【従来の技術】
洋風便器に温水洗浄装置を設置する場合に、便器の後部上面に便座ボックスを設置することが多い。この便座ボックス内に温水を噴出するためのノズル及び温水供給機構が組み込まれると共に、さらに温風乾燥機構、脱臭機構などが組み込まれることもある。この便座ボックスに便座や、通常は更に便蓋が上下方向回動自在に取り付けられる。この便座ボックスの洋風便器への従来の取付構造について図３〜７を参照して説明する。なお、図６は図４のVI−VI線に沿う断面図、図７は図６のVII−VII線に沿う断面図である。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の便座ボックスの取付構造は、便座ボックスが洋風便器の後部上面に設置され、ボルト及びナットによって固定された便座ボックスの取付構造であって、該ボルトは、外管と、該外管に螺合しており該外管の上端部から上方へ螺進可能な軸体とを備えており、該外管の上端にボルトの頭部が設けられており、該便座ボックスは、底部プレートに洋風便器前後方向に延在する該ボルトの挿通用のスリットが設けられ、該スリットに対峙して、該軸体の上端が当接する当接板が設けられており、該ボルトが該スリットに装着されて該洋風便器のボルト挿通孔に通され、該外管に該ナットが締め込まれており、前記ボルトの頭部が前記スリットの縁部を上方から押え付け、前記軸体の上端が前記当接板に押し付けられ、該軸体が該底部プレートと該当接板との間で突っ張った状態となっていることを特徴とするものである。
また、本願発明の便座ボックスの取付方法は、上記発明の便座ボックスの取付構造とするための便座ボックスの取付方法であって、該便座ボックスを洋風便器の上面に載せ、前記ボルトを便器の便座ボックス固定用ボルト挿通孔に通し、該ボルトの前記外管にナットを締め込み、該ボルトの頭部で便座ボックスの底部プレートのスリットの両縁部を押えつけ、その後、前記軸体を回して上方に螺進させ、その上端を当接板に押し当てることを特徴とするものである。
