Description
本出願は、2001年11月8日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/337,045号の特典を請求するものである。
好ましい実施形態の囲い込み吸引システムは、
a)超音波プローブを囲む吸引管と、
b)超音波ハンドピースを囲む容器、好ましい実施形態では、2部品容器と
の2つの部品からなっている。
患者の安全性が増す(皮膚の炎症および皮膚の壊死の危険が最小限に抑えられる)。
超音波エネルギーを長時間または静的に付加している間であっても、患者の安全性が確保される。
1回のセッションでより大量の脂肪組織(3リットルから10リットル)を除去/吸引する能力を含む効率が、既存の脂肪吸引技術と比べて高い。
皮下脂肪を対象とした組織特異性が高い。
血管外傷および/または出血・失血が少ない。
血管、神経、結合組織を含む脂肪の周辺の構造への損傷がほとんどない、または全くない。
(皮膚表面により近い)表面組織層を安全に治療する能力がより高く、それによって皮膚の萎縮/収縮/引締が良くなる。
より多くの患者の身体の解剖学領域を安全かつ効果的に治療できることにより、スカルプチュア性や所望の美的結果が良くなる。
生じうるフリーラジカルの大部分を同時に真空引きする。
外科医の疲労が少なくなる。
騒音と振動が最小限に抑えられる。
従来の吸引力補助式脂肪吸引(「SAL」)や従来の形の超音波補助式の脂肪吸引と比べて、全動作時間が少なくなる。
外科医の学習曲線が短い。
Claims (20)
- 超音波振動器に結合された近位端および遠位端を有する超音波プローブを備える超音波振動器で使用されるアダプタにおいて、
超音波振動器が取り付けられ、それに対して配置されるハンドピース・アセンブリであって、ハンドピース・アセンブリと超音波振動器の間に超音波プローブの近位端に隣接する第1の流体チャンバを区画するために、超音波振動器とプローブに関して密封を行うシール、第1のチャンバと流体連通するように結合され、吸引ユニットに連結されるようになっている吸引用コンジット、さらに第1のチャンバを調節可能に通気するように、第1のチャンバと流体連通している減圧開口を有するハンドピース・アセンブリと、
ハンドピース・アセンブリに結合され、超音波プローブの遠位端を含む、超音波プローブの上に延びると共に、真空排気管とプローブの間に第1のチャンバと流体連通している流体通路を区画する真空排気管と
を備え、
プローブの遠位端と真空排気管の遠位端の間の空間が脂肪組織を液化および/または破壊させる第2のチャンバとなり、真空排気管がその遠位端に第2のチャンバと流体連通している少なくとも1つの開口を有するアダプタ。 - 真空排気管の遠位端が、その中心に開口を備えて丸みを帯びている請求項1に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管のハンドピース・アセンブリへの結合が、プローブの遠位端と真空排気管の遠位端の間の距離を調節するように調節可能である請求項2に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管がハンドピース・アセンブリにねじ込まれており、プローブの遠位端と真空排気管の遠位端の間の距離を、ハンドピース・アセンブリに対して真空排気管を回転させることにより調節することができる請求項3に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管の遠位端の開口が丸い請求項3に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管の遠位端の開口が矩形である請求項3に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管が、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン真空排気管である請求項3に記載のアダプタ。
- ハンドピース・アセンブリが、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンである請求項7に記載のアダプタ。
- ハンドピース・アセンブリが、2部品アセンブリである請求項1に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管が、その遠位端に第2のチャンバと流体連通している複数の開口を有する請求項1に記載のアダプタ。
- 超音波補助式脂肪吸引器具において、
超音波振動器に結合された近位端と遠位端を有する超音波プローブを備える超音波振動器と、
超音波振動器が取り付けられ、それに対して配置されるハンドピース・アセンブリであって、ハンドピース・アセンブリと超音波振動器の間に超音波プローブの近位端に隣接する第1の流体チャンバを区画するために、超音波振動器とプローブに関して密封を行なうシール、第1のチャンバと流体連通するように結合され、吸引ユニットに連結される吸引通路、さらに第1のチャンバを調節可能に通気するように、第1のチャンバと流体連通している減圧開口を有するハンドピース・アセンブリと、
ハンドピース・アセンブリに結合され、超音波プローブの遠位端を含めて超音波プローブの上に延びると共に、真空排気管とプローブの間に第1のチャンバと流体連通している流体通路を形成する真空排気管と
を備え、
プローブの遠位端と真空排気管の遠位端の間の空間が脂肪組織を液化および/または破壊させる第2のチャンバとなり、真空排気管がその遠位端に第2のチャンバと流体連通している少なくとも1つの開口を有する器具。 - 真空排気管の遠位端が、その中心に開口を備えて丸みを帯びている請求項11に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管のハンドピース・アセンブリへの結合が、プローブの遠位端と真空排気管の遠位端の間の距離を調節するように調節可能である請求項12に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管がハンドピース・アセンブリにねじ込まれており、プローブの遠位端と真空排気管の遠位端の間の距離を、ハンドピース・アセンブリに対して真空排気管を回転させることにより調節することができる請求項13に記載のアダプタ。
- 真空排気管の遠位端の開口が丸い請求項13に記載のアダプタ。
