BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an AC-AC direct converter that directly converts a multi-phase AC voltage into an AC voltage having an arbitrary magnitude and frequency using a semiconductor switching element, and outputs the AC voltage by matching the input and output frequencies of the converter. The present invention relates to a control method for avoiding heat concentration in a semiconductor switching element.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of a matrix converter, heat concentration occurs when the frequency of the input voltage (hereinafter also referred to as the input frequency) and the frequency of the output voltage (also referred to as the output frequency) completely coincide. For example, in FIG. 6, when the frequency and phase of the R-phase voltage and U-phase voltage match, current flows only through the switching elements S RU and S UR for the switch group connected to the R-phase. At this time, since the S-phase and the V-phase and the T-phase and the W-phase coincide with each other, the current flows only through the switching elements S SV and S VS in the switch group connected to the S-phase. For the switch group, current flows only through the switching elements S TW and S WT .

As described above, when current flows in only one bidirectional switch in each of the

[0010]
Accordingly, the present invention avoids heat concentration on the switching element when the input / output frequencies match in the AC-AC direct converter, and protects the element, reduces the size of the radiating fin, and lowers the cost of the entire device. It aims to provide a control method that enables continuous operation.

When the frequency of the input voltage of the AC-AC direct converter and the frequency of the output voltage approach each other, the frequency of the output voltage of the AC-AC direct converter is changed by changing the slip frequency of the induction motor for the same torque. It is something to be made.
[0012]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided an AC-AC direct converter control method according to the first aspect of the present invention.
When the frequency of the input voltage of the AC-AC direct converter and the frequency of the output voltage approach, the secondary magnetic flux command of the induction motor is changed to change the slip frequency of the induction motor with respect to the same torque. is there.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, the induction motor is driven by a matrix converter as the AC-AC direct converter shown in FIG.
[0015]
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a first embodiment corresponding to
[0016]
On the other hand, each phase power supply voltage detected by the power supply voltage detection means 4 is input to the input current control means 5 together with the input current command of the matrix converter. The input current control means 4 controls each phase input current of the matrix converter to match the input current command according to the power supply voltage.
[0017]
Here, the matrix converter can be considered as a combination of a virtual rectifier corresponding to a current source PWM rectifier connected to a three-phase AC power supply and a virtual inverter corresponding to a PWM inverter driving an induction motor. A method for controlling a matrix converter by synthesizing PWM pulses for a virtual rectifier and a virtual inverter is known (for example, Rie Ito and Isao Takahashi, “Non-interference control method of input / output reactive power in matrix converter”, Electric (See SPC-01-121, IEA-01-64, etc.)
[0018]
Therefore, the PWM pulse generating means 6 in FIG. 6 inputs the output voltage command of the virtual inverter from the vector control means 3, and also inputs the input current command of the virtual rectifier from the input current control means 5, and these commands, carrier, Are combined to generate a PWM pulse (gate pulse) for each switching element of the matrix converter.
Although FIG. 1 shows the case where vector control is used as the control method for the induction motor, the control method is not limited to vector control, and other methods may be used.
[0019]
The main principle of the present invention will be described below.
The generated torque T of the induction motor is expressed by two orthogonal rotation axes based on the magnetic flux position of the motor (M is the suffix of the component parallel to the magnetic flux axis and T is the suffix of the orthogonal component). If the secondary magnetic flux is φ 2M and the primary current is i 1T , it is expressed by
[0020]
[Expression 1]
[0021]
On the other hand, the slip angular frequency ω s of the induction motor is expressed by
[0022]
[Expression 2]
[0023]
When the relationship between the torque T, the secondary magnetic flux φ 2M , and the slip angular frequency ω s is obtained from
[0024]
[Equation 3]
[0025]
Further, the output angular frequency of the matrix converter, that is, the primary angular frequency ω 1 of the induction motor is expressed by Expression 4 when the secondary angular frequency is ω 2 . Note that the angular frequency is synonymous with frequency because of the relationship of ω = 2πf.
[0026]
[Expression 4]
[0027]
That is, as shown in
[0028]
FIG. 2 shows the operation of the magnetic flux command generating means 7 in FIG. 1, and shows the relationship between the output frequency command ω 1 * as an input and the secondary magnetic flux command φ 2M * as an output. In the magnetic flux command generating means 7, when the output frequency command ω 1 * approaches the input frequency (power supply frequency) of the matrix converter, the secondary magnetic flux command φ 2M * is decreased to decrease the magnetic flux of the induction motor.
[0029]
As a result, if the torque T in
Also, every time a certain period of time elapses, the secondary magnetic flux command is changed to change the output frequency, the phase relationship between the input voltage and the output voltage is changed, and then the secondary magnetic flux command is returned to the steady level. Also good.
[0030]
According to this embodiment, in each
[0031]
Next, FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing a reference embodiment of the present invention . For example, when a synchronous motor is used as an AC motor, since the synchronous motor does not have a slip frequency, the output angular frequency ω1 cannot be changed by controlling the slip angular frequency ωs as in the first embodiment.
[0032]
Therefore, in this reference embodiment, instead of the magnetic flux command generating means 7 in the first embodiment, the speed command modulating means 8 is provided as shown in FIG.
FIG. 4 shows the operation of the speed command modulation means 8 when the output frequency of the matrix converter is near the input frequency.
That is, the speed command modulation means 8 in FIG. 3 modulates the speed command as shown in FIG. 4 when the output frequency of the matrix converter (in other words, the speed command ω * of the synchronous motor) is near the input frequency. Change slowly and output as speed command ω M * . In addition, since the average value of the speed command ω M * matches the original speed command ω * , there is no problem in terms of speed control.
[0033]
According to this reference embodiment, it is possible to avoid the output frequency of the matrix converter from matching the input frequency by changing the speed command ω M * .
Although varied slowly FIG speed command omega M * At, it may be jump speed command omega M * to avoid the area where the output frequency becomes close to the input frequency.
[0034]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, in an AC-AC converter such as a matrix converter, the slip angular frequency is changed when an induction motor is driven, or the speed command is changed when a synchronous motor is driven. By doing so, the input frequency and the output frequency are prevented from matching with each other, so that the thermal concentration of the bidirectional switch can be suppressed and the switching element can be prevented from being destroyed. Moreover, since heat concentration is reduced, it contributes to downsizing of the cooling fins.
Further, it is not necessary to temporarily interrupt the operation of the apparatus as in
