FIG. 6 is a side view showing the internal configuration of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1.
As shown in this figure, the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 includes a banknote insertion slot (payment slot) 21 and a plurality of rollers such as a taking-in roller and a separation roller that separate and take in banknotes inserted into the banknote insertion slot 21 one by one. The first discrimination unit 23 for discriminating the authenticity, denomination, front / back, correctness, etc. of the captured bill and counting the genuine bill, etc. Return port 24 for collecting rejected banknotes identified as denominations, etc., front / back reversing section 25 for collecting the front and back of banknotes identified by the first discrimination section 23, and the type of banknotes for withdrawal A plurality of banknote storages 26 to be stored in each of the banknotes, temporary holding units 27 arranged at the upper portions thereof corresponding to the respective banknote storages 26, and feeding rollers provided to feed out the lower banknotes of the respective banknote storages 26. And a plurality of rollers such as separation rollers The second discrimination unit 29 for discriminating the authenticity, denomination, front and back, correctness and the like of the banknotes fed out from the feeding unit 28 and the banknote storage 26, and counting the genuine bills, etc., and the second discrimination unit 29 In the reject banknote storage 30 for storing rejected banknotes discriminated from fake tickets (denomination unknown tickets), etc., the withdrawal port 31 for stacking banknotes that are genuine and discriminated by the second discrimination unit 29. The transport paths 32a to 32j for transporting banknotes by connecting the components to each other, and the twist transport section 33 connected to the transport path 32j. The twist transport section 33 vertically and vertically transports the banknotes. As a direction, the banknote is rotated 90 degrees around the transport direction, and then the banknote is transported in the horizontal direction so that it can be fed into the adjacent replenishing and collecting machine 3.

Here, an example in which four banknote storages 26 are provided is shown, and the denominations of banknotes stored in the four banknote storages 26 are arbitrarily determined by the operation method. For example, four types of banknotes such as 10,000 yen banknotes, thousand yen banknotes, 5,000 yen banknotes, and 2,000 yen banknotes may be stored and operated in denominations. It is also possible to store and operate a thousand yen banknote and a two thousand yen banknote in the remaining two banknote storages 26, respectively.

Further, the temporary storage unit 27 has a capacity capable of stacking a certain number of banknotes (for example, 500), and can drop the stored temporary banknotes into the banknote storage 26.
The withdrawal port 31 is provided with a shutter that can be opened and closed.
In this configuration, in the case of deposit processing, when the operator inserts banknotes P into the banknote insertion slot 21, the banknotes P are separated and taken in one by one by the taking-in means 22, and the first discriminating section 23 is taken by the transport path 32a. Authenticated to identify authenticity, denomination, front and back, damage, etc.

As a result, rejected banknotes discriminated from fake tickets (denomination type tickets) etc. are transported to the return port 24 by the transport path 32b, accumulated, and returned to the operator.
The returned banknote can be inserted again into the banknote insertion slot 21 by the operator.
The banknotes discriminated from the genuine bills that can be deposited by the first discrimination unit 23 are counted by denomination by the first discrimination unit 23 and sent to the front / back reversing unit 25 through the transport path 32c after the front / back determination is performed. After the front and back are prepared, they are transported by the transport path 32d, and are sorted and accumulated in the temporary storage units 27 on the plurality of banknote storages 26 by denomination.

In this way, when all the genuine bills inserted into the bill insertion slot 21 by the operator are accumulated in the temporary storage unit 27 of the bill depositing / dispensing machine 1, the counting results of those bills are displayed on the display unit 10. .
Looking at this, when the operator operates the keyboard 11 to input transaction approval information, the banknotes accumulated in the temporary holding unit 27 are stored in the banknote storage 26.

In the case of the withdrawal process, when the operator operates the keyboard 11 to input the number (or amount) of the withdrawal banknotes for each denomination, banknotes are fed out from the banknote storage 26 one by one by the feeding means 28 and are conveyed. It is conveyed to the 2nd discrimination part 29 by 32e, and discrimination | determination is performed about authenticity, a money type, front and back, damage, etc.
As a result, the reject banknote discriminated as a fake bill or the like is transported and stored in the reject banknote storage 30 by the transport paths 32f, 32g, and 32i.

The banknotes identified by the second discrimination unit 29 as genuine bills that can be used for withdrawal are counted by denomination by the second discrimination unit 29 and then sequentially conveyed by the transport paths 32f, 32g, and 32h. When the banknotes of the denomination and number specified by the operator are stacked at the withdrawal port 31, the shutter of the withdrawal port 31 is opened and the banknotes are delivered to the operator. To be paid.

In the case of withdrawal to the sealed small bundle payment machine 4, when the operator operates the keyboard 11 and inputs the number (or amount) of money of each withdrawal banknote, the banknote is stored from the banknote storage 26 by the feeding means 28. Each sheet is fed out one by one and conveyed to the second discrimination unit 29 through the conveyance path 32e, and the authenticity, denomination, front / back, correctness and the like are discriminated.
As a result, the reject banknote discriminated as a fake bill or the like is transported and stored in the reject banknote storage 30 by the transport paths 32f, 32g, and 32i.

The banknotes discriminated as genuine bills that can be used for withdrawal by the second discriminating unit 29 are counted by the second discriminating unit 29 and then conveyed by the transport paths 32f and 32j. After being rotated 90 degrees by the twist conveying unit 33, the banknotes are turned in the horizontal direction and fed into the adjacent replenishing and collecting machine 3.
Then, the banknotes sent to the replenishing and collecting machine 3 are conveyed to the sealed small bundle paying machine 4 through a conveying path provided in the replenishing and collecting machine 3.

In this way, the banknote of the denomination and the number of sheets designated by the operator is withdrawn to the sealed small bundle payment machine 4.
FIG. 7 is a side view showing the internal configuration of the sealed small bundle payment machine 4.
The sealed bundle payer 4 includes an upper unit A and a lower unit B, and the upper unit A transports banknotes from the twist transport unit 41 and the twist transport unit 41 similar to the twist transport unit 33 of the banknote depositing and dispensing machine 1. Conveying path 42, a plurality of sealing and stacking units 43, a distribution unit 44 for distributing the banknotes transported by the transporting path to each sealing and stacking unit 43, and applying a certain number of banknotes (for example, 100 sheets) with a paper band. A sealing unit 45 that is sealed and sent out as a small bundle, and a batch transport unit 46 that collects a predetermined number of bills accumulated in each sealing stacking unit 43 and transports them to the sealing unit 45 are provided. Is an elevator unit 47 that receives a small bundle sent out from the sealing unit 45 and conveys it in the vertical direction, a dispensing port 48 that dispenses a small bundle of banknotes conveyed by this elevator unit 47, and a denomination of a small bundle of banknotes Multiple small pieces to store Bundle storage 49, small bundle hand pusher 50 that moves along the arrangement direction of these small bundle storages 49 to transfer small bundles of banknotes between the elevator unit 47 and the small bundle storage 49, overflow A storage 51 is provided.

In this configuration, when banknotes are deposited from the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1, the banknotes are dispensed from the banknote storage 26 of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 based on the denomination and number of sheets (in units of 100) input by the operator as described above. When the banknotes are conveyed one by one, the banknotes are rotated 90 degrees so that the banknotes can be conveyed in the front-rear direction of the sealed bundle payment machine 4 by the twist conveyance unit 41, and then conveyed by the conveyance path 42. The distribution unit 44 sorts and accumulates on the plurality of sealing and accumulating units 43 according to denominations.

The distribution of the denominations and the management of the accumulated number are controlled by the control unit 6 based on the denomination discrimination result and the counting result in the banknote depositing and dispensing machine 1.
When a predetermined number of banknotes (for example, 100 sheets) are stacked on the sealing stacking unit 43, the banknotes are collectively taken out by the batch transporting unit 46 and transported to the sealing unit 45.
A fixed number of banknotes are sealed with a band of paper in the sealing section 45 and transferred to the elevator section 47 as small bundles of banknotes.

Thereafter, the elevator unit 47 is lowered to the position of the small bundle hand pusher 50, the small bundle of banknotes is transferred to the small bundle hand pusher 50, and the small bundle hand pusher 50 is stored in the small bundle storage of the corresponding denomination. 49, the small bundle bills are stored in the small bundle storage 49.
When the small bundle storage 49 of the corresponding denomination is full, the elevator unit 47 further descends without passing the small bundle of banknotes to the small bundle hand pusher 50, and discharges the small bundle of banknotes to the overflow storage 51.

Further, as the depositing into the small bundle payment machine 4, the storage amount of the banknote storage 26 in the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 becomes equal to or larger than a preset capacity (for example, near-full state), and the state is not illustrated. When it is detected by the sensor, or when the amount stored in the banknote storage 26 reaches the set value of the user and is recognized by the control unit 6 or the like, the banknotes in the banknote storage 26 are automatically sealed in a small bundle. There is a case to move to the payment machine 4.

In this case, the number of banknotes to be transferred to the sealed small bundle payment machine 4 is determined in advance, and the banknotes are paid out from the banknote storage 26 of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 in accordance with an instruction from the control unit 6. A small bundle bill is created and stored in the small bundle storage 49.
By the way, in such a sealed small bundle payment machine 4, when the denomination input by the operator, the number of banknotes, or the banknotes automatically transferred from the banknote depositing and dispensing machine 1 are all stored in the small bundle storage 26. The payment will be finalized.

Therefore, when a failure such as a jam occurs in the bill being conveyed while the bill is being conveyed and processed from the bill depositing / dispensing machine 1 to the sealed bundle payment device 4 as described above, at this time, The banknotes being accumulated in the sealing stacking unit 43 of the sealing small bundle payment machine 4, the banknotes being sealed at the sealing unit 45, and some small banknotes stored in the small bundle storage 49 are still Since it is a banknote of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1, it is necessary to return these banknotes to the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 after failure recovery.

Thus, if the return processing which returns a banknote to the sealing small bundle payment machine 4 is not performed at the time of failure recovery, the actual banknote amount in the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 and the sealing small bundle payment machine 4 and the control unit 6 will be described. Therefore, there is a difference in the amount of banknotes in the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 and the sealed small bundle payment machine 4 that are recognized.
Normally, this return processing is performed by the operator after failure recovery.
FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing processing when a failure occurs, and FIG. 9 is a flowchart showing return processing.

As shown in FIG. 8, when a failure such as a jam occurs at the time of depositing into the small bundle payment machine 4 (S11), the control unit 6 determines whether or not the payment into the small bundle payment machine 4 has been confirmed. It is determined whether a return process is necessary (S12).
When the deposit is confirmed, the control unit 6 moves to S14 as a return process is not necessary (for example, it is not an obstacle during the deposit process in the sealed bundle payment machine 4), but the return process is necessary. In this case, the control unit 6 displays a message prompting the operator to execute the return process on the display unit 10 (S13).

Thereafter, the control unit 6 monitors the state of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1, the sealed bundle payment machine 4, the replenishment collection machine 3 and the like to determine whether or not the failure has been recovered (S14). When waiting for recovery and recovery, the control unit returns the cash processing apparatus to the normal business state (operation state) (S15).
Note that banknotes being transported by the recovery process at this time, banknotes being accumulated in the sealing stacking unit 35 of the sealing small bundle payment machine 4, banknotes being sealed at the sealing unit 45, etc. All banknotes that are being deposited other than the small bundle banknotes in the small bundle storage 49 in the machine 4 are collected by the operator.

In accordance with the message displayed on the display unit 10 as described above, the operator instructs the return processing shown in FIG.
As a result, the control unit 6 instructs the sealed small bundle payment machine 4 to perform a detailed examination, and based on this instruction, the sealed small bundle payment machine 4 performs a detailed examination of the small bundle banknotes in the small bundle storage 49. The
This scrutiny detects the number of bundles of small bundle banknotes stored for each small bundle storage 49 by a sensor attached to each small bundle storage 49, and before the deposit process that the control unit 6 grasps. This is done by comparing with the number of small bundles of bills in each small bundle storage 49.

Then, based on the result of this examination, the control unit 6 determines whether or not there are excessive small bundle banknotes in the small bundle storage 49 (S22). Information indicating the number of bundles and the small bundle storage 49 in which the small bundle banknotes are stored (for example, a number or denomination previously assigned to the small bundle storage) is displayed on the display unit 10.
Here, the operator opens the sealed small bundle payer 4 and pulls out the lower unit B, extracts an excessive small bundle banknote from the small bundle storage 49 (S23), removes the band of the small bundle banknote, and recovers the failure. It is set in the bill insertion slot 21 of the bill depositing / dispensing machine 1 together with the bills collected at times.

Thereby, a banknote is returned to the banknote storage 26 by the banknote depositing / withdrawing machine 1 similarly to a depositing process, and the process is terminated (S24).
In addition, when the control unit 6 determines that there are no excessive small bundled banknotes based on the result of the scrutiny, information to that effect is displayed on the display unit 10, whereby the operator collects the banknotes collected at the time of failure recovery from the banknote depositing and dispensing machine. 1 is set in the bill insertion slot 21 and returned to the bill storage 26 in the same manner as described above, and the process is terminated (S24).

FIG. 10 is a flowchart showing the processing when the failure recovery and return processing are performed simultaneously.
In this processing, if a failure such as a jam occurs during the deposit processing to the sealed bundle payment machine 4 (S31), the control unit 6 prompts the operator to perform failure recovery processing and return processing. Is displayed on the display unit 10, and it is determined whether or not failure recovery and return processing have been performed from the state of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 and the sealed bundle payment machine 4 (S32).

If either of the failure recovery and return processing has not been performed, the process waits for the processing to be performed, and when both the failure recovery and return processing are completed, the control unit causes the cash processing apparatus to perform normal operations. It returns to the state (operation state) (S33).
In this case, the operator performs the recovery process according to the message, and the banknotes being transported at that time, the banknotes being accumulated in the sealing stacking unit 35 of the sealing bundle payer 4, and being sealed by the sealing unit 45 All the banknotes in the deposit processing other than the small bundle banknotes in the small bundle storage 49 in the sealed small bundle payment machine 4 are collected, and the return processing is executed in the same manner as described above.

However, in the above-described conventional technology, when failure recovery and return processing are performed separately, the operator may postpone the return processing when there is enough time, etc., and perform another deposit / withdrawal processing, etc. If you forget to perform the return process, the bank deposit / withdrawal machine and the sealed bundle payment machine data will be recognized later by the control unit and the actual amount of the banknote deposit / withdrawal machine and the sealed bundle payment machine. There is a problem that the difference between above and below is difficult.

In addition, when performing failure recovery and return processing at the same time, other processing cannot be performed until the return processing is completed, and thus there is a problem that trouble occurs when there is a transaction that must be processed quickly.
The present invention aims to solve such problems.

Therefore, the present invention provides a deposit / withdrawal machine for depositing / withdrawing banknotes, and a depositing function for depositing by stacking a certain number of banknotes conveyed from the banknote depositing / dispensing machine and storing them in a small bundle storage. And a cash processing apparatus provided with a sealed small bundle payment machine having a withdrawal function for taking out banknotes from the small bundle storage and withdrawing from the withdrawal port, and a display unit for displaying information. After recovery from a failure that occurred during the processing of the banknotes delivered from the banknote storage of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine to the sealed bundle payment machine, processing to the sealed bundle payment machine is confirmed. A means for inquiring whether or not to immediately execute a return process for returning a bank note that has not been returned to the banknote depositing / dispensing machine; And enable the display unit etc. And performing display to shift to processing at all times.

Since the present invention as described above allows the operator to select whether or not to execute the return process immediately after failure recovery, if there is a transaction that must be processed quickly, the transaction etc. It is possible to process with priority, so that it is possible to prevent troubles from occurring in business, and in order to constantly display on the screen of the display section for shifting to the return processing, It is also possible to prevent forgetting to perform the processing, whereby the banknote depositing / dispensing machine and the sealed bundle shipping machine recognized by the control unit and the actual amount of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine and the sealed bundle dispensing machine can be prevented. The effect that it is possible to eliminate the occurrence of difficult differences in the data is obtained.

Hereinafter, the best mode of a cash machine according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
<First form>
FIG. 1 is a flowchart showing the first embodiment.
In addition, since the structure itself of the cash processing apparatus in this 1st form is the same as that of the past, what was shown in FIGS. 4-7 is used about a component name and code | symbol.

However, it is a matter of course that the control program viewed by the automatic transaction apparatus that implements the first embodiment is different from the conventional one.
FIG. 1 is a flowchart showing the operation of the first embodiment.
In the same way as before, the banknotes fed out from the banknote storage 26 of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 are transported to the sealed small bundle payment machine 4, and there are obstacles such as jams while the small bundle banknotes are created and deposited. If it occurs (S 1), the control unit 6 displays a message for prompting a failure recovery process on the display unit 10.

The operator performs failure recovery processing according to this message.
After displaying the message, the control unit 6 monitors the state of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1 and the sealed bundle payment machine 4 to determine whether or not the failure has been recovered (S2). Wait for.
However, if the operator does not recover even if the recovery operation is performed a certain number of times (for example, 3 times), the function of that portion is set to the degenerate mode. It is assumed that the degeneration of this function can be canceled at an arbitrary timing.

When the failure is recovered, the control unit 6 determines whether the return process is necessary. If the return process is necessary, the control unit 6 displays a screen asking whether to perform the return process immediately on the display unit 10.
FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an example of the display screen at this time. As shown in the figure, this display screen asks the operator whether or not to execute the return process such as “Do you want to execute the cash return process?” In addition, an “execute” button 55a and an “execute later” button 55b are displayed.

The operator presses the “execute” button 55a or the “execute later” button 55b by operating the keyboard 11, and the control unit 6 determines whether to execute the return process immediately depending on which of the buttons 55a or 55b is pressed. (S3).
When the operator depresses the “execute” button 55a, the control unit 6 determines that the return process is to be executed immediately, and causes the sealed small bundle payment machine 4 to perform a small bundle scrutiny as in the conventional case.

Then, the control unit 6 determines whether or not there are excessive small bundle banknotes in the small bundle storage 49 based on the scrutinized result. A bundle of banknotes is removed from the small bundle storage 49.
Here, the operator sets the banknotes collected at the time of failure recovery in the banknote slot 21 of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1, and automatically stores the banknotes in the banknote storage 26 of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1, thereby executing the return process. (S4), and shifts to a normal operation (S6).

In addition, when the control part 6 judges that there is no excessive small bundle banknote by the said close examination result, an operator sets only the banknote collect | recovered at the time of failure recovery to the banknote insertion slot 21 of the banknote depositing / withdrawing machine 1, and returns processing Is executed (S4), and the routine shifts to a normal operation (S6).
On the other hand, when the operator depresses the “execute later” button 55b, the control unit 6 determines that the return process is not immediately executed, and allows the display unit 10 to return to the display screen of the display unit 10 so that the process can be performed as needed. The screen is always displayed.

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of the screen at this time. As shown in FIG. 3 (a), for example, together with a plurality of buttons 56 for selecting a transaction, a display for enabling transition to return processing at any time is shown as “cash The “Return processing” button 57 is displayed, and then the routine shifts to a normal operation (S6).
This “cash return processing” button 57 is always displayed even if the display screen is switched by selecting a transaction or the like, and when the operator presses this “cash return processing” button 57 by operating the keyboard 11, FIG. The screen is switched as shown in 3 (b).

On this screen, an “execute” button 58 for instructing execution of cash return processing and a “cancel” button 59 for instructing cancellation are displayed. The operator presses the “execute” button 58 by operating the keyboard 11. Then, the return process can be performed in the same procedure as described above.
When the “Cancel” button 59 is pressed, the routine returns to normal work.
According to the first embodiment described above, since there is an operator to select whether or not to perform immediate return processing after failure recovery, when there is a transaction that must be processed quickly, Transactions can be prioritized for processing, so that it is possible to prevent business problems from occurring, and after that, display for shifting to the return processing is always performed on the screen of the display unit thereafter. For this reason, it is possible to prevent forgetting to perform the return processing, and thereby the banknote depositing / dispensing machine and the sealing small are recognized by the control unit as the actual amount of the banknote depositing / dispensing machine and the sealing bundle payment machine. An effect is obtained that it is possible to eliminate a difference that is difficult to make in the data of the bundle payment machine.

Next, the second embodiment will be described.
This 2nd form utilizes the withdrawal function of the sealed small bundle payment machine 4.
That is, during the return process after recovery from a failure or the like, when the small bundle banknote is scrutinized by the sealed small bundle payment machine 4 and there is a small bundle banknote that needs to be returned as a result, the small bundle bill 49 is returned. The necessary number of denomination bundles is taken out by the small bundle hand pusher 50, discharged to the operator from the small bundle dispensing port 48 by the elevator unit 47, set in the banknote depositing / dispensing machine 1, and executed for return processing. .

Other processes are the same as those in the first embodiment.
According to the second embodiment, the operator uses the withdrawal function of the sealed bundle dispenser to discharge the bundle of banknotes that need to be returned from the small bundle dispensing port and receive the operator. However, the operation of pulling out the lower unit from the sealed small bundle payer and extracting the small bundle banknotes from the small bundle storage is not necessary, and it is possible to prevent the operator from forgetting to remove the cash.
