積を有することを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1乃至13のいずれかに記載された装置が、更に、前記内側筒状エレメントの内腔を介して前進するように配設されたガイドワイヤを具えることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記定位混合エレメントが、前記外側筒状エレメントの内側面上に配置されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記定位混合エレメントが、前記内側筒状エレメントの外側面上に配置されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置が、更に、前記外側筒状エレメントの遠位端内に混合ゾーンを具え、前記定位混合エレメントが前記混合ゾーン内に配置されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1、請求項15乃至17のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記定位混合エレメントが、液体の流れを迂回させるようにテーパ形状を成していることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項1、請求項15乃至18のいずれかに記載の装置において、前記定位混合エレメントが、均一の液体の流れを分裂させる複数の突出部を具えることを特徴とする装置。
