かかる課題を達成するため、本発明者は、再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層と強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層とを積層してなる両面テープを想到した。すなわち、本発明の複合両面テープは、剥離紙面に再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層と強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層とが積層されてなり、ロール状に成形された複合両面テープであって、前記剥離紙面と前記再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層との粘着強度をa、前記剥離紙面と前記強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層との粘着強度をb、前記再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層と前記強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層との粘着強度をcとした場合、b<a<cの関係を満たすことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施形態】
以下、本発明の複合両面テープおよびその作成方法について添付の図面に基づき、さらに詳述する。なお、ここにおいて、図1は本発明の複合両面テープの断面説明図、図2はロール状に成形された本発明の複合両面テープの断面説明図、図3は本発明の複合両面テープの使用状態説明図、また、図4は本発明の複合両面テープの作成方法の概略的フロー図である。

図1に示すように、本発明の複合両面テープ1は、剥離紙2の表面に再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層3と強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層4とが順次積層されてなる。それぞれの感圧性接着剤層3,4を構成する再剥離再貼着型や強粘着型の感圧接着剤の種類は従来公知のもので良く、特に限定はない。例えば、再剥離再貼着型のものは従来の貼着付箋や隠蔽シールなどで使用されるもので良く、一方、強粘着型のものは従来の両面テープで使用されているもので良い。

また、剥離紙2も従来公知のもので良く、一般的なものは剥離剤層が一方の面にあるが、本実施例では、再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層3を剥離紙2の剥離剤層面でなく基材面に設け、図2に示すように、複合両面テープ1をロール状に成形した際、剥離剤層を強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層4に対接するように構成している。ただし、作成方法を鑑み、最も好ましくは、剥離紙2を剥離剤層が両面にあるタイプのものを使用するのが良い。

なお、本実施例のものは剥離紙2の表面に再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層3を設け、次に、強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層4を設けた構成であるが、本発明はこれに限定されず、剥離紙2の剥離剤層面に強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層4を設け、次に、再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層4を設けた構成であっても構わない。ただし、後者の構成であると、一旦、何らかの被着体に再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層をもって複合両面テープを仮着し、表出している強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層をもってテープ被着体に間接的に再度貼着することになり、テープ被着体に複合両面テープを直接的に貼着し、さらに、テープ被着体をさらに別の被着体との間あるいは被着体同士を再剥離再貼着するまで、剥離紙が再剥離再貼着型の感圧接着剤層を保護している本実施例の構成の方が実用上好適であると言える。

本発明の複合両面テープの使用は、図3に示すように、例えば、テープ被着体5を貼着付箋として利用したい場合には、(イ)ロール状に成形された複合両面テープ(図示せず)からテープを所望の長さに切断し、(ロ)強粘着性の感圧性接着剤層4をもって付箋紙片たるテープ被着体5に貼着した後、(ハ)剥離紙2を剥離し、(ニ)表出した再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層3をもって、机などの別の被着体6との間で剥離可能に貼着される。このように、テープ被着体5には再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層3によって、何度でも別の被着体との間に剥離・貼着を繰り返すことができる機能が付与される。

各々の感圧性接着剤層3,4の形成方法については、例えば、専用塗布機や印刷機などをもって剥離紙2の表面に一方の感圧性接着剤を塗布し、その感圧性接着剤の種類に応じ、温風乾燥、赤外線照射、紫外線照射などにより定着させて感圧性接着剤層を形成し、この感圧性接着剤層上に、次の感圧性接着剤層を同様な方法にて順次形成して行く方法でも良いが、後述する請求項2記載の作成方法が最も好適である。

本発明の複合両面テープの最も好適な作成方法について、図4に示した実施例に基づき説明する。先ず、表裏面に剥離剤層を有してなる剥離紙2のロールの繰出装置UWから繰り出された剥離紙2のウエヴの一面に再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤3′を、他面に強粘着型の感圧性接着剤4′をそれぞれ塗布する。なお、本実施例においては、剥離紙2の表裏面へ同時に感圧性接着剤を塗布できるタイプの塗布機Cを用いているが、片面に塗布するタイプの塗布機を二台並設させても良い。次に、温風加熱タイプの乾燥機Dをもってそれぞれの感圧性接着剤3′,4′を同時に固化定着させ、再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層3および強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層4を形成する。そして、巻取装置RWにて当該感圧性接着剤層3,4が形成された剥離紙2をロール状に巻き取るものである。また、必要に応じ、剥離紙2のウエヴを単位幅に切断したり、単位長さに区画分離するための切断装置やミシン線加工機Mなどを併設しても良い。

なお、剥離紙面と感圧性接着剤層および感圧性接着層間の粘着強度に関し、ロール状に成形された複合両面テープにおいて、剥離紙面と再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層との粘着強度をaとし、剥離紙面と強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層との粘着強度をbとし、また、再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層と強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層との粘着強度をcすれば、a,b,cの関係はa<b<cもしくはb<a<cに調整するものであるが、実用上好ましい構成の複合両面テープを作成するためには、b<a<cとするのが好ましい。これは、前述したように、ロール状に成形された複合両面テープを繰り出した際に、強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層が表出し、再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層が剥離紙によって保護されている状態となり、テープ被着体に複合両面テープを強粘着型の感圧性接着剤層をもって貼着した後に、直ちに別の被着体との間あるいは被着体同士を貼着しない場合、再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層が表出せずに好都合であるからである。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明の複合両面テープによれば、テープを所望の長さに切断し、所定のテープ被着体に、その強粘着性の感圧性接着剤層をもって貼着した後、再剥離再貼着型の感圧性接着剤層をもって、さらに別の被着体との間あるいは被着体同士を再剥離再貼着でき、テープ被着体を貼着付箋、隠蔽シールあるいは伝言メモのように、従来の両面テープでは成し得ないアプリケーションで利用できる。また、本発明の複合両面テープの作成方法によれば、各々の感圧性接着剤層をほぼ同時に形成でき、さらに、感圧性接着剤層が形成された剥離紙をロール状に巻き取り、感圧性接着剤層間の粘着強度を調整することで、本発明の複合両面テープを少ない工程で効率的に作成できるなどの効果を奏する。
