Claims (18)
- マルチノード環境のためのシステムであって、
第1のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられた第1のノードと、
第2のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられた第2のノードであって、該第2のオペレーティングシステムが、前記第1のオペレーティングシステムから独立していることからなる、第2のノードと、
ストレージと、
前記第1のノードと前記ストレージとを結合させると共に、前記第2のノードと前記ストレージとを結合させる、相互接続
とを備え、
前記第1のノードが、前記ストレージに直接的にアクセスし、前記第2のノードが、前記ストレージに直接的にアクセスし、前記第1のノードと前記第2のノードとが、グループメンバーシップに関連付けられており、前記ストレージ内に構築されるロック機能に依存することなく前記ストレージの少なくとも同じ部分を前記第1のノードと前記第2のノードとが共有し、前記ストレージに対する第3のノードのアクセスをアドミニストレータのノードが許可する時には、前記相互接続によって、該第3のノードが前記グループメンバーシップに追加されることが可能となるように該相互接続が構成されており、
前記アドミニストレータのノードは、前記第1のノードか、前記第2のノードか、又は前記第3のノードを含み、
前記グループメンバーシップは、複数サーバのグループを形成する協調した1組の処理プログラムであることからなる、システム。 - 前記第1のオペレーティングシステムは、前記第2のオペレーティングシステムとは異なるオペレーティングシステムである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ストレージが、コヒーレントな共有ファイルストレージである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記相互接続は、共有ディスク相互接続である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のノードが、動的に分離され、もはや前記ストレージに直接的にアクセスしない、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 動的に追加される第2のストレージを更に備え、それにより、前記第1及び第2のノードによって該第2のストレージが直接的にアクセスされることが可能になることからなる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 第2のストレージを更に備え、
前記第2のストレージが、前記第1及び第2のノードによって直接的にアクセスされることが可能であり、
前記第2のストレージが、前記第1及び第2のノードから動的に分離され、それにより、該第2のストレージが、該第1及び第2のノードによって直接的にアクセスされることが不可能になることからなる、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - マルチノード環境のためのシステムであって、
グループメンバーシップに関連付けられた第1のノードであって、第1のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられている、第1のノードと、
前記グループメンバーシップに関連付けられた第2のノードであって、該第2のノードが第2のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられており、該第2のオペレーティングシステムが前記第1のオペレーティングシステムから独立していることからなる、第2のノードと、
前記第1及び第2のノードに結合されたストレージであって、該第1のノード及び第2のノードによって直接的にアクセスされることが可能であるようになっている、ストレージ
とを備え、
前記グループメンバーシップが変更されたか否かを判定するよう前記第1のノードが構成されており、
前記グループメンバーシップは、複数サーバのグループを形成する協調した1組の処理プログラムであることからなる、システム。 - 前記第1のノードが、前記グループメンバーシップの前記変更に動的に対応する、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- マルチノード環境を管理するための方法であって、
第1のノードをグループメンバーシップに関連付け、
第2のノードを前記グループメンバーシップに関連付け、
前記グループメンバーシップが変更されたか否かを判定し、及び、
前記グループメンバーシップの前記変更に動的に対応する
ことを含み、
前記第1のノードが第1のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられており、
前記第1のノードはストレージに直接的にアクセスし、
前記第2のノードが第2のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられており、
前記第2のオペレーティングシステムは前記第1のオペレーティングシステムから独立しており、
前記第2のノードは前記ストレージに直接的にアクセスし、
前記グループメンバーシップが、通信グループを形成する協調した1組の処理プログラムであることからなる、方法。 - 前記第1のオペレーティングシステムが、前記第2のオペレーティングシステムとは異なるオペレーティングシステムであることからなる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記グループメンバーシップに第3のノードが追加されることによって、前記グループメンバーシップが変更されることからなる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記第3のノードが、前記グループメンバーシップに関連付けられており、
前記グループメンバーシップから前記第3のノードが削除されることによって前記グループメンバーシップが変更されることからなる、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記グループメンバーシップが変更された場合に、回復を実行する必要があるか否かを判定することを更に含むことからなる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記グループメンバーシップが変更された場合に回復が必要であれば、ロックを回復することを更に含むことからなる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記グループメンバーシップが変更された場合に新規のロックの許可を停止することを更に含むことからなる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- マルチノード環境に関連付けられるよう構成された第1のノードのためのシステムであって、
第1のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられるよう構成されたプロセッサであって、該第1のオペレーティングシステムは、第2のノードの第2のオペレーティングシステムから独立しており、該プロセッサは、グループメンバーシップが変更されたか否かを判定することが可能となるように更に構成されており、該グループメンバーシップは、前記第1のノード及び前記第2のノードに関連付けられており、前記プロセッサは、該グループメンバーシップの前記変更に動的に対応することが可能となるようにも構成されていることからなる、プロセッサと、
前記プロセッサに結合されたストレージであって、前記プロセッサによって直接的にアクセスされるよう構成されていると共に、前記第2のノードによって直接的にアクセスされるようにも構成されている、ストレージ
とを備え、
前記グループメンバーシップは、複数サーバのグループを形成する協調した1組の処理プログラムであることからなる、システム。 - マルチノード環境に関連付けられるよう構成された第1のノードのためのコンピュータプログラムであって、コンピュータ可読媒体内において組み込まれている該コンピュータプログラムが、
グループメンバーシップが変更されたか否かを判定し、
前記グループメンバーシップの前記変更に動的に対応し、及び、
ストレージに直接的にアクセスする
ためのコンピュータ命令を含み、
前記グループメンバーシップが、通信グループを形成する協調した1組の処理プログラムであり、前記第1のノード及び第2のノードに関連付けられており、
前記第1のノードが、第1のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられており、前記第2のノードが、第2のオペレーティングシステムに関連付けられており、
前記第1のオペレーティングシステムは、前記第2のオペレーティングシステムから独立しており、
前記ストレージが、前記第2のノードによって直接的にアクセスされることも可能であることからなる、コンピュータプログラム。
