本発明は、コークス炉の上昇管部近傍の燃焼室内に発生した損傷部の観察や補修が行えるコークス炉の観察補修装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、コークス炉40は、図5に示すように、コークス炉40の中央近傍に炭化室42に石炭を供給するための貯炭装置41を設け、各炭化室42の両側には、炉幅方向に20〜30個の部屋に区画され、それぞれにフリュー孔43を有する燃焼室44を設けており、炭化室42とその両側の燃焼室44の組み合わせを一門として50〜60門が配置されている。
炭化室42に装入された石炭の乾留は、燃焼室44の熱が壁を通して炭化室42内の石炭に間接的に伝熱することによって行われる。
更に、炭化室42の一側端部に設けた上昇管45によって、乾留の際に発生する炭化室42内のコークス炉ガス(乾留ガス)を排気し、石炭の炭化の促進と副産物の回収を行っている。
このコークス炉40の主要部である炭化室42及び燃焼室44は、耐火煉瓦で構成されており、温度変化の大きい使用条件に加え、築造から30〜40年を経過するものが多く、燃焼室44を構成する耐火煉瓦には、目地切れが発生し、更に、燃焼室44から炭化室42に導通した亀裂も発生している。
その結果、炭化室42から燃焼室44への乾留ガスの洩れ等による黒煙の発生、あるいはコークス炉ガスが燃焼することによる損失、燃焼室44から炭化室42への燃焼排ガスの侵入による石炭の酸化等が生じる。
更に、耐火煉瓦の目地切れや亀裂を放置すれば、熱負荷に伴って耐火煉瓦の欠損や脱落が進行し、急激に劣化してコークス炉の寿命が大幅に低下する等の問題がある。
この対策として、特公平7−45666号公報に記載されているように、コークス炉の天井壁上面(上部)に設けたレール上に、コークス炉の長手方向に走行自在な移動台車を設け、この移動台車に炭化室の長手方向に走行する昇降台車と昇降ガイドを設け、昇降ガイドを介してテレビカメラを内蔵したランスを燃焼室内に昇降して壁面の欠陥を撮像し、この画像を基に、前記コークス炉の上部を同じように走行する別の移動台車に装備した補修用のランスを昇降して、炭化室内部から補修部位にプラズマ溶射を行うことが行われている。
更に、特公平7−45667号公報に記載されているように、コークス炉の燃焼室内に、炉内観察装置と耐火物の吹き付け装置を内蔵したランスを挿入し、観察された損傷部に吹き付け装置のノズルを用いてプラズマ溶射することが行われている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、特公平7−45666号公報、特公平7−45667号公報に記載された方法では、通常のコークス炉の長手方向に走行する台車がコークス炉の炭化室に設けた上昇管等が障害となり、例えば、図5の斜線で示した範囲のフリュー孔にランスを挿入することができず、燃焼室の内壁の観察と補修を行うことができない部分が生じる。
この対策として、炭化室側からの観察や補修を行うことも考えられるが、炭化室の壁は、内側に張り出す傾向があり、さらに耐火材の溶射等の補修を行って凸部を形成すると、乾留を行ったコークスの押し出し時に押し出し抵抗が増加し、極端な場合には押し出し不良が生じ、生産性の低下や操業の支障等を招く。
更に、燃焼室に発生した亀裂や目地切れを十分に補修できないため、コークス炉の劣化が進行して寿命低下となり、コークス炉の更新に多大の費用を要する等の問題がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的に沿う本発明のコークス炉の観察補修装置は、コークス炉の炉上に配置され、炉長方向に設置された軌条上を走行する走行台車に、炉幅方向に走行する横行台車を載置して該横行台車にランスの昇降台車を設け、該ランスの昇降台車が昇降ガイド内を昇降することにより、前記ランスを昇降して前記コークス炉の観察と補修を行う観察補修装置において、前記横行台車を炉幅方向に案内走行する台車延長ユニットを前記走行台車に着脱自在に連結している。
これにより、燃焼室を補修する際に、台車延長ユニットと走行台車を簡単に連結することができる。そして、横行台車が走行台車から台車延長ユニット上を乗り継いで走行し、例えば上昇管が障害となって通常の観察や補修ができないフリュー孔の観察と補修を可能にしてコークス炉の寿命延長を図ることができる。
しかも、短時間で、且つ簡単に台車延長ユニットを着脱するので、通常のコークス炉の操業への支障を回避することができ、作業効率が向上する。

図1に示すように、本発明の一実施の形態に係るコークス炉の観察補修装置10は、コークス炉11の長手方向の炉上に敷設された軌条12a、12b上を走行する走行台車13と、この走行台車13に連結可能な台車延長ユニット29と、走行台車13上をコークス炉11の幅方向に走行する横行台車14と、横行台車14に取付けられた昇降ガイド16と、この昇降ガイド16内をランスの一例である観察用の水冷ランス15を保持して昇降する昇降台車17を備えている。
走行台車13は、鋼鉄製の角材(フレーム)を連結して矩形状の平台に組んだ架台18を支柱19で支持し、その支柱19の下端に車輪20a、20bを軸支しており、図示しない電動機等の駆動装置によって軌条12a、12b上を走行するように設けている。
横行台車14には、図示しない駆動源に連結された車輪22よって、走行台車13に敷設された軌条21上を走行する鋼製の台車本体23が設けられており、台車本体23上には、一般に用いられている油圧シリンダの伸縮によって傾転する傾転台24(傾転装置の一例)が取付けられ、この傾転台24には、観察用の水冷ランス15の昇降を案内する昇降ガイド16を設けている。
昇降ガイド16は、図示しない溝型鋼(U型鋼)の溝を対向させて組んだ鋼鉄製のフレーム25aとフレーム25bからなるガイド枠25cを有し、このガイド枠25cの上端と下端にスプロケット22a、22bが取付けられている。
スプロケット22a、22bには、ラックの一例であるチェン26を噛み合わせて連結して無端軌道を形成している。フレーム25a内を移動するチェン26には昇降台車17を、反対側のフレーム25b内を移動するチェン26にはカウンターウェイト27を固定しており、昇降台車17が昇降ガイド16の上方位置にあるときにカウンターウェイト27が下方になるようにしている。

走行台車13に接合する台車延長ユニット29は、走行台車13の架台18と同じ幅を有し、コークス炉11の幅方向の長さが3〜5mの構造であり、図2、図3、図4に示すように、台車延長ユニット29の上側のユニットのフレーム32、下側のユニットのフレーム33の基端側にそれぞれ設けられた二股部32a、33bが走行台車13の架台18の上側先端部18aに設けたU字形の受け溝30と下側先端部18bに設けたU字形の受け溝31にそれぞれ嵌装され、受け溝30、二股部32a、上側先端部18aにそれぞれ穿ったピン孔34a、34c、34e、及び受け溝31、二股部33b、下側先端部18bにそれぞれ穿ったピン孔34b、34d、34fを重合させてピン35を差し込むことにより、前記台車延長ユニット29と走行台車13の架台18が固定される。
台車延長ユニット29の上面には、横行台車14の車輪22を走行案内する軌条21aが設けられている。
また、昇降台車17には、前述した観察用の水冷ランス15に替えて図示しない補修用の水冷ランスを設けることができ、この場合、観察用の水冷ランス15に用いた昇降ガイド16、昇降ガイド16を傾転する傾転台24、及び昇降ガイド16の上下にそれぞれ設けたスプロケット22a、22bに取付けたチェン26等をそのまま利用することができる。
補修用の水冷ランスとしては、ランスヘッドに、耐火材及びプロパンガスと酸素の供給系路がそれぞれカップリングを介して接続されており、前述した観察用の水冷ランス15と同様に燃焼室のフリュー孔37内に挿入され、旋回及び昇降するようにしている。
なお、符号36は炭化室の内部に発生した乾留ガスを排気するために炭化室の一端側に設けた上昇管である。

次に、本発明の一実施の形態に係るコークス炉の観察補修装置10の動作について説明する。
コークス炉11の長手方向の炉上に敷設された軌条12a、12b上を走行台車13を走らせて、フリュー孔列(通常一列に20〜30個)の位置に走行台車13の中心を合わせて走行台車13を停止する。

フリュー孔37と水冷ランス15の位置が決定したら、電動機を駆動してスプロケット22a、22bを回転させて無端軌道状のチェン26を送って、昇降台車17を下降させ、同時に昇降台車17に保持された水冷ランス15を下降させて所定の深さに位置に水冷ランス15を停止させる。
この時、カウンターウェイト27は、昇降台車17の下降距離と同じ距離を上昇して停止する。
そして、水冷ランス15に内蔵した図示しないCCDカメラにより、コークス炉11の幅方向に設けられたフリュー孔列の各フリュー孔37内の表面に発生した亀裂や目地切れの有無を観察する。
上昇管36近傍になると、横行台車14に取付けられた昇降台車17が上昇管36と干渉し合って、PS(コークス押し出し)側の2〜4個のフリュー孔37内に観察用の水冷ランス15を挿入することができなくなるので、燃焼室11のフリュー孔37内を観察する際に、上昇管36を図示しないフランジ部から切り離し、コークス炉11の本体から取外す。
そして、上面に軌条21aを備えた台車延長ユニット29の基端側に設けられた二股部32a、33bを走行台車13の上側先端部18aの受け溝30及び下側先端部18bの受け溝31に嵌装し、ピン35を差して固定し、軌条21と軌条21aとを接続する。
架台18の軌条21を走行していた横行台車14は、台車延長ユニット29の軌条21a上に乗り継いで、上昇管36が障害物となって観察不可能であったフリュー孔37に近接し、前記の観察と同様に、昇降台車17を下降させて水冷ランス15をフリュー孔37の所定の位置に停止し、フリュー孔37内の表面に発生した亀裂や目地切れの有無を観察することができる。
