この発明は、車両窓のサイド部において窓板と車体パネルとの間隙に沿って窓板から離間するように取り付けられ、コーナー部を経てアッパー部またはドリップ溝に近接するように伸びる装飾モールディングおよびせき部材を有する車両用モールディング、ならびにその取付部材に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
車両のフロントウインドウに付着した雨水がサイドウインドウへ流れるのを防止するために、車両窓(フロントウインドウ)のサイド部において窓板から離間するようにせき部材を有し、コーナー部付近で窓板または車体パネルに近接してアッパー部に伸びるウインドウモールディング、あるいはサイド部において窓板と車体パネルとの間隙に沿って窓板から離間するように取り付けられ、コーナー部付近で窓板または車体パネルに近接してドリップ溝に伸びるルーフモールディングなどの車両用モールディングが、車両窓の窓板と車体パネルとの間隙に沿って取り付けられている。

しかしながら、このような従来のモールディング1においては、せき部材5の頭部を装飾モールディング4の内部空間に挿入する際、装飾モールディング4が3次元的に変化する曲線となっているため挿入が困難であり、せき部材5の一部が装飾モールディング4に削り取られて、削り滓が発生し易い。挿入を容易にするためには、装飾モールディング4とせき部材5のクリアランスを大きくする必要があるが、この場合ガタツキを防止するために、装飾モールディング4とせき部材5間を接着剤で接着する必要があり、接着の材料および工数を必要とする上、リサイクルを困難にするという問題点があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の課題は、装飾モールディングの内部空間へのせき部材の挿入が容易で、削り滓の発生を少なくすることができ、クリアランスを大きくしてもガタツキを防止できるとともに、接着剤による接着が不要で、接着の材料および工数を省略できる上、リサイクルが可能であり、異なる装飾モールディングとせき部材の組み合わせをも可能とする車両用モールディング、およびその取付部材を得ることである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は次の車両用モールディングおよび取付部材である。
(1) 車両窓のサイド部において窓板と車体パネルとの間隙に沿って窓板から離間するように取り付けられ、コーナー部付近で窓板または車体パネルに近接してアッパー部またはドリップ溝に伸び、内部空間を形成するように両側縁部から内向に折返し状に、開口部の両側に形成された係合部を有する装飾モールディングと、
