Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fall protection outer hood for preventing passengers from falling from a platform in a space between vehicles formed in a connecting portion of a railway vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Since a space is formed between vehicles adjacent to each other in the connecting portion of the railway vehicle, there is a possibility that passengers on the platform will fall. In order to prevent such a fall, hitherto, it has already been put into practical use that an outer hood is arranged on the face of the vehicle to close the space between the vehicles.
[0003]
In this type of outer hood, when the vehicle is located on a curved track, the adjacent wives of adjacent vehicles are not parallel and the distance between the inside and the outside is different. Rather than simply closing the space between them, some measure is required.
[0004]
This type of conventional outer hood includes a type using a bellows type stretchable hood, and an outer hood in which a flexible plate or elastic plate is bent into a substantially U shape or V shape in plan view. The method used is the mainstream.
[0005]
The system using the bellows type hood can be expanded and contracted by some mechanism provided on the wife surface, so that the distance between the tips of the opposing outer hoods does not change much even if the vehicle is positioned on a curved track. For example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-44990 has been proposed. In this proposal, a oscillating arm is provided that has a base end movably supported along the vehicle wife surface and a distal end positioned in the vicinity of the extension surface of the vehicle side surface, one end being the oscillating arm and the other end being the vehicle. A swivel arm that is pivotably supported on each end face of the corner with the side surface is provided, and the base end of the swing arm is urged toward the corner by a spring. By constructing a bellows-type hood over the area, even if the vehicle is positioned on a curved track, the distance between the tips of the hood facing each other between adjacent vehicles will not increase. ing.
[0006]
On the other hand, a method using an outer hood in which a flexible plate material or an elastic plate material is bent into a substantially U-shape or V-shape is a method of using an outer hood facing the inside of adjacent vehicles when located on a curved track. Even if they interfere with each other, it is possible to reduce the setting of the gap between the opposing outer hoods by bending one or both outer hoods, and they face each other outside in a state where they are located on a curved track. The distance between the tips of the outer hood is not so large. As this method, Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 10-6985 and 10-6987 have been proposed.
[0007]
In the proposal of Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-6985, a mounting frame having a U-shaped widening cross-sectional shape is attached so that the bottom of the mounting frame faces the vehicle wife surface, and the elastic plate is bent into a U shape and both ends thereof are attached to the mounting frame. A structure that is inserted inside to form a fall prevention member (outer hood main body), and further, a divergent coupling member is fitted between both ends of the outer hood main body and the mounting frame, and is pulled and fixed to the bottom side of the mounting frame with a screw. It is said.
[0008]
In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-6987, a fall prevention member (outer hood main body) obtained by bending a flexible plate or elastic plate into a substantially V shape is mounted on a mounting frame, and the mounting frame is hinged to a vehicle wife surface. The outer hood main body can be opened toward the outside of the vehicle by connecting via the outer hood, and the outer hood main body is fixed in a direction along the side of the vehicle by prohibiting the opening operation. A clamp is provided on the face of the vehicle that cannot be seen from the outside opposite to the mounting surface, and a locking piece is provided on the mounting frame to lock the clamp. Unfolding and opening the outer hood to the outside makes it easier to work.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, among the conventional fall protection outer hoods as described above, the one using the bellows type hood film has a complicated mechanism for expanding and contracting the hood film in order to fulfill the above-mentioned function for fall protection. Not only is it necessary, but a relatively large space for mounting the mechanism on the vehicle wife surface is required, and other measures such as moving other outfits on the wife surface may be forced.
[0010]
In addition, with such a bellows type hood film and a mechanism using its telescopic mechanism, it is relatively difficult to remove the outer hood, which is not only complicated for vehicle inspection and maintenance work but also for emergency. Sometimes it is very difficult to get into between connected vehicles.
[0011]
On the other hand, when using an outer hood in which a flexible plate or elastic plate is bent into a U-shape or V-shape, it does not require a large space on the vehicle wife surface, but the plate is bent into a U or V shape. Therefore, a mounting width of a certain degree or more is required at the base end portion of the outer hood main body at the same time, and the mounting mechanism is relatively complicated.
[0012]
Further, in order to enter between connected vehicles, the structure as disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-6985 is troublesome because it is necessary to remove the screw and remove the main body of the outer hood one by one.
[0013]
Here, in the proposal of Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-6987, since the outer hood main body can be opened outward, the mechanism for maintaining the closed state is visible from the outside although it is effective at the time of inspection and maintenance work. Since it is constituted by a clasp and a locking piece provided at a position where it cannot be performed, the releasing operation of the holding mechanism is troublesome, and is insufficient to cope with an emergency.
[0014]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and the main purpose thereof is to require a small space for mounting on the vehicle wife face, and to easily attach it to the wife face of vehicles equipped with various fittings. It is to provide an outer hood for falling protection.
[0015]
Another object of the present invention is to provide a fall protection outer hood that can be easily opened and closed and can enter and exit the vehicle connecting portion even in an emergency, based on a simple mechanism. Is to provide.
[0016]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the fall protection outer hood of the present invention, the outer hood mounting bracket can be rotated around the vertical axis via the hinge mechanism on each of the mounting seats fixed along the outer edges of the end face of the railcar. is supported by, in its outer hood mounting member, the outer hood body and the elastic material and the insert metal fitting formed by integrally molded fixed via the insert fixture, the hinge mechanism, the outer hood body on the vehicle side It functions in a range that opens only from a certain direction substantially along the outside, and has a lock mechanism that prevents rotation of the outer hood mounting bracket by the hinge mechanism so that the outer hood main body maintains the certain direction , When the outer hood mounting bracket is movable up and down within a certain range on the hinge mechanism and the connecting body of the outer hood mounting bracket and the outer hood main body is located at its lower limit position under its own weight, The bracket makes contact with the latch on the mounting seat and rotation is impossible. The lock mechanism functions become, and, as the contact between the latch of the outer hood mounting bracket by lifting the coupling body a predetermined amount or more is avoided turnable is the lock mechanism is released It is characterized by being comprised (Claim 1).
[0017]
The invention according to claim 2 further includes a pressing mechanism that elastically presses the outer hood mounting bracket against the mounting seat in a state where the connecting body is locked in a certain direction substantially along the vehicle side surface by the locking mechanism. It is characterized by having.
[0018]
The present invention facilitates access to the connecting portion by providing a function for opening and closing the outer hood and a function for preventing the opening and closing of the outer hood. By using the outer hood main body made of an elastic material integrated with the insert metal fitting, it is possible to simplify the attachment to the outer hood attachment metal fitting and save space.
[0019]
In addition, the lock mechanism is configured to function by the weight of the connecting body between the outer hood mounting bracket and the outer hood main body, and the lock is released by lifting the connecting body. Without the need for a fastening mechanism like a hood, and without requiring measures such as providing such a fastening mechanism at a position where it cannot be seen from the outside, it is possible to open and close and lock the outer hood with a very simple operation. Emergency response is possible.
[0020]
Further, as in the invention according to claim 2 , there is provided a pressing mechanism that elastically presses the outer hood mounting bracket against the mounting seat in a state where the outer hood main body is locked in a direction substantially along the vehicle side surface by the locking mechanism. In this case, rattling of the outer hood is suppressed in a locked state, that is, during normal use, and the fall protection function is more reliable.
[0021]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a view showing a connecting portion of a railway vehicle to which a fall protection outer hood of the present invention is applied as viewed from the side of the vehicle, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged plan view of a main part thereof.
[0022]
The fall protection outer tops 1a and 1b are respectively mounted in the vicinity of the corners of the end face D of each vehicle and the vehicle side S. Of the opposing outer hoods 1a and 1b, one outer hood 1a is mounted in a posture orthogonal to the wife surface D, and the other outer hood 1b is mounted in a slightly inclined posture so that the vehicle is straight. It is considered that the outer hoods 1a and 1b facing each other when they are located on the track and are displaced back and forth bend each other. In addition, the inclination of the outer hood 1b is formed by slightly reducing an angle formed by a later-described attachment portion 13b of the attachment seat 13 and the attachment fitting contact portion 13c to less than 90 °. The structure is equivalent to the outer hood 1a.
[0023]
The outer hoods 1a and 1b respectively support the outer hood main body 11, the outer hood mounting bracket 12 to which the outer hood main body 11 is fixed, the outer hood mounting bracket 12 so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis, and The base 13 is a mounting seat 13 that is fixed to the end face D of the vehicle. And the connection body of the outer hood main body 11 and the outer hood mounting bracket 12 is fixed in a state where the outer hood main body 11 is substantially perpendicular to the end face D, that is, substantially along the side surface S, as shown by a solid line in FIG. From this state, the vehicle can be opened to the side surface S of the vehicle as indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG.
[0024]
As shown in FIG. 3, the outer hood main body 11 is mainly composed of a solid body made of an elastic material such as special rubber, and a fixing bracket 11 a and a washer 11 b are integrally formed at the base end portion by an insert molding method. It has become. The outer hood main body 11 is fixed to the outer hood mounting bracket 12 by screwing the screw B into the female screws formed on the insert-molded fixing metal fitting 11a and the washer 11b.
[0025]
The outer hood mounting bracket 12 is supported by a hinge mechanism so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis and movable up and down with respect to the mounting seat 13.
[0026]
4A is a front view, FIG. 4B is a left side view thereof, and FIGS. 5A and 5B are respectively in FIG. 4B. As shown in the enlarged views of the AA and BB cross-sections of the end faces, a long plate material as a whole is bent into a substantially L-shaped cross section, and one side is flat with the bent portion 13a interposed therebetween. An attachment portion 13b for fixing to the outer hood is formed, and on the opposite side, a mounting bracket abutting portion 13c that defines a rotating end of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 to be described later is formed. A folded portion 13d that is bent at a right angle in the same direction is formed at the tip of the contact portion 13c. A latch 13e for forming a part of a lock mechanism described later is fixed to the folded portion 13d at a plurality of locations in the longitudinal direction.
[0027]
Further, in the vicinity of the bent portion 13a, notches 13f are formed at a plurality of locations in the longitudinal direction, and the mandrel 21 is fixed to the outer surface in the vicinity of the bent portion 13a by welding along the longitudinal direction. . In addition, 13g is a reinforcement board.
[0028]
Plunger receivers 23 are fixed to the mounting seat 13 in the vicinity of both upper and lower ends. The plunger receiver 23 is elastically pressed against the mounting seat 13 with the plunger bolts 22 attached to the vicinity of both upper and lower ends of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 to be described later. The detailed structure will be described later.
[0029]
On the other hand, the outer hood mounting bracket 12 shows a front view in FIG. 6 (A), a right side view thereof in FIG. 6 (B), and FIGS. 7 (A) and 7 (B) respectively in FIG. As shown in AA and BB cross-sectional end face enlarged views in FIG. 4B, one side edge of the long plate material is bent at a right angle to form a flat outer hood main body mounting portion 12a. Has a structure in which a folded portion 12b folded in the same direction over a plurality of locations is formed. The dimension of the folded portion 12b in the longitudinal direction of the plate material is substantially equal to the dimension in the same direction of the latch 13e of the mounting seat 13, and the formation position thereof also corresponds to the fixing position of the latch 13e. A lock mechanism is configured as will be described later. A plurality of through holes 12c for inserting screws B for fixing the outer hood main body 11 are formed in the outer hood main body mounting portion 12a.
[0030]
In addition, hinges 12d are welded to a plurality of locations in the longitudinal direction in the vicinity of the side edge on the side opposite to the portion where the outer hood main body mounting surface 12a is formed. The welding position of each hinge 12d corresponds to the formation position of the notch 13f of the mounting seat 13, and the longitudinal dimension of each hinge 12d is shorter than the same dimension of the notch 13f. The dimensional difference is set to be slightly larger than the longitudinal dimension of the folded portion 12b and the latch 13e.
[0031]
A screw seat 12e for attaching a plunger bolt 22 to be described later is attached to the vicinity of both upper and lower ends of the outer hood mounting frame 12 corresponding to the plunger receiver 23 described above.
[0032]
FIG. 8 is a view of the assembled state of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 and the mounting seat 13 as viewed from the side S of the vehicle. FIG. 9A is an enlarged view of the AA cross-sectional end surface, and FIG. FIG. 9 also shows an enlarged end surface of the BB cross section. FIGS. 10A and 10B are enlarged views of the CC and DD sections in FIG. 8, respectively. In addition, each of these figures has shown the normal use state of the outer hood, ie, a locked state.
[0033]
The outer hood mounting bracket 12 is supported so as to be rotatable and vertically movable with respect to the mounting seat 13 by inserting a mandrel 21 fixed to the mounting seat 13 into each hinge 12d.
[0034]
In other words, each hinge 12d is positioned in each notch 13f formed in the mounting frame 13, and the mandrel 21 is inserted therein. As a result, the outer hood mounting bracket 12 is rotatable about the mandrel 21 and is slidable in the vertical direction by the vertical dimension difference between the hinge 12d and the notch 13f. Here, one rotating end of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 is in a state where the outer hood mounting bracket 12 is in close contact with the mounting bracket abutting portion 13c of the mounting seat 13, as shown in the figure. The main body 11 is in a normal use state along the vehicle side surface S.
[0035]
In such a normal use state, the connection body of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 and the outer hood main body 11 has the lower end surface of each hinge 12d on the upper surface of the lower end of the notch 13f as shown in FIG. It comes into contact. In this state, as shown in FIG. 9B, the folded portion 12b of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 comes into contact with the latch 13e of the mounting seat 13, and the rotation of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 is prevented. The coupling body between the hood mounting bracket 12 and the outer hood main body 11 is locked.
[0036]
Further, in this locked state, the plunger bolt 22 and the plunger receiver 23 are in close contact with each other to form a part of the locking function together with the mechanism including the folded portion 12b and the latch 13e, and at the same time, the outer hood mounting bracket 12 Is elastically pressed against the mounting frame 13 to eliminate the rattling.
[0037]
That is, as shown in FIG. 10, the plunger bolt 22 is a bolt 22a in which a plunger 22b and a compression coil spring (not shown) are accommodated, and the plunger 22b is urged toward the front end in the axial direction by the compression coil spring. Has been. The plunger receiver 23 faces the plunger bolt 22 fixed to the screw seat 22 of the outer hood mounting bracket 12, and a chevron surface 23 a is formed on the facing surface. In the above-described locked state, the plunger 22 b is in a state in which the tip surface thereof is in contact with the plunger receiver 23 below the ridge line of the chevron surface 23 a of the plunger receiver 23. In this state, the plunger 22b is pushed back against the compression force of the compression coil spring. Therefore, in this locked state, the outer hood mounting bracket 12 is attached to the mounting bracket 13 by the compression coil spring in the plunger bolt 22. On the other hand, the outer hood mounting bracket 12 and the outer hood main body 11 do not rattle due to vibrations during traveling.
[0038]
In the locked state, the plunger 22b is positioned below the ridgeline of the chevron surface 23a of the plunger receiver 23. In order to cross the ridgeline, the plunger 22b is pushed back against the pressing force of the compression coil spring in the plunger bolt 22. Since it is necessary, the coupled body does not move unintentionally due to vibration during traveling, and the locked state is not released.
[0039]
Now, from such a locked state, the connecting body of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 and the outer hood main body 11 is lifted, the plunger 22b is moved over the ridge line of the angled surface 23a of the plunger receiver 23, and the outer hood is further moved. When the lower end surface of each folded portion 12b of the mounting bracket 12 exceeds the upper end surface of each latch 13e of the mounting seat 13, there is no factor that prevents the outer hood mounting bracket 12 from rotating, and the lock is released. In this unlocked state, the outer hood mounting bracket 12 can be rotated in a direction away from the mounting frame abutting portion 13c of the mounting seat 13, and thus in the direction in which the outer hood main body 11 is opened. As shown by the chain line, the vehicle connecting portion can be greatly opened.
[0040]
Further, in the open state, the connecting body is again lifted to the same height as above and rotated, and the outer hood mounting bracket 12 is released in a state of being in close contact with the mounting bracket contact portion 13c of the mounting seat 13. The connected body descends by its own weight and returns to the locked state again.
[0041]
What should be particularly noted in the above embodiments is that the outer hood main body is integrated with the solid body made of an elastic material such as special rubber by fixing the outer hood by insert molding. The installation mechanism to 12 is simple, and the installation space to the vehicle is small, and if there is a space of about several tens of millimeters on both sides of the vehicle face D, a set of devices below the attachment seat 13 can be easily attached. be able to.
[0042]
Further, the outer hood main body 11 mainly composed of a solid elastic material is formed by bending a conventional elastic plate material into a U shape or a V shape. Experiments have confirmed that the force required to pass an object against the gap increases.
[0043]
Further, in the above-described embodiment, a further point to be noted is that a lock mechanism using the weight of the outer hood mounting bracket 12 and the outer hood main body 11 is employed. The return operation is extremely easy and is particularly useful in terms of emergency response .
[0044]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the outer hood main body, which is integrally formed by inserting a fixing metal fitting into an elastic material, is fixed to the outer hood mounting metal fitting, and the outer hood mounting metal fitting is attached to the vehicle via the hinge mechanism. By rotatably supporting the mounting seat fixed to the wife surface, the outer hood main body can be opened outward from the state along the side of the vehicle, and the outer hood can be prevented from rotating by the hinge mechanism. Because it has a lock mechanism that fixes the main body in a state along the side of the vehicle, it requires very little space to attach to the vehicle's wife's face, and without particularly reducing or moving other equipment on the wife's face In addition, it is possible to easily attach an outer hood for fall protection to an existing vehicle or the like.
[0045]
Moreover, as a lock mechanism for fixing the position along the outer hood body on the vehicle side, because it uses the mechanism using the weight of the connecting body of the outer hood body and the outer hood mounting bracket, the locking mechanism release and return operation Is extremely easy, and it is possible to quickly enter and exit the vehicle connecting portion in an emergency.
[0046]
In addition , by providing a mechanism that elastically presses the outer hood mounting bracket against the mounting seat while the outer hood body is locked in a posture along the vehicle wife surface, The connection body composed of the main body and the outer hood mounting bracket is less likely to rattle, and the quietness can be improved.
