【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、被包装物の外側を、少なくとも隣接する３面においていずれも貼着片を有する様に包装材料で被包した略六面体を為す包装物の包装材料を、自動的に、所定位置を切断し、開封し、被包装物を取出すための方法とそのための装置に関するものである。

例えば、牛乳，ジユースなどの液体飲料を入れる紙容器として、図１８に示すような角筒状のものがある。このような紙容器（２）は図１９に示すように嵩張らないように扁平状に折り畳み、これを多数集積してその外側を図１に示すように包装材料（３）で１まとめに包装して略六面体の１つの包装物（１）として保管しておき、液体飲料等を充填する際これを開封して、紙容器を取出し、液体飲料充填機に供給し、紙容器を使用している。
その包装物（１）は、図１に示されるように、まず折り畳まれた紙容器の集積体である被包装物（２）の底面（Ｄ）に当てられた包装材料（３）が両面（Ｅ）及び両側面（Ｂ）（Ｃ）側に折り込まれ、両側側面部には折込片（ｄ）が形成され、側面（Ｂ）においては、底面（Ｄ）から折り込まれた折込片（ｄ）の上に、折り畳んだ２枚の貼着片（ｂ1）と（ｂ2）同士を貼り合わせ、更に反対側の側面（Ｃ）側においても同様に折り畳んだ２枚の貼着片（ｃ1）と（ｃ2）同士を貼り合わせてある。この場合、各側面（Ｂ）（Ｃ）の貼着片の延長部分は頂面（Ａ）側に折り込まれ、折込片（ｂ1´）、（ｂ2´）及び（ｃ1´）、（ｃ2´）とされる。その後、その頂面（Ａ）側において折り畳んだ２枚の貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）同士を貼り合わせたものである。貼着片の始端はそれぞれＶ字形を形成しており、折込片と貼着片とは貼着されていない。
偏平状に折り畳まれている紙容器は、液体飲料充填機において、角筒状に拡開し、その底部を溶着、成形し、液体飲料等を充填して、頂部を溶着により密封して液体飲料入り紙容器に成形されるが、それらの作業は全て機械により行われている。そこで、それに合わせて、包装物（１）を開封し、紙容器を取出し、液体飲料充填機に供給することも、機械的に行うことがすでに提案されている。

例えば、「特許文献」特開２０００−４３８３３号公報に記載された発明においては、図１に示されているような略六面体をなす包装物（１）の３面（Ａ），（Ｂ），（Ｃ）において外側に位置する貼着片（ａ），（ｂ）、（ｃ）に着目し、被包装物（２）を傷付けることなく、開封することのできる包装物の貼り合わせ部を利用した開封方法及び装置が示されている。
すなわち、図１に示されているように、貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）により貼り合わせてある頂面（Ａ）において、前記貼着片と被包装物（２）及び折込片（ｂ1´）（ｂ2´）、（ｃ1´）（ｃ2´）との隙間に、その側縁に切断刃が設けられている切断刃付き板を挿入し、その面の稜線を切断し、吸引パッドを用いてその切断片及び折込片を開き、その開いた頂面の両側端に取出装置の把持爪を挿入し、被包装物を把持して取出す開封方法及び装置が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、前記発明においては、包装材料（３）で１まとめに包装した略六面体の１つの包装物（１）は、頂面を切り開いたのみでは、両側側面（Ｂ）（Ｃ）に折り畳んだ貼着片（ｂ1）（ｂ2）、（ｃ1）（ｃ2）及び底平面（Ｄ）からの折込片（ｄ）が存在するために、被包装物（２）と包装材料（３）との間に、頂面から取出装置の把持爪を挿入し、被包装物（２）を把持することにしばしば困難を生じる。被包装物（２）の寸法が小さい場合には、特に困難性がます。
そこで、被包装物の寸法の如何にかかわらず、被包装物を傷付けることなく、包装物を開封し、容易、確実に被包装物を取出すことが必要となった。

本発明の目的は、包装された略六面体をなす包装物（１）の３面（Ａ），（Ｂ），（Ｃ）において外側に位置する貼着片（ａ），（ｂ）、（ｃ）に着目し、被包装物（２）を傷付けることなく、自動的、かつ効率的に包装物の開封を行うことができると共に、寸法の小さな被包装物であっても、容易に包装物より被包装物を取出すことのできる包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法とそのための装置を提供することである。
本発明の他の目的は、被包装物の弾力性を利用した包装物からの被包装物の取出し方法及びそのための装置を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を解決するために、本発明の包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法は、包装材料で被包装物を被包し、その３面において貼着片により貼り合わせてある略六面体の包装物を開封し、被包装物を取出す方法であって、前記包装物の貼着片により貼り合わせてある頂面において、被包装物及び折込片と貼着片との間に切断刃付き板状体を挿入し、その面の少なくとも１つの稜線を切断刃により切断し、切断された貼着片及び側面側からの折込片を吸引パッドにより外側に開く工程と、前記包装物の貼着片により貼り合わせてある両側側面において、被包装物及び折込片と貼着片との間に一対の切断刃付き板状体を下方から挿入し、その面の少なくとも１つの稜線を切断刃により切断する工程と、前記両側側面の切断刃付き板状体を下方へ移動させ、両側から被包装物を圧縮・把持する工程と、前記包装物の上面へ一対の把持爪を下降する工程と、前記一対の把持爪を両側に開くことにより、両側側面の折込片と貼着片を外側に開く工程と、前記一対の把持爪を下降させ、把持爪を被包装物と折込片及び貼着片との間に挿入する工程と、前記一対の把持爪により両側から被包装物を把持する工程と、前記両側側面の切断刃付き板状体を下方へ移動させ、切断刃付き板状体による被包装物の把持を解除する工程と、前記一対の把持爪を移動することにより被包装物を取出す工程と、よりなることを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法は、包装材料で被包装物を被包し、その３面において貼着片により貼り合わせてある略六面体の包装物を開封し、被包装物を取出す方法であって、前記包装物の貼着片により貼り合わせてある頂面において、被包装物及び折込片と貼着片との間に切断刃付き板状体を挿入し、その面の少なくとも１つの稜線を切断刃により切断し、切断された貼着片及び側面側からの折込片を吸引パッドにより外側に開く工程と、前記包装物の貼着片により貼り合わせてある両側側面において、被包装物及び折込片と貼着片との間に一対の切断刃付き板状体を下方から挿入し、その面の少なくとも１つの稜線を切断刃により切断する工程と、前記両側側面の切断刃付き板状体を下方へ移動させ、両側から被包装物を圧縮・把持する工程と、前記包装物の上面へ一対の把持爪を下降する工程と、前記一対の把持爪を両側に開くことにより、両側側面の折込片と貼着片を外側に開く工程と、前記一対の把持爪を下降させ、把持爪を被包装物と折込片及び貼着片との間に挿入する工程と、前記一対の把持爪により両側から被包装物を把持する工程と、前記両側側面の切断刃付き板状体を下方へ移動させ、切断刃付き板状体による被包装物の把持を解除する工程と、前記一対の把持爪を移動することにより被包装物を取出す工程と、よりなる包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法である。
略六面体の包装物を開封し、被包装物を取出すに当たって、頂面及び両側側面の３面の稜線を切断することにより把持爪により被包装物を把持しやすくなり、また、両側側面の切断刃付き板状体により両側側面の稜線の切断をし、かつ切断刃付き板状体により被包装物を両側から圧縮すること、及び一対の取出し用の把持爪を両側へ開くことにより、取出し用の把持爪を被包装物と包装材料との間に挿入することが容易となり、圧縮された被包装物を前記切断刃付き板状体より受け取ることができるので、さらに被包装物を把持しやすくなり、被包装物の寸法の如何にかかわらず、被包装物を傷付けることなく、包装物を開封し、被包装物を容易、確実に包装物より取出すことができる。

さらに、本発明の包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法における被包装物は、適度の弾力性があればいかなるものであっても適用できるが、折り畳んだ紙容器の集積体は、紙が折り畳まれているので、元に戻ろうとする力が作用しているので、適度の弾力性があり、両側側面の切断刃付き板状体により両側から圧縮されて、一対の把持爪が容易に受取ることができる。

本発明の包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法を実施するための本発明に係る包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し装置は、包装材料で被包装物を被包し、その３面において貼着片により貼り合わせてある略六面体の包装物を開封し、被包装物を取出す装置であって、前記包装物の貼着片により貼り合わせてある頂面において、被包装物及び折込片と貼着片との間に切断刃付き板状体を挿入し、その面の少なくとも１つの稜線をその切断刃により切断する頂面切断手段と、前記切断された貼着片及び側面側からの折込片を吸引パッドにより外側に開く吸引手段と、前記包装物の貼着片により貼り合わせてある両側側面において、被包装物及び折込片と貼着片との間に一対の切断刃付き板状体を下方から挿入し、その面の少なくとも１つの稜線をその切断刃により切断し、前記両側側面の切断刃付き板状体を下方へ移動させ、両側から被包装物を圧縮把持し、さらに下方へ移動させることにより被包装物の把持を解除する両側側面切断手段と、前記包装物の上面へ下降し、両側に開くことにより、両側側面の折込片と貼着片を外側に開き、下降させて被包装物と折込片及び貼着片との間に挿入し、両側から被包装物を把持し、被包装物を取り出す一対の把持爪よりなる把持・取出し手段と、より構成されている。
略六面体の包装物を開封し、被包装物を取出すに当たって、頂面及び両側側面の３面の稜線を切断する手段を設けたことにより把持爪による被包装物の把持を容易にし、また、両側側面の切断刃付き板状体を両側側面の稜線の切断手段と、被包装物を両側から圧縮把持する把持手段との共用としたので、簡潔な構成により、被包装物の寸法の如何にかかわらず、被包装物を傷付けることなく、包装物を開封し、被包装物を容易、確実に包装物より取出すことができる。

さらに、本発明の包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し装置は、前記被包装物を折り畳んだ紙容器の集積体とすることにより、側幅方向に適度の弾力性が生じるため、両側側面の切断刃付き板状体により両側から圧縮されて、一対の把持爪が容易に受取ることができる。

【実施例】
本発明の包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法とそのための装置を実施するための被包装物（２）の例としてとしては、牛乳、ジュースなどの液体飲料を入れるための角筒状の容器（図１８）を嵩張らないように扁平に折り畳んでシート状にし（図１９）、これをその背と腹とが前後に重なり合うように多数集積したものである。包装物（１）は、前記シート状の紙容器を多数集積したものの外側を図１に示すように包装材料（３）で機械により自動的に被包したものであり、略六面体をなしているものである。
その包装物（１）は、図１に示されるように、まず偏平状に折り畳まれた紙容器の集積体である被包装物（２）の底面（Ｄ）に当てられた包装材料（３）が両面（Ｅ）及び両側側面（Ｂ）（Ｃ）側に折り込まれ、側面部には折込片（ｄ）が形成され、側面（Ｂ）においては、底面から折り込まれた折込片（ｄ）の上に、折り畳んだ２枚の貼着片（ｂ1）と（ｂ2）同士を貼り合わせ、更に反対側の側面（Ｃ）側においても同様に折り畳んだ２枚の貼着片（ｃ1）と（ｃ2）同士を貼り合わせてある。この場合、各側面（Ｂ）（Ｃ）の貼着片の延長部分は頂面（Ａ）側に折り込まれ、折込片（ｂ1´）、（ｂ2´）及び（ｃ1´）、（ｃ2´）とされる。その後、その頂面（Ａ）側において折り畳んだ２枚の貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）同士を貼り合わせたものである。貼着片の始端はそれぞれＶ字形を形成しており、折込片（ｄ）と貼着片（ｂ1）（ｂ2）、（ｃ1）（ｃ2）及び折込片（ｂ1´）（ｂ2´）、（ｃ1´）（ｃ2´）と貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）とは貼着されていない。
なお、この様な包装は、自動化された一般的な包装機械により自動的に行われる。

そこで本発明は、被包装物の外側の３面においていずれも貼着片を有する様に包装材料で被包した略六面体を為すこのような包装物（１）を開封し、被包装物を取出すに当っては、前記３面（Ｂ）（Ａ）（Ｃ）に形成されたそれぞれの２枚の貼着片（ｂ1）と（ｂ2）、（ａ1）と（ａ2）、（ｃ1）と（ｃ2）が、それら同士では貼着されているが、その下に存在する包装材料の折込片（ｄ）、（ｂ1´）（ｂ2´）、（ｃ1´）（ｃ2´）とは貼着されていないことに着目して、その間に切断刃付き板状体（４）等を挿入することにより、該貼着片を隣接する他の面との稜線に沿って切断することにより、被包装物を傷付けることなく開封し、同じ切断刃付き板状体を用いて被包装物を、その弾性を利用することにより圧縮し、容易、確実に被包装物を取出し、次工程に移動することができるようにしたものである。

本発明における包装物（１）の開封及び被包装物の取出し操作は、水平の開封作業テーブル上で行われる。その装置は、基本的には従来例として示した前記特開２０００−４３８３３号公報に記載された発明と同様のものを使用できる。すなわち、水平の開封作業テーブルを中心として、包装物（１）を移動するためのコンベア等の移動手段、包装物の頂面（Ａ）の貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）の稜線（ｅ1）（ｅ2）を切断するための切断刃付き板状体（４）（５）を水平に移動させる頂面切断手段、包装物（１）の両側側面（Ｂ）（Ｃ）の貼着片（ｂ1）（ｂ2），（ｃ1）（ｃ2）の稜線を切断するための切断刃付き板状体（８）（９）をテーブルの下方から垂直に移動させ、かつ両側から幅方向に移動させることにより被包装物を圧縮・把持する両側側面切断手段、及び、開封作業テーブルの上方に設けられ、被包装物（２）を両把持爪（１２）（１３）により把持し、垂直方向及び水平方向に運搬することのできる被包装物把持・取出し手段より構成されている。

本発明の、被包装物の外側の３面においていずれも貼着片を有する様に包装材料で被包した略六面体を為す包装物（１）を開封し、被包装物を取出す操作の詳細について図２〜図１７に基いて説明する。
図２に示されているように、包装物（１）は頂面（Ａ）を上方に向け、供給コンベアーにより搬送され、開封・取出し機の開封作業テーブル上に載置され、必要に応じて、吸引パッド等により底面部（Ｄ）を吸着することにより開封作業テーブル上に固定される。
その状態で、包装物（１）の側面に配置されている左側の切断刃付き板状体（４）を前進させ、貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）と下の包装材料の折込片（ｃ1´）（ｃ2´）との間に挿入し、前進させる。切断刃付き板状体（４）の先端部の片側には切断刃（６）が形成されているので、稜線（ｅ1）が切断される。該切断刃付き板状体（４）の先端部が中間点を過ぎたら後退させる。その行為により頂面（Ａ）の手前の稜線（ｅ1 ）の約半分が切断される。次に、同様に、片側に切断刃（７）が形成されている右側の切断刃付き板状体（５）を前進させ、残りの右側半分の稜線（ｅ1） を切断する。

その際に、貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）と下の包装材料の折込片（ｂ1´）（ｂ2´）、（ｃ1´）（ｃ2´）との隙間が、切断刃付き板状体（４）（５）を挿入するのに十分でない場合には、吸引パッド等により頂面（Ａ）の貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）を吸引することにより、その隙間を十分に形成することができる。
この場合には、片側のみの切断刃を有する切断刃付き板状体（４）（５）により、頂面（Ａ）の片側の稜線（ｅ1）のみを切断しているが、両側先端に切断刃を有する切断刃付き板状体を用いることにより頂面（Ａ）の両側の稜線（ｅ1）（ｅ2）を同時に切断し、貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）を切り離してしまうこともできる。
そして、吸着パット等を用いて開口部分の頂部の貼着片（ａ1）（ａ2）及び両側面部側からの折込片（ｂ1´）（ｂ2´）、（ｃ1´）（ｃ2´）を外側に開く（図３の状態）。

次に、テーブルに設けられた開口から、包装物（１）の右側側面の貼着片（ｂ1）（ｂ2）と下部折込み部（ｄ）との間、及び包装物（１）の左側側面の貼着片（ｃ1）（ｃ2）と下部折込み部（ｄ）との間に、テーブルの下方に収納されている右側の切断刃付き板状体（９）及び左側の切断刃付き板状体（８）を上昇することにより挿入し、包装物（１）の上端まで上昇させる（図４の状態）。
右側の切断刃付き板状体（９）及び左側の切断刃付き板状体（８）には、先端部の片側（稜線、ｆ1、ｇ1側）に切断刃（１１）（１０）が形成されているので、図４の手前側の縦稜線（ｆ1）（ｇ1）が同時にその上端まで全部切断される（図５の状態）。
そこで、両側の切断刃付き板状体（８）（９）を両側外側に若干開くことにより、右側側面の貼着片（ｂ1）（ｂ2）、折込片（ｂ1´）（ｂ2´）及び左側側面の貼着片（ｃ1）（ｃ2）、折込片（ｃ1´）（ｃ2´）を被包装物（２）から引離す（図６の状態）。
なお、テーブルには、両側の切断刃付き板状体（８）（９）が両側方向に移動できるだけの開口が設けられている。

その状態で、両側の切断刃付き板状体（８）（９）を、被包装物（２）の約下半分ないし３分の１の部分を把持できる部分まで下降させ（図７の状態）、両側の切断刃付き板状体（８）（９）を中心部に向かって移動させることにより、被包装物（２）の下半分の部分を圧縮して把持する（図８の状態）。被包装物（２）は前記した通り、角筒状の紙容器を嵩張らないように扁平に折り畳んでシート状にしたものを多数集積したものであるので、ある程度の弾力性がるので側幅は圧縮されて小さくなる。

その状態で、上方に待機している被包装物取出装置の一対の把持爪（１２）（１３）を被包装物（２）の上方に下降させ（図９の状態）、次にその両把持爪（１２）（１３）を外方へ移動させることにより包装材料（３）の右側側面の貼着片（ｂ1）（ｂ2）、折込片（ｂ1´）（ｂ2´）及び左側側面の貼着片（ｃ1）（ｃ2）、折込片（ｃ1´）（ｃ2´）を外方へ引き離し（図１０の状態）、その状態で両把持爪（１２）（１３）を下降させることにより被包装物（２）と包装材料（３）の間に両把持爪（１２）（１３）を挿入する（図１１の状態）。この場合、被包装物（２）と包装材料（３）の間は、両側の切断刃付き板状体（８）（９）により被包装物（２）が圧縮して把持されて側幅が小さくなっていると共に、一対の把持爪（１２）（１３）により包装材料（３）が外方へ引き離されているので間隙が十分確保されているので、両把持爪（１２）（１３）を容易、確実に挿入することができる。また、その際両把持爪（１２）（１３）の下端が被包装物（２）の下部を把持している両側の切断刃付き板状体（８）（９）と干渉しない位置に止める。その位置で、両把持爪（１２）（１３）を中心方向に移動させることにより被包装物（２）を両側面から把持し（図１２の状態）、次に、両側の切断刃付き板状体（８）（９）を下降させて、テーブルの下方へ収納する（図１３の状態）。

次に、両把持爪（１２）（１３）により被包装物（２）を両側面から把持した状態で、両把持爪（１２）（１３）が設けられている被包装物取出装置（図示せず）を左方向へ移動させて、被包装物（２）の仮置きバスケット（１４）の中に収容させる（図１４、図１５の状態）。
この場合、被包装物（２）の下面には包装材料（３）の底面部分（Ｄ）及び両側の下部の折込み部分（ｄ）（ｄ）が残っているが、包装材料（３）の底面を開封作業テーブル上に設けられた吸引パッド等により吸引しておくことにより、被包装物（２）の水平移動には差し支えないが、必要に応じて、両把持爪（１２）（１３）により被包装物（２）を押圧把持した状態で若干上昇させてから移動するようにしても良い。被包装物（２）を仮置きバスケット（１４）の中に収容させた状態で、把持爪（１２）（１３）の把持を解き、把持爪（１２）（１３）を上昇させて、元の位置に戻すことにより包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し工程が終了する（図１５〜図１７の状態）。

その後、被包装物（折り畳まれた紙容器）を収容した仮置きバスケット（１４）は、液体飲料充填機のマガジンにセットされ、紙容器は１個１個取り出されて組み立てられ、液体飲料等が充填される。

【発明の効果】
本発明の包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法とそのための装置を採用することにより、次の効果を得ることができる。

本発明に係る包装物の開封及び被包装物の取出し方法によれば、略六面体の包装物を開封し、被包装物を取出すに当たって、頂面及び両側側面の３面の稜線を切断することにより把持爪により被包装物を把持しやすくなり、また、両側側面の切断刃付き板状体により両側側面の稜線の切断をし、かつ被包装物を両側から圧縮することにより、取出し用の把持爪を被包装物と包装材料との間に挿入することが容易となり、圧縮された被包装物を前記切断刃付き板状体より受け取ることができるので、さらに被包装物を把持しやすくなり、被包装物の寸法の如何にかかわらず、被包装物を傷付けることなく、包装物を開封し、被包装物を容易、確実に包装物より取出すことができる。
