Description
【0001】

【0014】
ここで、通信ネットワークNは、電話回線網、ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network)回線網、CATV(CAble TeleVision)回線網、移動体通信網等の各種回線網と、それらを接続するインターネットサービスプロバイダや基地局等を含む。
【0015】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an image print sales apparatus and program.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, an image printing and sales apparatus (hereinafter referred to as “print vendor”) that prints and sells images read from media such as memory cards has been installed in street corners or buildings and recorded by digital cameras or the like. Data can be printed easily. The print vendor reads the image data from the media such as a memory card, displays the input screen for the print conditions (image to be printed, print size, number of prints, etc.) on the display monitor, and prints the image based on the input print conditions. To do. As an example of such a print vendor,
[0003]
Depending on the print vendor, there is no need for troublesome printer settings when printing photos at home via a PC (Personal Computer), and it is possible to provide high-quality photos because it is specialized for photo printing. The number of print vendors is expected to increase in the future because it is possible to easily print photos even if they are suddenly needed.

[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Since print vendors read and print images recorded on media, customers using print vendors need to bring media on which images are recorded. However, when images to be printed are recorded on a plurality of media, the number of media to be brought increases, which is inconvenient for customers. Also, since images recorded on the media could only be viewed or printed by customers who brought the media, the images recorded on the media could not be shared by multiple people.
[0006]
As a method for solving such a problem, a method in which an image management server that manages images and a print vendor are connected by a communication network such as the Internet, and an image read by the print vendor is uploaded to the image management server and registered. Can be considered. In this way, once an image is registered in the image management server, the registered image can be downloaded to a print vendor and printed, and the customer can print without having to bring a large number of media. Can do. Further, if the image registered in the image management server is made public on the communication network, a person other than the owner of the image can print the image with the print vendor.
[0007]
However, if an upload function is added to the print vendor to make the print vendor multi-functional, when multiple tasks (processes) coexist, the processing speed of each task decreases, so the processing wait time of the customer becomes long. There was a problem that. In particular, since the printing process is a main function of the print vendor, an increase in the printing time has a problem that the convenience of the print vendor is significantly reduced.
[0008]
An object of the present invention is to improve convenience in a print vendor having an upload function to an image management server.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An image print sales apparatus of the present invention reads image data from an image recording apparatus in which image data is recorded, and manages image data in an image print sales apparatus that prints and sells the read image data. Connection means for connecting to the apparatus via a communication network, storage means for storing image data read from the image recording apparatus, and selected to be transmitted to the image management apparatus each Of image data total By comparing the capacity comparing means for comparing the capacity with the free capacity of the storage means and the capacity comparing means, the free capacity is scheduled to be transmitted. each Of image data total If it is larger than the capacity, the selected to be sent each The image data is stored in the storage means, and this stored each Transmission means for transmitting image data to the image management apparatus.
