Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention mainly relates to a TS processing device installed in a digital video broadcast receiving device or storage device, and particularly provides a TS processing device considering connectivity with an AV decoder.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Digital television broadcasting has begun and digital video technology is being commercialized. In these products, in handling digital video, video data is transmitted as a packet of a predetermined size and other processing in accordance with the MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) standard.

[0012]
In the case of the first packet transmission method, it consists of a data signal (data), a strobe signal (strb), a data valid signal (valid), and a synchronization signal (sync).
[0013]
The data signal is TS data (byte unit), and the strobe signal indicates that the TS data is valid at the rising edge. The data valid signal indicates whether the rising edge of the strobe signal is valid or invalid. In this case, the data at the rising edge of the strobe signal when the data valid signal is H is valid. The synchronization signal indicates the beginning of the packet data. One packet data (188 bytes) is obtained from the synchronization signal in 188 clocks.
[0014]
In the case of the second ES transmission method, a data signal (data), a strobe signal (strb), and a data valid signal (sync) are used. The signal usage is the same as in the packet transmission method.
[0015]
For these techniques, refer to Patent Document 1.

[0018]
The present invention solves the above-described conventional problems. In addition to data transfer in units of TS packets, the ES data transfer method can be used with only one AV interface without increasing the circuit scale. An object of the present invention is to provide a transport stream processing apparatus capable of performing transfer.
[0019]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention extracts a PID filter for filtering necessary transport packets from a transport stream, a PSE extracting means for extracting a PES from the transport stream, and a PTS from the PES. PTS extraction means, ES extraction means for extracting ES from PES, selection means for selecting whether the transport stream is transmitted as packet data or as ES, and packet data when transferring stream data to an AV decoder In the case of data, all the packet data transfer periods are valid. In the case of ES data, the packet data has a synchronization byte, PTS, and a control signal for validating the ES transfer period. , The sync byte part identifies whether the ES data is video or audio Replace the AV identification information is configured to include a AV interface.

FIG. 1 shows a configuration diagram of a transport decoder in Embodiment 1 of the present invention. 100 is a digital broadcast tuner, 200 is a descrambler for decrypting a TS when the TS is scrambled (encryption scheme such as MULTI2), and 300 is a plaintext TS, and 300 is AV data required for the

FIG. 2B shows the case of the ES transmission method. In this case, transmission is performed in units of 188 bytes similar to the packet, and the transmission unit similar to the packet transmission method in FIG. Packet transmission and ES transmission can be made compatible to meet the specifications of the
[0027]
Even in the case of ES transmission, since transmission is performed in units of packets, AV identification information is added to the beginning of the packet instead of the synchronization byte. The synchronization signal (sync) is set to H at the timing of this data.
[0028]
The AV identification data is configured as byte data as shown in FIG. Video and audio packets are identified by 0/1 of the 0th bit.
[0029]
In addition, by controlling the data valid signal (valid), the case of AV identification data and PTS data is validated, and in the case of other data, it is invalidated, thereby validating the PTS and ES in the packet data. Make sure that only the part can be identified.

In addition, it is also possible to perform two systems of transmission for video and audio as shown in FIG. 8B without transferring the AV identification data of FIG. 2B (the valid signal remains L). .

[0033]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the output to the AV decoder of the transport decoder is always performed in units of packets, so that data transfer in units of TS packets as well as the ES data transfer method can be achieved with a circuit scale. Transfer can be performed with only one AV interface without causing an increase. In addition, since the AV output of the transport decoder can support both the packet transmission method and the ES transmission method, the selection range of the AV decoder is widened.
