Description
本発明は、殺菌製品、例えば、調合された薬剤が入っているパッケージをシールするためのゴム栓を処理する方法に関する。
薬剤が入っている試験管形態のパッケージをシールする場合、パッケージに入っている殺菌された薬剤がまさしくそのパッケージシール工程中に汚染されないようにすることが重要である。この点については、そのような試験管の口を塞ぐためにゴム栓が用いられている。ゴム栓は、まず洗浄処理とすすぎ処理を受けた後、続いて殺菌処理と乾燥処理を受ける。殺菌工程の前に、ゴム栓は、シリコンで処理される。これは、殺菌工程後貯蔵された際にゴム栓が互いに付着しないように保証するとともに、ゴム栓をひとつずつ試験管に取り付けやすくしかつ試験管を効率良くシールするのに十分な柔軟性をゴム栓に付与するためである。
従来知られている方法によれば、洗浄したゴム栓を、シェーカ(shaker)として知られている振動台の上に置く。そして、霧状のシリコンをゴム栓に吹きかけた後、そのゴム栓を容器又は袋の中に集め、それごとオートクレーブ内で殺菌する。
他の従来技術の方法によれば、薄いシリコン油を水と混ぜ合わせ、混合を促進するために乳化剤を加える。そして、乳濁液が形成されると、これをゴム栓が入っている容器にポンプで注入する。ゴム栓は、容器内でシリコン処理され、殺菌され、乾燥される。
後者の方法は、比較的実施しやすいため、最初に述べた方法と比較して有利である。しかしながら、環境の面からは、この後者の方法は、乳濁液を形成するために化学物質を加える必要がある点で、不利である。
本発明の目的は、化学物質を一切加える必要なしにシリコンと水とから乳濁液を形成する方法を提供することである。この乳濁液を用いてゴム栓を効率良くシリコン処理することができる。この目的は、乳濁液を形成するのに十分強力な攪拌を加えながらシリコン油と水のみを混合し、得られた乳濁液をゴム栓が貯蔵されシリコン処理が行われる容器に導くという本発明方法の手段によって達成される。
また、本発明は、本方法を実行する装置に関する。本装置の特徴は、請求の範囲第4項に記載されている。
以下、本発明に係る装置の略図である添付図面を参照して、本発明をより詳細に説明する。
シリコン油3が入っている容器2から通じる導管1に計量ポンプ(dosage pump)4が取り付けられている。計量ポンプ4の下流には、導管1にシャットオフ弁が取り付けられている。導管1から給水管6が分かれており、この給水管6には同じようにシャットオフ弁7が取り付けられている。給水管6によって供給される水は、ポンプ4から吐出され導管1を通って輸送される計量された量のシリコン油3と混合される。導管1から給水管6が分かれている分岐点8の下流には、分散ポンプ(dispersing pump)9が設けられており、この分散ポンプ9からシリコン処理を施すゴム栓を貯蔵する容器11に通じる導管10には、別のシャットオフ弁12及び絞り弁13が取り付けられている。
本発明に係る方法は、以下のようにして実行される。水とシリコン油とを所望の割合で分散ポンプ9に圧送、注入する。ここで行われる分散は、シリコン油の粘度が高いか低いかとは無関係に、乳濁液を形成するのに十分強力である。その後、乳濁液を容器11に圧送、注入し、ここで乳濁液とゴム栓との混合物14が形成される。その後、ゴム栓のシリコン処理を行い、この結果、ゴム栓は薄いシリコンコーティングを受ける。
本発明に係る方法の他の展開によれば、乳濁液とゴム栓との混合物14に空気を吹き付ける。この結果、乳濁液(シリコン)はゴム栓の表面に完全に付着するので残りの液体はほとんど水のみからなる。この水は排出する。すでに知られている方法では、蒸気を容器に供給してゴム栓を殺菌した後、乾燥させる。このとき、容器は、ゴム栓を使用時までしまっておくゴム栓貯蔵手段の用をしている。

When sealing a test tube package containing the drug, it is important that the sterilized drug contained in the package is not contaminated during the package sealing process. Prior to the sterilization process, the rubber plug is treated with silicon. This ensures that the rubber plugs do not stick to each other when stored after the sterilization process, and that the rubber plugs are easy to attach to the test tubes one by one and have enough flexibility to efficiently seal the test tubes. According to other prior art methods, a thin silicone oil is mixed with water and an emulsifier is added to facilitate mixing. When an emulsion is formed, it is pumped into a container containing a rubber stopper. The rubber stopper is siliconized, sterilized and dried in the container.
The latter method is advantageous compared to the first method because it is relatively easy to implement. However, from an environmental standpoint, this latter method is disadvantageous in that chemicals need to be added to form an emulsion.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for forming an emulsion from silicon and water without the need to add any chemicals. The rubber stopper can be efficiently siliconized using this emulsion. The purpose of this is to mix only silicone oil and water with strong enough stirring to form an emulsion and to guide the resulting emulsion to a container where a rubber stopper is stored and siliconized. This is achieved by means of the inventive method.
The invention also relates to an apparatus for performing the method. The features of this device are described in claim 4.
