以下、本発明にかかる復調器に適用した場合を例に、実施形態について説明する。
本実施形態の復調器10の全体構成例は、図1に示す。

となる。周波数検波器(FSK復調器)11において周波数偏移が正(+)の時のデータ”1”を、周波数偏移が負(−)の時のデータを”0”と、前記データ判定部12がデータ判定するとき、上記のような周波数偏移を示す変調波の周波数検波信号(すなわち、FSK復調データ)は、

これが、図7中でデータシンボル“0”に対応付けられた32チップの相関係数(チップバリュー)である。
前提として、送信機(図示せず)側では、前記条件(a)〜(d)で定義される方式のスペクトラム拡散を行い、その結果を、変調波MS1として送信する。当該変調波MS1は例えば図4(A)に示す波形を持つ。
本実施形態によれば、条件(a)〜(d)によって定義される方式のDSスペクトラム拡散通信のための検波器として回路規模の大きな同期検波器ではなく、周波数検波器(11)すなわちFSK復調器を使用することができるため、復調器(10)全体として回路規模を小さくすることが可能である。
以下では、本実施形態が第1の実施形態と相違する点についてのみ説明する。
本実施形態の復調器20の全体構成例を図9に示す。

本実施形態によれば、第1の実施形態の効果とほぼ同等な効果を得ることができる。
上記第1および第2の実施形態では、図2、図7の符号系列はPN系列となっているが、本発明の適用範囲は必ずしもPN系列に限定する必要はない。
Claims (2)
- 伝送目的の信号に所定の符号系列を対応付けておき、外形上、周波数偏移と擬制し得る形態で、変調波上にこの符号系列が表現される変調方式によりスペクトラム拡散通信を行うとき、この変調波を復調する復調器において、
受信した前記変調波に対し周波数検波を行う周波数検波手段と、
この周波数検波手段の検波結果に応じた信号に対し、所定の相関係数を用いた相関演算を行う相関演算手段とを備え、
当該相関係数として、前記符号系列ではなく、当該符号系列を前記変調方式で変調したあと周波数検波することによって得られる逆拡散用符号系列を用いることを特徴とする復調器。 - 請求項1の復調器において、
前記変調方式として、直交性を利用する変調方式を用い、なおかつ、ある伝送目的信号に対応する逆拡散用符号系列のうち、I相またはQ相の符号を反転したものが他の伝送目的信号に対応する逆拡散用符号系列となっている場合、
前記相関演算手段の相関演算によって求められた相関値が他の相関演算手段の相関演算によって求められた相関値より大きいことに基づき、逆拡散結果として、ある伝送目的信号を得ると共に、同じ相関演算手段の相関演算によって求められた相関値が他の相関演算手段の相関演算によって求められた相関値より小さいことに基づき、逆拡散結果として、他の伝送目的信号を得ることを特徴とする復調器。
