ール当たり600〜800リットルの施用量(換算)で、覆土の表面に施用する。施用直後の数日までに、試験コンテナを土壌表面の上30mmの深さまで浸水させる。これに対して冠水施用の場合は、閉鎖した試験コンテナ中の土壌は、施用の時点で既に深さ30mmまでの水田水で覆われている。この場合、処方した活性成分を水田水に、例えば顆粒の形態で直接に加える。処理したのち、ポットを温室に入れ、雑草にとって良好な成長条件下で保持する。3〜4週間の実験期間後に試験植物が発芽したのち、植物損傷または発芽への悪影響の肉眼採点を未処理コントロールと比較して行う。試験結果により示されるように、本発明に係る組成物は、広範囲の細葉雑草および広葉雑草に対して顕著な発生前処理除草作用を有する。しばしば、除草剤を個々に施用した場合の効果の形式的合計を超える、本発明に係る組み合わせの効果が観察される。適切な低用量を用いる場合、実験で観察される値は、コルビイの式 (Colby's formula) を用いて計算した期待値を超える組み合わせ効果を示す。

農作物植物を、野外の小区画で自然のフィールド条件下で成長させ、代表的な有害植物の種子または根分節を植え付けておき、自然の雑草植物相を利用した。本発明に係る組成物での処理を噴霧施用または冠水施用として、有害植物および農作物植物が発生したのち、原則として2〜4葉期に行った;若干の場合に(上記のとおり)、個々の活性成分または活性成分組み合わせを、発生前処理で施用したか、または一部は発生前および/または発生後に逐次的処理として施用した。施用ののち、例えば施用後2、4、6および8週間に、調製物の効果を未処理コントロールと比較して肉眼で採点した(採点については実施例1参照)。本発明に係る組成物は、フィールド実験においても、広範囲の経済上重要な細葉雑草および広葉雑草に対して相乗的除草活性を有する。この比較は、本発明に係る組み合わせが、大部分の場合に個々の除草剤の効果の合計よりも強力な除草作用、若干の場合にはかなり強力な除草作用を有することを示したので、相乗作用を示唆している。さらに、この採点期間の重要な部分中の効果は、コルビイの式を用いて計算した期待値を超えたので、同様に相乗作用を示唆している。これに対して農作物植物は、除草剤組成物で処理した結果として、無障害または実際上無傷害のままであった。

Claims (5)
- 有効量の、
A)式(Ia)の化合物またはその農業慣用塩[成分(A)]
〔式中、
R3は塩素であり;R4はSO2CH3であり;R5は2−テトラヒドロフラニルメトキシである〕および
B)除草剤ベンスルフロン、ビスピリバク−ナトリウム、クロマゾン、シハロフォプ−ブチル、フェノキサプロプ−エチル、グルフォシネート、グリホセート、ハロスルフロン−メチル、イマゼタピル、メフェナセト、メトスラム、オキサジクロメフォン、ペンジメタリン、プロパニル、キンクロラクおよびチオベンカルブからなる群から選択された少なくとも1種の化合物[成分(B)]
を含む除草剤組成物であって、成分(A)および成分(B)を1:2000〜2000:1の重量比で含むことを特徴とする除草剤組成物。 - 組み合わせた成分(A)および成分(B)の重量比A:Bが1:20〜20:1の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の除草剤組成物。
- 0.1〜99重量%の成分(A)および成分(B)、および99〜0.1重量%の農作物保護に常用される処方助剤を含む、請求項1または2に記載の除草剤組成物。
- 成分(A)を1種またはそれ以上の成分(B)と一緒に、有害植物、その植物部分または耕作地に施用することを含み、成分(A)および成分(B)の組み合わせが請求項1〜3の何れかで定義したとおりである、望ましくない植生の防除方法。
- 成分(A)および成分(B)の組み合わせが請求項1〜3の何れかで定義したとおりである、望ましくない植生を防除するための除草剤組成物としての成分(A)および成分(B)の組み合わせの使用。
