Description
Claims (7)
- 送受信および無線通信の処理のための一意のハンドセットIDを有するハンドセットと、
IPアドレス、PLMN情報およびIMSI情報を含むユーザ固有の情報を格納し、一意の記憶モジュールIDを有する取り外し可能な記憶モジュールと、
認証のために前記IPアドレス又は前記IMSI情報を選択的に送信して、少なくともセルラネットワークおよびIPネットワークとの接続を確立する手段と、
前記IMSI情報を用いて確立された接続を介して前記セルラネットワークと通信する手段と、
前記モバイル装置を認証するための前記IPアドレスを用いて前記IPネットワークにアクセスする手段と、
セルラネットワークとの確立された接続を破棄し、既存のセルラネットワークサービスをIPネットワーク経由でルーティングする手段と
を備えたことを特徴とするモバイル装置。 - 前記モバイル装置は、マルチネットワーク対応機能を備え、前記IPネットワークおよび前記セルラネットワークへ並列に通信することができることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモバイル装置。
- 前記取り外し可能な記憶モジュールは、SIMであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモバイル装置。
- 前記取り外し可能な記憶モジュールは、USIMであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモバイル装置。
- 前記取り外し可能な記憶モジュールは、スマートカードであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモバイル装置。
- モバイル装置と複数のネットワークとの間の通信を確立する通信方法であって、前記モバイル装置が一意の記憶モジュールIDを有する取り外し可能な記憶モジュールを含み、
(a)前記取り外し可能な記憶モジュールにおいて、IPアドレスおよびIMSI情報を含む、ユーザ固有の情報を提供するステップと、
(b)前記モバイル装置が、前記IMSI情報を用いて確立された接続を介してセルラネットワークと通信するステップと、
(c)前記モバイル装置が、前記モバイル装置を認証するための前記IPアドレスを用いてIPネットワークにアクセスするステップと、
(d)前記モバイル装置が、前記セルラネットワークとの確立された接続を破棄し、前記IPネットワーク経由で前記セルラネットワークに関連付けられた既存のサービスをルーティングするステップと
を備えたことを特徴とする通信方法。 - 前記IPネットワークは無線LANであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
