このように、加工深さdに合わせて待避移動速度V1等を変化させることによって、加工時間を短縮させることができる。また、必要以上に工具電極102を動かさなくてすむため、位置等加工状態の変化を抑制することもでき、加工精度を向上させることができる。なお、工具電極102を待避サーチ速度v2で移動させているときに、異常放電回避信号又は短絡回避信号を再度チェックするようにしてもよい。

Claims (1)
- 加工液に浸積された被加工物と当該被加工物から所定の距離に離間された工具電極とに並列に接続されたコンデンサを用いて、所定の幅と間隔を有するパルス電圧を当該被加工物と当該工具電極とに印加して、当該被加工物と当該工具電極の間に放電を発生させて当該被加工物を加工する放電加工方法であって、
前記工具電極と前記被加工物との間の電圧を測定する第1回目の測定を行い、
前記第1回目の測定電圧と予め決めていた2つの閾値α1、α2(α1<α2)との比較で、前記第1回目の測定電圧が前記α1未満であれば短絡、前記α1以上α2未満であれば異常放電、前記α2以上であれば放電の状態であると判断し、印加された前記パルス電圧に対する前記第1回目の測定電圧の降下量で通電の状態であると判断する第1回目の状態判断を行い、
続いて、前記第1回目の測定と同様に第2回目の測定を行い、
前記第1回目の測定電圧から前記第1回目の状態判断を行ったのと同様に、前記第2回目の測定電圧から短絡、異常放電、放電、通電のいずれかの状態を判断する第2回目の状態判断を行い、
前記判断した状態が第1回目、第2回目共に放電である場合は、パルス電圧印加間隔を短くし、
前記判断した状態が第1回目、第2回目共に通電である場合は、パルス電圧を印加させるデューティを減じ、
前記判断した状態が第1回目、第2回目共に短絡である場合は、パルス電圧を印加させるデューティをゼロにした後、前記工具電極を前記被加工物から離れる方向に待避させ、前記工具電極と前記被加工物との距離を縮めパルス電圧の印加を再開させ、
前記判断した状態が異なる場合または第1回目、第2回目共に異常放電の場合は、デューティを変化させないことを特徴とする放電加工方法。
