Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pre-coated metal plate used as an outer plate of home appliances, furniture, building materials, automobile parts, and the like, and more particularly, to a pre-coated metal plate excellent in forming processability used for a part to be formed.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, pre-coated metal sheets are applied only to flat parts that are not processed and simple processed parts such as bending, for the use of outer plates such as home appliances, furniture, building materials and automobile parts. A post-coating system in which a metal plate such as a cold-rolled steel plate and a plated steel plate is coated after the forming process is performed on a severely formed portion. However, in recent years, with the increase in the prevalence of precoated metal sheets, precoated metal sheets are being applied to severely formed parts such as drawing.
[0003]
When applying a pre-coated metal sheet to the drawn part, the conventional technology selects a paint film with a high elongation rate by a tensile test of the paint film or a paint film with a good T-bending test result, and performs a cylindrical drawing or rectangular tube drawing test. The one with good evaluation results has been applied to the drawing part.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Drawing process causes tensile and compression distortion on the metal plate, so the pre-coated metal plate consisting only of the stretched film is not sufficiently applied to the drawing process, and the coating film may peel off after processing. Many.
Accordingly, the object of the present invention is to form a film with a good appearance that has a good coating film and follows the deformation of the metal well, and that does not cause coating film peeling or coating film damage even with compression distortion such as drawing. It is providing the precoat metal plate excellent in the property.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a precoated steel sheet excellent in formability that solves the above-mentioned problems, and the gist thereof is as follows.
(1) A lower primer coating and an upper top coating are laminated on the surface of a metal sheet that has been subjected to chemical conversion treatment, and the glass transition temperature of either the primer coating or the top coating is 20 a ~ 30 ° C., and moldability excellent precoated metal sheet, wherein the glass transition temperature of the other coating is a. 10 to 30 ° C..
(2) The precoated metal sheet as described in (1) above, wherein the top coating film is mainly composed of a high molecular polyester resin having a number average molecular weight of 7000 to 30000.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The precoated steel sheet of the present invention will be described in detail below.
In general, when a metal is molded, permanent deformation occurs due to plastic deformation, and the deformed shape is maintained. On the other hand, a polymer material such as a coating film is a viscoelastic body, and particularly when a material having a large elastic element is molded, an internal stress is generated in the deformed portion to return to the original shape.
[0007]
A pre-coated metal plate is a composite material of a metal and a coating film (polymer material). When this is molded, permanent deformation occurs in the metal part due to deformation, while the coating part has its original shape. An internal stress is generated to return. Here, the inventors have found that when the internal stress in the coating film is large, a large step stress acts on the interface between the metal and the coating film, so that the coating film is easily peeled and broken.
[0008]
As a result of examination based on the above-mentioned characteristics, a primer coating and a top coating were laminated on the surface of a metal plate subjected to chemical conversion treatment, and either the primer coating or the top coating Tg. There is a. 20 to 30 ° C., and that the other coating Tg is in the coating film is. 10 to 30 ° C., we found that obtain a precoated metal sheet excellent in formability, in particular, It has been found that it is more preferable to use a high-molecular polyester resin having a number average molecular weight of 7000 to 30000 as the main constituent resin of the top coating film.
[0009]
Primer coating, but the coating film internal stress is small moldability after molding with either the one coating Tg is. 20 to 30 ° C. the topcoat is good, the molding to less than 20 ° C. or too high The internal stress of the paint film after processing increases, and the paint film peels off and breaks at the processed part. Moreover, when the other coating film Tg is 10-30 degreeC, the elongation as a two-layer composite coating film is good, and it follows the deformation | transformation of a metal well .
[0010]
For the main resin of the coating film, generally known resins such as polymer polyester resin, urethane resin, epoxy resin, polyethylene resin and the like used for coating films for pre-coated metal plates can be applied. When a high-molecular polyester resin having a number average molecular weight of 7000 to 30000 is used as the main constituent resin, the elongation as a two-layer composite coating film is further improved as compared with those having a number average molecular weight of less than 7000, which is preferable. Moreover, when a number average molecular weight is 30000 or less, it is suitable when apply | coating a coating film uniformly.
[0011]
As the cross-linking agent for the coating film, generally known ones such as melamine resin and urethane resin can be applied as necessary. If necessary, generally known color pigments such as carbon black, titanium white, phthalocyanine blue, etc., and generally known rust preventive pigments such as strontium chromate, zinc chromate, potassium chromate and the like can be used. .
[0012]
However, since the coating film Tg differs depending on the type and molecular weight of the resin, the type and addition amount of the crosslinking agent, and the type and addition amount of the rust preventive pigment, it is necessary to use the coating film in consideration of the optimum coating film Tg. .
This pre-coated metal sheet can be produced by generally known painting equipment such as brush painting, spray painting, bar coater painting, roller curtain coater, curtain flow coater, roll coater, etc. It is more preferable to carry out the manufacture.
[0013]
【Example】
Examples 1 to 21 of the present invention will be described below. However, in order to distinguish this invention from JP-A-11-221877, the glass transition temperature of the primer coating and the top coating was limited to 30 ° C. or lower, so that Examples 3, 4, 8-14, 17, 18, Reference numerals 22 to 34 are not examples but reference examples.
As a chemical conversion treatment, a coating-type chromate is deposited on the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet with a Cr coating amount of 50 mg / m 2, and the primer coating and top coating shown in Tables 1 and 2 are applied on it with a bar coater. A plate was made. The primer coating was 5 μm in dry thickness, and the top coating was 15 μm in dry weight.
[0014]
Using the prepared precoated metal sheet, a drawing test and a T-bending test were performed. For the drawing test, using a hydraulic press testing machine, punch size: 70mm, punch shoulder R: 10mm, punch corner R: 10mm, die shoulder R: 10mm, die corner R: 10mm The molding height was processed to 30 mm, and the state of coating film destruction at the corner drawing portion after processing was visually observed. The coating film breaking condition was evaluated in three stages. The case where there was no coating film breakage or peeling was evaluated as “◯”, the case where coating film breakage or peeling was slightly, “Δ”, and the case where coating film peeling or breakage was remarkable as “X”. As for the T-bending test, a 2T bending test is performed at room temperature, and the coating film processed part is observed with a 20-fold magnifier, ◎ if there is no crack at all, ○ if there is a very small crack, ○ if there is a crack The ones with △ and the ones with large cracks were marked with ×.
[0015]
As a result of the test, Examples of the present invention are shown in Tables 1-2. When the glass transition temperature of the top coating film is 20 to 50 ° C. and the glass transition temperature of the primer coating film is 40 ° C. or less as in Examples 1 to 14 of the present invention, both drawability and T-foldability are good and molding processability is good. Contrary to this, even when the glass transition temperature of the primer coating is 20 to 50 ° C. and the glass transition temperature of the top coating is 40 ° C. or less (Invention Examples 15 to 28), drawing workability is good. , T-foldability is good and molding processability is good. Moreover, even if it changes the kind of main resin of a primer coating film and a top coating film like this invention example 29-34, if coating film Tg is in the above-mentioned conditions, molding processability is favorable, and this invention example 1 When the high-molecular polyester resin having a number average molecular weight of 7000 or more is used for the top coating film as in -4, 6-11, 13-30, the T-foldability is improved, which is more preferable.

[Table 1]
Figure 0004132175
[0017]
[Table 2]
Figure 0004132175
[0018]
A comparative example is shown in Table 3. Even if the coating film Tg of either the primer coating film or the top coating film is 10 to 40 ° C. as shown in Comparative Examples 1 to 4 and 9 to 12, when the other is less than 20 ° C. or more than 50 ° C., Not suitable for poor drawability. Further, as in Comparative Examples 5 to 8 and 13 to 16, even if one of the Tg is 20 to 50 ° C., if the other is more than 40 ° C., both drawability and T-foldability are not suitable. Further, as in Comparative Examples 17 and 18, even if either Tg is 20 to 50 ° C., the other is less than 10 ° C., the coating film is too soft. It is not suitable because it is peeled off and destroyed by rubbing. As shown in Comparative Example 19, when the number average molecular weight of the main constituent resin of the coating film exceeds 30000, it is difficult to uniformly coat the coating film.
[0019]
[Table 3]
Figure 0004132175
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the pre-coated metal plate of the present invention is obtained by laminating the primer coating and the top coating on the surface of the metal plate subjected to the chemical conversion treatment, and either the primer coating or the top coating Tg. 20-30 ° C, and the glass transition temperature of the other coating is 10-30 ° C, so that not only bending but also severe molding such as drawing, coating peeling and coating cracking occur. do not do.
[0021]
As a result, it becomes possible to use the pre-coated metal plate even in severely formed parts such as deep drawing, and the application of the pre-coated metal plate is widened. In addition, products that currently use pre-coated metal sheets for bending can be manufactured by drawing, increasing the degree of freedom in product design and expanding the shape of the workpiece. Therefore, the present invention can be said to be an invention with extremely high industrial value.
