Claims (1)
- 原子核燃料ロッド(1)の検査方法であって、
前記原子核燃料ロッド(1)が、クラッド(2)と、このクラッド(2)に対して溶接された端部プラグ(3)と、このプラグ(3)と核燃料(4)との間において圧縮されたコイルスプリング(5)と、を具備する場合に、電磁誘導型検出器(9)を使用して、この検出器(9)に沿って前記ロッドを移動させ、前記検出器の出力信号を測定する、という検査方法において、
前記コイルスプリングの非端部において得られるベース部をなす信号の値S3と、
前記コイルスプリングのうちの、前記プラグ(3)側に位置した一端部(7)による磁気結合に由来するピーク信号の値S4と、
前記コイルスプリングのうちの、前記核燃料(4)側に位置した他端部(8)による磁気結合に由来するピーク信号の値S5と、
を記録し、
前記信号に関し、比(S4−S5)/S3を計算し、
この比がしきい値より大きいかあるいは小さいかに基づいて前記ロッドを合格品とするかあるいは不合格品とするかを決定する、
ことを特徴とする方法。
