Description
Claims (6)
- 複数のセンサによりサンプリングされる信号を処理する方法であって、前記センサの少なくともひとつは別の前記センサよりも移動ウェブの機械方向に沿って異なる位置にあり、
(a)ウェブの特性についての少なくとも1つの機械方向プロファイルを生成するために、信号サンプルを組み合わせるステップと、
(b)前記少なくとも1つの機械方向プロファイルを訂正データとを組み合わせて前記特性の訂正された機械方向プロファイルを提供するステップと、を備え、
幾つかの前記訂正データは前記センサ以外のから得られ、前記信号は第1のレートでサンプリングされ、前記提供するステップ(b)は第1のレートよりも遅い第2のレートでサンプリングされる、方法。 - 各ロケーションでサンプリングされた信号は、湿度含有量、光沢、色、粘土含有量、ラテックス含有量、CaCO3含有量、滑らかさ、および温度からなるグループのうちの1つ以上を表す、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 前記操作は、前記ウェブを湿式材料でコーティングするステップ、および前記コーティングされたウェブを乾燥させるステップを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記訂正データは、乾燥器の空気温度、乾燥器の空気圧、ウェブの速度、ベース紙、コーティング調合、コーティング重量、吸気湿気レベル、排気湿気レベル、および赤外線エネルギーからなるグループのうちの1つまたは複数を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
