【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、ネットワークを介してユーザー端末に発信された商品またはサービスに関するオンライン広告に対して、ユーザーが前記商品等を発注するシステム及び方法、前記システムに用いられる受注管理サーバーとその動作方法、端末用装置、データ書き込み装置及び読み取り装置、プログラム並びに記録媒体に関する。

【従来の技術】
一般に、商品情報やサービス情報を得る機会としては、提供側にてこれらの情報を紙に印刷し、これを新聞などに挿入して各家庭に配達されてきたものを閲覧することによる場合が最もポピュラーであった。しかし、このような方式だけでは、提供側にて選択された情報しか得ることができないので、商品情報等をより幅広く得るためには、各店に出向いて行かざるを得なかった。

しかし、近年、インターネット等のネットワークの普及により、所望の商品情報やサービス情報にオンラインでアクセスしてその閲覧や確認を容易に行うことができるようになっている。このような方法により、関心のある情報を簡単に探索できる。

ところで、オンラインでアクセスした広告情報に基づいて、商品を購入するかどうかあるいはサービスを利用するかどうかを決定する場合、画面表示では読みづらいとか、２画面以上にわたる場合はスクロールが必要で面倒である、というような理由により、その広告情報をプリンタで紙面に印刷して検討することが多い。

さらに、探索している段階で、複数の候補となる情報を抽出した場合などには、これらを保存設定しておき、後からこれを再度読み出して比較検討するこちが行われるが、この場合も、保存・読み出しという手順が煩わしかったり、比較検討しずらいという理由から、その広告情報をプリンタで紙面に印刷することが多い。

特に決定に慎重さを要する場合や、情報量が多い場合、あるいは第三者に意見を求める場合等においては、じっくりと検討したり第三者に見せるためにも、紙面への印刷が行われている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、プリンタによる印刷では、紙やトナー等の消耗品を消耗することになり、その費用が発生してしまう。あるいは印刷モードの設定によって、費用が発生することもある。そのため、商品やサービスの情報内容には関心があっても、詳細な検討のために印刷することには抵抗感が生じる場合があり、この場合には、情報の提供側にとっては販売機会の損失にもつながってしまう。従って、このような印刷コストを、例えばユーザーが商品の購入やサービスの利用を決定した場合には、商品やサービスの提供側で負担できるようにすれば、ユーザーの商品購買意欲やサービス利用意欲を刺激する一因になり、販売促進効果の点から望ましい。

なお、特開２０００−６７３１２号公報には、インターネット等によるオンライン広告をパーソナルコンピュータなどの表示画面上で閲覧することにより、電子クーポンを発行するシステムが提案されている。また、特開平９−１１４７５５号公報には、インターネット等による情報の利用時に、パーソナルコンピュータなどの表示画面に広告を表示させるかどうか、表示させる場合にはどの広告を表示させるかを、それぞれユーザーが選択可能となっており、選択し表示された広告に応じて、インターネットの通信料金の一部を値引くシステムが提案されている。

しかしながら、これらのシステムは、オンラインで提供される広告情報を印刷した場合に、印刷コストを商品やサービスの提供側で負担するものではなかった。

この発明は、このような技術的背景に鑑みてなされたものであって、オンラインで提供される広告情報をプリンタで印刷した場合に、印刷コストを商品やサービスの提供側で負担することができる、オンライン広告された商品等の発注システム及び方法、前記システムに用いられる受注管理サーバーとその動作方法、端末用装置、データ書き込み装置及び読み出し装置、プログラム並びに記録媒体を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題は、商品またはサービスに関する広告情報を発信する広告情報発信サーバーと、受注管理サーバーと、前記広告情報発信サーバー及び受注管理サーバーにネットワークを介して接続されたユーザー端末と、ユーザー端末に接続されたプリンタとを備えた、オンライン広告された商品等の発注システムであって、前記ユーザー端末は、商品またはサービス提供者の前記広告情報発信サーバー上のアドレスにアクセスすることにより、広告情報を取得する広告情報取得手段と、前記取得した広告情報を表示するとともに、商品またはサービスの発注入力画面を表示する表示手段と、前記表示手段に表示された広告情報が、前記プリンタで印刷されたか否かを判断する印刷判断手段と、印刷判断手段により前記広告情報が印刷されたと判断された場合には、前記印刷された広告情報の提供先である前記アドレス及び印刷に要したコストを把握するための印刷コスト情報を前記受注管理サーバーに送信するとともに、ユーザが前記表示手段に表示された発注入力画面から商品またはサービスの発注入力を行った場合には、発注情報、発注入力画面のアドレス及び発注コスト情報を前記受注管理サーバーに送信する送信手段と、を備え、前記受注管理サーバーは、前記ユーザー端末から送信された前記広告情報提供先のアドレス、印刷コスト情報、発注情報、発注入力画面のアドレス及び発注コスト情報を受信する受信手段と、前記受信した広告情報提供先のアドレス、印刷コスト情報、発注情報、発注入力画面のアドレス及び発注コスト情報を記憶する記憶手段と、前記記憶された発注入力画面のアドレスと広告情報の提供先であるアドレスとを比較する比較手段と、比較手段により両アドレスが一致した場合には、前記発注コスト情報で示される発注コストから、前記印刷コスト情報から把握される印刷に要したコストを差し引く演算手段と、を備えたことを特徴とするオンライン広告された商品等の発注システム によって解決される。

この発注システムでは、広告情報発信サーバーから発信された商品またはサービスに関する広告情報をユーザー端末で閲覧したユーザーが、広告情報をプリンタで印刷した場合には、印刷判断手段により広告情報が印刷されたことが判断される。そして、印刷された広告情報の提供先のアドレス及び印刷に要したコストを把握するための印刷コスト情報が受注管理サーバーに送信されるとともに、ユーザが表示手段に表示された発注入力画面から商品またはサービスの発注入力を行った場合には、発注情報、発注入力画面のアドレス及び発注コスト情報が前記受注管理サーバーに送信される。
