被締結部材と樹脂製締結部品との間で線膨張の差による相対的な変位が生じる部位を締結具によって互いに締結する締結部品の締結方法であって、
上記締結具の締付方向の移動を規制するカラー部材と、該カラー部材を上記相対的な変位を吸収する方向に移動可能に収容する長孔とを有すると共に、側方から見たときにカラー部材が長孔を形成する周壁から突出するように該周壁と破断可能に一体成形された締結部品を用意し、
上記締結具を被締結部材に締結するときの押圧力で上記周壁とカラー部材との連結を破断し、
上記カラー部材を上記長孔内に収容した状態で締結部品を被締結部材に締結することを特徴とする締結部品の締結方法。
