Description
−この方法は、ベアラー(bearer)・サービスで使われる通信経路のどの部分もが選択された送信モードを支援するわけではないときに起こる問題に対する解決策を与えない;
−この方法は、単一のセルの中での使用に限定されていて、とくに、現在のセルと隣接するセルとが異なる送信モード選択肢を支援するときにどの送信モードおよびセルを使用するかを選択することに伴う問題に何ら答えていない;
−この方法は、RLPプロトコルにしたがって送信中に送信モードが変更されるときに生じる問題、すなわちいかにしてすべてのRLPフレームをその宛先に確実に到達させるかという問題に対する解決策を与えていない;
−この方法は、2つ以上のチャネル(タイムスロット)を利用できるシステムにおいてデータ送信モードを変更することに伴う問題、とくに該システムで透明接続を維持することに伴う問題、に対する解決策を与えていない。
Claims (1)
- 少なくとも部分的には回線交換(circuit−switched)接続を含むセルラー移動通信システムで送信を最適化する方法であって:
移動局(MS)と基地局(BTS)間の無線インターフェイスと、および
前記基地局(BTS)と相互接続機能(IWF)間の接続と
が前記回線交換(circuit−switched)接続であり、
−前記移動局(MS)および前記基地局(BTS)の間で2つ以上のデータ転送モードを使うことが可能であり;
−該データ転送モードにより可能とされるユーザー・データのための送信速度は、少なくとも、利用できるチャネル資源および使用されるチャネル符号化の冗長性に依存し;
−前記移動局(MS)が利用できるチャネル資源は限られており;
−前記移動局(MS)は種々のチャネル符号化方法のうちから選択された範囲の限られたチャネル符号化方法へのアクセスを有し;
使用されるデータ転送モードは、前もって取り決められていたデータ転送モードの集合のうちから、前記移動局(MS)と前記基地局(BTS)とのあいだの接続の品質を表す特性に基づいて選択され、その選択および変更後に、データ転送モードの変更が相互接続機能(IWF)に通知され、そののちに前記相互接続機能(IWF)はパケットデータネットワークとの間で、新しいデータ転送モードに順応することを特徴とする送信の最適化方法。
