Claims (4)
- 鋳物製品を鋳造するための空洞部である鋳造キャビティが内部に画設されている鋳型において、
前記鋳造キャビティの形状を象るようにその鋳造キャビティの周囲に所定厚みで形成されるキャビティ隔壁と、そのキャビティ隔壁と連設され鋳型の外殻をなす所定厚みの鋳型外壁と、その鋳型外壁と前記キャビティ隔壁との間に設けられる空間である鋳型中空部と、その鋳型中空部内のうち、前記キャビティ隔壁に隣接する任意の一部空間を、その鋳型中空部内の他部空間から局所的に隔絶する局所隔壁とを有する鋳型本体と、
その鋳型本体における前記鋳型中空部内に充填される充填材が固められることで、前記鋳型本体より高強度となってその鋳型本体と一体化されるとともに、前記局所隔壁により隔絶される前記一部空間と前記他部空間とで充填材が異なるものである鋳型補強体とを備えていることを特徴とする鋳型。 - 前記鋳型本体は、石膏系材料を主成分とする素材で形成されるものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の鋳型。
- 前記鋳型補強体を形成する充填材は、前記鋳型中空部内に充填されて硬化されることで前記鋳型本体と一体化されて前記鋳型本体よりも高強度となる樹脂被覆砂粒や自硬性鋳物砂などの造形砂であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の鋳型。
- 前記鋳型本体は、ラピッドプロトタイピング(rapid-prototyping)方法によって製造されるものであることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の鋳型。
