Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle door structure formed with an intermediate window portion below a window portion.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In automobiles (vehicles), visibility on the side of the vehicle body is required to improve safety.
[0003]
Therefore, a technique for increasing the window area of the automobile door has been proposed. In this technology, among the upper ends of the door panel part with the built-in lifting window, the front side of the upper end part outside the vehicle sandwiching the lifting window is made a large step so as to be lower than other parts, and this step forms a wall shape outside. There is a technique in which an opening is formed in the exposed panel portion on the vehicle interior side so that the side of the door can be visually recognized from the inside of the vehicle through the opening (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0004]

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, normally, when the raising / lowering window of the vehicle door is at the lowest lowered position, the upper edge of the raising / lowering window is covered with the upper end of the door panel.
[0006]
However, in the structure in which the window area is enlarged by using the step structure as described above, the outside part of the passenger compartment at the upper end portion of the door panel is stepped. The upper edge of is exposed outside the vehicle as it is. That is, the upper edge of the lifting window is exposed to the outside.
[0007]
For this reason, when the window is stored, an object is likely to come into contact with the upper edge of the lifting window from the outside. In particular, since most of the elevating window is made of a glass member, the upper edge of the elevating window may be damaged by an applied impact or load.
[0008]
In addition, the structure of the door panel that has a stepped outer part at the upper end of the door panel is required to suppress the exposure of the upper edge of the lifting window. It is necessary to reduce the area of the opening under the window to improve the visibility, and it is difficult to achieve both visibility.
[0009]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle door structure that can achieve both prevention of breakage of an elevating window and securing sufficient visibility of a side of a door.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]

A door body configured to have a window frame portion that forms a window portion by arm portions provided at the front portion and the rear portion, and an intermediate window formed by cutting out the upper end portion of the door panel portion between the arm portions. And the door panel portion are provided so as to be movable up and down, and the upper edge portion is at the lowest position at a position between the intermediate window portion and the window portion, and from this lowest position to the highest position at which the window portion is closed. An elevator window that moves up and down, and an upper edge of the elevator window that is provided between the arm portions of the window frame portion and located at the lowest position, respectively, covers the window portion and the window Up and down the middle window A partition portion for partitioning, employs a structure comprising a.
[0011]
With this configuration, the upper edge of the elevator window when the elevator window is at its lowest position is protected by the partition, both the upper edge on the passenger compartment side and the upper edge on the outer side of the passenger compartment. The edge does not come into contact with an external object. Moreover, since the window area of the intermediate window portion can be independently determined by forming the partition portion, the window area can be enlarged. That is, the visibility on the side of the door is improved together with prevention of window breakage.
