Description
流路の測地的に最も高い位置に空気抜き装置を配置することによって、空気が集まる箇所において空気抜きが行われる。これによって特に効果的な空気抜きが達成される。これによりひいては、例えばダイヤフラムポンプである搬送装置の高い効率が得られる。特に、流路に存在する空気容積を著しく減じることによって、又は流路から空気を完全に排除することによって、搬送装置の投入接続から還元剤供給までにかかる時間を、著しく短縮することができる。
次に図面を参照しながら本発明の有利な実施例を説明する。
図2は、図1に示された装置の空気抜き装置を部分的に断面して示す図であり、
図3は、内燃機関の排気ガスに還元剤をもたらす装置の第1実施例を示す概略図である。
図1には、内燃機関の排気装置の触媒コンバータが符号10で示されている。排気ガスは、内燃機関の略示された燃焼室12から触媒コンバータ10に供給される。排気ガスは触媒コンバータ10を貫流し、矢印14の方向で触媒コンバータ10から流出する。触媒コンバータ10は、尿素含有の燃料の気化成分との関連において、排気ガス中におけるNOx成分を減じるために働く。そのためにノズル16を介してエーロゾルが排気ガス流内に噴射される。このエーロゾルは、NOx転換のための還元剤として尿素を有している。エーロゾルを製造するためには、図1に全体を符号18で示された装置が働く。
フロート弁40は、円筒状のポット形のベース区分46を備えたハウジング44を有している。ベース区分46の周壁48には、ベース区分46の底部50の領域に開口52が設けられている。この開口52には、タンク20もしくは逆止弁22から延びる管路28が開口している。ベース区分46の上には、ホッパ状に先細の移行区分54が設けられており、この移行区分54には円筒形の弁区分56が一体成形されている。この弁区分56内においては、円筒形の弁体58が、液体に対するシール作用をもって摺動可能に案内されている。結合ロッド60を介して弁体58には、ハウジング44のベース区分46に向かってフロート62が固定されている。
フロート弁40の上流側に位置する管路28の区分に空気が存在している場合、この空気は、装置18の測地的に最も高い箇所に、つまりフロート弁40の空気抜き室76における最も高い箇所に集まる。しかしながら空気抜き室76が空気によって満たされている場合には、フロート62には浮力が加えられず、その結果弁体58は圧縮ばね67によって図2で見て下方に向かって押圧され、空気抜き開口70を完全に開放する。従って空気は空気抜き室76から通路74と空気抜き開口70の完全な横断面とを通って、空気抜き管路42に、ひいては貯蔵タンク20に逃げることができる。
Claims (5)
- 内燃機関の排気ガスに還元剤をもたらす装置(18)であって、還元剤のための貯蔵タンク(20)と搬送装置(26)と流路(28)とが設けられていて、さらに流路(28)の少なくとも1つの領域において空気抜きをする空気抜き装置(40)が設けられている形式のものにおいて、空気抜き装置(40)が、流路(28)の測地的に最も高い位置に配置されており、空気抜き装置(40)が、貯蔵タンク(20)への最小の液体量の戻りを常に可能にする空気抜き開口(70)を有しており、さらに空気抜き装置がフロート弁(40)を有していることを特徴とする、内燃機関の排気ガスに還元剤をもたらす装置。
- 空気抜き装置が電磁弁(40)を有している、請求項1記載の装置(18)。
- 空気抜き装置が絞り(40)を有している、請求項1記載の装置(18)。
- 空気抜き装置(40)がフィルタ(24)に又はフィルタ(24)の近傍に配置されている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の装置(18)。
- 空気抜き装置(40)が、搬送装置(26)の上流に配置されている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の装置(18)。
