Description
そこで本発明は、コアの隅部における偏平チューブの亀裂を効果的に防止することを課題とする。
夫々の偏平チューブ(1) の両端部が一対のタンク(4) に液密に連通され、
前記コア(3) の平面の隅部に位置する複数の偏平チューブ(1) の端部のみが、同一のプレートフィン(5) の各チューブ挿通孔(6) に夫々挿通されて、隣接する偏平チューブ(1) どうしが互いにそのプレートフィン(5) を介して連結された補強部(7) を有することを特徴とするコルゲートフィン型熱交換器である。
前記コア(3) の四隅部に前記補強部(7) が夫々形成されたコルゲートフィン型熱交換器である。
図1は本発明のコルゲートフィン型熱交換器の正面図であり、図2は図1のII−II矢視拡大図である。
この例のコルゲートフィン型熱交換器は、エンジン冷却水冷却用のものであり、偏平チューブ1とコルゲートフィン2とからなるコア3の上下に一対のタンク4が配置されたものである。
このようなコルゲートフィン型熱交換器において、コア3の四隅部にはコルゲートフィン2が配置されず、それに代えて複数のプレートフィン5が夫々配置されている。即ち、この例では3列分のチューブ挿通孔6を有するプレートフィン5に夫々偏平チューブ1の端部のみが挿通されている。四隅部におけるプレートフィン5は、複数枚互いに離間して配置されている。
なお、このコア3の中央部にはファン8が設けられ、偏平チューブ1およびコルゲートフィン2の外面側に冷却風を流通させている。

Claims (2)
- 並列された多数の偏平チューブ(1) と、各偏平チューブ(1) 間に設けられた多数のコルゲートフィン(2) と、によりコア(3) が形成され、
夫々の偏平チューブ(1) の両端部が一対のタンク(4) に液密に連通され、
前記コア(3) の平面の隅部に位置する複数の偏平チューブ(1) の端部のみが、同一のプレートフィン(5) の各チューブ挿通孔(6) に夫々挿通されて、隣接する偏平チューブ(1) どうしが互いにそのプレートフィン(5) を介して連結された補強部(7) を有することを特徴とするコルゲートフィン型熱交換器。 - 請求項1において、
前記コア(3) の四隅部に前記補強部(7) が夫々形成されたコルゲートフィン型熱交換器。
