Description
発泡外層を伴う多層管状物が、欧州特許第1053866号に開示されている。この文献は、ポリアミドにより構成される第1の層と、フルオロポリマにより構成される第2の層を有する管状物を開示している。中間層は第1の層と第2の層間に挿入された多層形態を有するポリマアロイである。異なる多層管状物が、米国特許第5,891,373号に開示されている。この構造において、接着混合物である2つの個別の層が、第1の層と第2の層間に挿入される。2つの接着層の各々は、近接する層に接着されるように形成されている。効果的な積層は、このような進展にもかかわらず問題がある。

厳選されたテトラフルオロエチレンコポリマ(ETFE)は、溶融温度が270℃ないし約560℃の間であり、また比重が1.7である。ここで使用されたエチレンテトラフルオロエチレンコポリマは、テトラフルオロエチレンによるエチレンの共重合化から誘導されるのが好ましい。好ましいポリマ化物質は、独占物質の少量を伴う総ポリマ重量の約40%ないし約70%のエチレン誘導含有量と、約30%ないし約60%のテトラフルオロエチレン含有量を有している。適切な物質は、デラウェア州ウィルミントン(Wilmington,Delaware)のE.I.デュポン・ドゥ・ヌムール・アンド・カンパニー(E.I duPont de Nemours,Co.)から商標名「TEFZEL」で市販されている。
これまでの説明は、管状物10内を搬送される流体に近接するか、これと接触する内側バリア層の位置付けに向けられていたが、管状物10の置かれる特定使用に依存して熱可塑性層の半径方向順が反転されるものは、この特定発明の範囲内にある。従って、適切な状況において、バリア層は、外方向に向けられ外部から内部への浸透を最少にする。

- 溶融処理可能な第1の熱可塑性物質により形成され、前記溶融処理可能な第1の熱可塑性物質はポリアミド、熱可塑性エラストマおよびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される筒状の第1の層と、
フッ素樹脂からなる、溶融処理可能な第2の熱可塑性物質により形成され、前記溶融処理可能な第2の熱可塑性物質は、前記第1の熱可塑性物質とは化学的に非類似である筒状の第2の層と、
前記第1の層と第2の層間に積層するように挿入された中間層とを具備し、
この中間層は、固化される溶融処理可能な熱可塑性溶液により形成され、この熱可塑性溶液は、前記第1の熱可塑性物質と前記第2の熱可塑性物質とからなり、
この中間層の、少なくとも1種の熱可塑性物質が、他の種類の熱可塑性物質からなるマトリクス内に連続して個別に分布された要素として存在し、
また、前記熱可塑性溶液は、前記第1の層側の領域の前記第1の熱可塑性物質の濃度が高く、前記第2の層側の領域の前記第1の熱可塑性物質の濃度が低くなるように、中間層の厚さ方向に沿って分散勾配を有している、多層管状物。 - 前記溶融処理可能な第1の熱可塑性物質のポリアミドは、ポリアミド6、ポリアミド6.6、ポリアミド11、ポリアミド12およびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される、請求項1に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記フッ素樹脂は、ポリビニリデンフッ化物、ポリビニルフッ化物、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン、エチレンテトラフルオロエチレンコポリマおよびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される、請求項1もしくは2に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記第1の熱可塑性物質は、エチレンテトラフロオロエチレンコポリマ、ポリビニリデンフッ化物、ポリビニルフッ化物およびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記中間層に使用される熱可塑性物質は、
10重量%ないし90重量%のフッ素樹脂と、
10重量%ないし90重量%のポリアミドからなる、請求項1ないし4のいずれか1に記載の多層管状物。 - 前記中間層の前記フッ素樹脂は、60重量%ないし70重量%であり、前記ポリアミドは、30重量%ないし40重量%である、請求項5に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記中間層のポリアミドは、不均質状態で前記中間層のフッ素樹脂内に分布される、請求項6に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記第1の層は、ポリアミドにより構成され、また前記中間層の溶融処理可能な第1の熱可塑性物質は、ポリアミドであり、中間層の厚さ全体に渡って、ポリアミド濃度が前記第1の層近傍で高くなっている濃度勾配を有する、請求項1に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記フッ素樹脂は、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、過フッ化エチレン−プロピレン、過フルオロアルコキシフルオロカーボン樹脂、テトラフルオロエチレン−過フルオロビニルエーテル、エチレンテトラフルオロエチレン(ETFE)、テトラフルオロエチレンとヘキサフルオロプロピレンのコポリマ、ポリビニリデンフッ化物(PVDF)、ポリビニリデンフッ化物によってコポリマ化されたビニリデンジフルオライドとクロロトリフルオロエタンのポリビニルフッ化物コポリマ、ポリビニルフッ化物でコポリマ化されたビニリデンジフルオライドとクロロトリフルオロエタンのコポリマ、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン、ビニリデンフッ化物およびクロロトリフルオロエタンのコポリマのようなフッ化物含有ポリマを有するグラフトコポリマ、ビニルフッ化物およびクロロトリフルオロエチレンのコポリマおよびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される、請求項2に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記第2の層は、ポリビニリデンフッ化物、エチレンテトラフルオロエチレンおよびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択されるフルオロポリマ物質で形成される、請求項9に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記第1の層は、炭素ブロックポリアミド12、炭素ブロックポリアミド11、炭素ブロックポリアミド6およびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される物質で形成される、請求項9に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記第1の層は、炭素ブロックポリアミド6である、請求項11に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記中間層の前記溶融処理可能な熱可塑性物質は、エチレンテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリビニリデンジフルオライドおよびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される65重量%ないし75重量%のフッ素樹脂と、
ポリアミド6、ポリアミド11、ポリアミド12およびこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される25重量%ないし35重量%のポリアミドと、
を備える、請求項12に記載の多層管状物。 - 前記ポリアミド熱可塑性物質は、不均質状態で中間層のフッ素樹脂内に分布されている、請求項13に記載の多層管状物。
- 前記第1の層は、ポリアミドにより形成され、また前記中間層内の前記溶融処理可能な第1の熱可塑性物質は、前記中間層の厚さ方向全体に渡って濃度勾配を示すポリアミド領域を形成し、この領域でポリアミド濃度が前記第1の層近傍で高くなっている、請求項9に記載の多層管状物。
