本発明は、洗濯兼脱水槽に液体洗剤を投入する洗剤自動投入装置を装着可能とした洗濯機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、洗濯機は、図9に示すように構成していた。以下、その構成について説明する。

図9に示すように、洗濯兼脱水槽1は、底面に撹拌翼2を回転自在に配設し、この洗濯兼脱水槽1の外側に外槽3を設けている。外槽3の底面には洗濯兼脱水槽1と撹拌翼2を駆動するモータ4を取りつけ、駆動部の切り替えを行うクラッチ装置5を介して洗濯兼脱水槽1または撹拌翼2を駆動するように構成している。また、外槽3は、洗濯機本体6にサスペンション7を介して防振支持している。洗濯兼脱水槽1の上部には、液体を内封した流体バランサー8を固定し、外槽3の上面は、外槽カバー9によって覆われている。

このような従来の構成では、デザイン性を失わないために洗剤タンク16の液体洗剤15を入れるための補給口17を塞ぐキャップ18を蓋体14により覆う構成とするため、蓋体14が大きなものとなってしまうとともに、衣類等の洗濯物を洗濯兼脱水槽1内に投入するとき、毎回キャップ18が見えてしまい、デザイン性に欠けてしまっていた。
