Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, and more particularly to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner of a type that blows air from the top surface.
In such an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, it is required to improve performance while maintaining compactness. And it is calculated | required also about the fan for blowing off air, raising air volume, maintaining the magnitude | size equivalent to the past.
However, conventionally, a fan guard mounted so as to cover the air outlet where the fan impeller is disposed serves as a resistance when air is blown, resulting in pressure loss. It is not considered from a safety aspect that the fan guard is omitted for the purpose of eliminating this pressure loss, but if the pressure loss can be suppressed as small as possible, the air volume can be increased accordingly.
An object of the present invention is to provide an outdoor unit that can suppress a pressure loss due to the presence of a fan guard and improve the performance of an air conditioner.
The outdoor unit of the air conditioner according to the first invention includes a fan, an air outlet, and a fan guard. The air outlet is Ri opening der to give the air blown from the fan to the outside, that is formed in the top plate. The fan guard covers the air blower outlet, faces the air blower outlet and is separated from the fan by a distance longer than the length of the test finger, and from the periphery of the long gap part toward the periphery of the air blower outlet. And a side portion extending in the direction. There is a gap in the height direction between the long separation portion and the top plate. The test finger has a length of 80 mm and a diameter of 12 mm. In addition, the test finger can be inserted into the first opening formed in the long separation portion, and the test finger cannot be inserted into the second opening formed in the side surface portion. The first opening formed in the long separation portion has a width of 12 mm or more. The second opening formed in the side surface portion has a width smaller than 12 mm. The long separation part is separated from the fan by 80 mm or more. The distance between the long separation portion and the fan is 500 mm or less. The width of the first opening is 60 mm or less. The width of the second opening is 3 mm or more.
Conventionally, in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, many slits for allowing air to pass are formed in a resin fan guard, but the maximum width of these slits is so that a test finger does not enter, that is, less than 12 mm. The width is suppressed.
In contrast, in the outdoor unit according to the first aspect of the invention, the fan guard is provided with a long separation portion at a position farther from the fan than the length of the test finger, and the fingertip rotates even if the finger is inserted if the long separation portion. Since the fan is not touched, the first opening at the long separation portion is made large (wide) so that the test finger can be inserted. Since such a large first opening is formed in the long separated portion of the fan guard, the air blown out from the air blowout port comes out of the outdoor unit without receiving a large resistance by the fan guard. Thus, it is possible to realize a state in which the pressure loss due to the presence of the fan guard is suppressed to a small level. Thereby, in the outdoor unit which concerns on 1st invention, an air volume can be increased or a static pressure can be raised with a fan, and the performance of an air conditioning apparatus can be improved.
In the present invention, since the outdoor unit is unnecessarily increased when the length separating portion moves away greatly from the fan, the distance between the long spacing portion and the fan, should be less than 500mm. Moreover, since accidentally get a hand the minimum width of the first opening of the long spacing are too large from the first opening to the fan side, in order to prevent this, the minimum width of the first aperture, 60 mm or less and should do It is. As for the second aperture that maximum width as a finger does not enter is smaller than 12 mm, and its the maximum width is too small since the air resistance by the fan near portion is increased, 3 mm or more the maximum width should do It is.
According to the present invention, it is possible to suppress the pressure loss due to the presence of the fan guard while ensuring the safety function of the fan guard to prevent contact with the fan. Can be improved.

<Operation of air conditioner>
Next, the operation of the air conditioner will be described.

(Fan guard structure)
The
More specifically, the
A large number of first openings OP <b> 1 are formed in the
On the other hand, the
Although the
As shown in FIG. 12, the
As described above, in the
Further, in the
Accordingly, in the

In addition, this self-diagnosis operation can be performed after repair or inspection, and can be used for checking whether or not the repair work is appropriate. In this case, it is possible to prevent repair failures such as incorrect thermistor attachment.

(A)
As shown in FIG. 12, it is preferable that the pair of motor support bases 63 have a structure that reduces the resistance to the air flow from the bottom to the top.
