本発明は主としてテレビジョン受像機等の映像音響機器に使用されるスピーカに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
テレビジョン受像機は、スピーカを両側に配置するため角型や楕円型等の細長構造のスピーカが用いられてきたが、陰極線管の横長化に伴い、スピーカの幅を狭くすることが求められると共に、画面の高画質化に対応した音声の高音質化も要求されてきている。

ここで、従来の細長構造のスピーカについて、図3〜図7により説明する。

図3はスピーカの側断面図、図4(a),(b)は同要部である振動板の斜視図と断面図、図5は同振動板を用いたスピーカの音圧周波数特性図、図6(a),(b)は他の従来のスピーカの要部である振動板の斜視図と断面図、図7は同振動板を用いたスピーカの音圧周波数特性図である。なお、図4、図6には振動板の斜視図とともに説明のために要部引出断面図を記載している。

まず、スピーカの構成について図3により説明する。

同図によるとスピーカは、中心に円柱状のセンターポール1aを有したボトムプレート1上にリング状マグネット2及びトッププレート3を配置し、このトッププレート3の内周とボトムプレート1のセンターポール1aで磁気空隙4を形成し、上記トッププレート3上にフレーム5を接合し、ボイスコイル6の巻線部が上記磁気空隙4の中心に位置されるように外周を上記フレーム5に結合し、内周をボイスコイル6に結合したダンパー7によってボイスコイル6を支持し、このボイスコイル6の筒状ボビンと振動板8の中央の透孔8aを接着し、振動板8のエッジ部9の外周に平坦部を設けてフレーム5と接着固定し、上記平坦部上に更にガスケット10を接着固定して構成している。なお、11はダストキャップである。

以上のように構成されたスピーカについて、以下にその動作を説明する。磁気空隙4の中央に位置した平行磁界中のボイスコイル6は電気入力が印加されると、フレミングの左手の法則により、上下方向に力を発生する。その力はボイスコイル6よりその筒状ボビンを経て振動板8へと伝わる。振動板8は前面の空気を振動させ音を発生させるものである。

次に要部である振動板8について詳細に図4(a),(b)により説明すると、振動板8は概ね4つの平面部8b,8c,8d,8eで構成され、それらの境界には稜線8fが境界の接続面である曲面Rにて形成されている。このような振動板を用いたスピーカの周波数特性を図5に示す。

また、図6は他の従来技術による振動板であり、振動板全体を長径・短径方向共に湾曲させたものもあるが、一部断面引出図からも明らかなように、中央部も含めすべて同一方向からの曲線の集積となっているものであった。

なお、図5,図7はそれぞれ上記振動板8をスピーカ口径サイズは、長さ20cm×幅4cmの長円形状での振動板として作製し、スピーカを組み立ててスピーカ周波数特性を測定した結果である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述のスピーカは、図5,図7より明らかなごとく細長の振動板8の中央部を点駆動するものであるため、長軸方向の分轄共振が発生し易く中高域では再生音圧の周波数特性上にピークディップを生じ、音質の劣化を招くものであった。これは振動板8が面強度、面剛性、ねじれ等に弱く、周波数特性と音質を悪化させるという課題を有するものであった。

本発明は上記課題を解決するもので、細長構造でありながら分割共振が起こりにくく、且つ平坦な周波数特性が得られる音質の優れたスピーカを提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明のスピーカは、中央透孔の両短径側外周部分を頂点とする略三角形状の平面部と、上記平面部を除く上記中央透孔から略長径方向の外縁線には直線で断面が曲線となる曲線部と、上記平面部と上記曲線部が曲面で連続した振動板を用いてスピーカを構成するものであり、曲面と平面の組み合わせで立体的強度が増し、面強度、面剛性、ねじれ等に強い振動板が得られ、細長形状での共振が発生しにくく、フラットに近い優れた周波数特性のスピーカが得られるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明のスピーカの請求項1に記載の発明は、中央透孔の両短径側外周部分を頂点とする略三角形状の平面部と、上記平面部を除く上記中央透孔から略長径方向の外縁線には直線で断面が曲線となる曲線部と、上記平面部と上記曲線部が曲面で連続して曲面と平面の組み合わせで立体的強度を向上し、面強度、面剛性、ねじれ等に強くした振動板を用いてスピーカを構成するものであり、細長形状での共振が発生しにくく、フラットに近い優れた周波数特性のスピーカが得られるものである。
