Description
多重カテーテル装置が記載される。1の実施態様において、医療用カテーテル装置は、入口オリフィス、出口オリフィス、該入口オリフィスと該出口オリフィスとを結合する通路及び該通路を取り囲む壁とを有する第1カテーテルを含む。この実施態様において、該入口オリフィスの初期基準点から該出口オリフィスに向かうと考えると、該通路を取り囲む該壁の硬度が減少し、次いで増大し、次いで再び減少する。
図1は、本発明の実施態様に一致したガイド・イン・ガイド型カテーテル装置を示す側方斜視図である。図1において、外側カテーテル11がフラッシングライン12に流体結合されている。この外側カテーテル11は内側の管路又は通路16を有している。この管路又は通路16は図示のように中央カテーテル13を含有している。この中央カテーテル13、つまりこの実施態様においてはステアリング可能なカテーテルは、内側の管路又は通路17を有しており、複数のフラッシング・オリフィス15を含有している。これらのフラッシング・オリフィス15は、流体がこれらのオリフィスを通過するのを可能にするように寸法設定されている。中央カテーテル13の内側通路17内には、内側カテーテル14が配置されている。この内側カテーテル14は、注入カテーテルであってよい。この内側カテーテル14は、治療用物質のデリバリー及び組織のサンプリングを含む多数の処置を実施するために使用されることができる。
Claims (6)
- 医療用カテーテル装置であって:
入口オリフィス;
出口オリフィス;
該入口オリフィスと該出口オリフィスとを結合する通路;及び
該通路を取り囲む壁を有する第1カテーテルであって、ここで、該入口オリフィスの初期基準点から該出口オリフィスに向かって移動すると考えた場合、該通路を取り囲む該壁の硬度が、第1の別個の領域において硬度が減少し、次いで第2の別個の領域において硬度が増大し、次いで第3の別個の領域において硬度が減少し、該第3の領域の硬度が該第1の領域の硬度とは異なる第1カテーテル、および
該第1カテーテル内に位置する第2カテーテルであって、該第1カテーテルが該第2カテーテルをその中で移動することを可能にするように寸法設定され、該第2カテーテルが操縦可能であり、かつ曲げ可能な湾曲記憶部分を有する第2カテーテルを備え、
ここで、該第2カテーテルの曲げ可能な湾曲記憶部分が、紫外線光によって活性化される架橋ポリマーを含み、そして活性化されるとき、該湾曲記憶部分が所定の形状に形づくられる、医療用カテーテル装置。 - 該第2カテーテル内部に配置された第3カテーテルをさらに含み、該第3カテーテルが該第2カテーテル内部で移動するのを可能にするように、該第2カテーテルが寸法設定されている、請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル装置。
- 該第2カテーテルが複数のフラッシング・オリフィスを有しており、該第2カテーテルの外側表面から該第2カテーテルの内側表面に流体が通過するのを可能にするように、該フラッシング・オリフィスが寸法設定されている、請求項2に記載の医療用カテーテル装置。
- 該第2カテーテルの該曲げ可能な湾曲記憶部分が、紫外線によって活性化される架橋ポリマーを含有している、請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル装置。
- 該第2カテーテルの該曲げ可能な湾曲記憶部分が、第1の硬度を有する外層と、第2の硬度を有する内層とを含有しており、該第2の硬度が該第1の硬度よりも高い、請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル装置。
- 該第2カテーテルが、第1の硬度を有する外層と、第2の硬度を有する内層とを含有しており、該第2の硬度が該第1の硬度よりも高い、請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル装置。
