BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hydraulic-mechanical transmission including a hydraulic continuously variable transmission and a mechanical transmission having a planetary gear unit.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a hydraulic-mechanical transmission configured by combining a hydraulic continuously variable transmission and a mechanical transmission having a planetary gear portion is known. In such a hydraulic-mechanical transmission, power is input from one end side of a pump shaft of a hydraulic continuously variable transmission as an input shaft, and the other end portion of the pump shaft and an input portion of a planetary gear unit. Are connected to each other via a gear and power is input to the planetary gear unit. The hydraulic continuously variable transmission and the planetary gear unit connected via the gears are arranged side by side in the left-right direction or the up-down direction. Further, in the sun gear, the planetary gear, and the ring gear constituting the planetary gear portion of the mechanical transmission, the sun gear and the planetary gear are configured as external gears, and the ring gear is configured as an internal gear.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, as described above, the pump shaft of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission and the input portion of the planetary gear portion are connected via a gear, and the hydraulic continuously variable transmission and the planetary gear portion are arranged in parallel. The transmission efficiency of the power decreases due to the meshing of the gears, and the case in which the hydraulic continuously variable transmission and the planetary gear unit are housed, that is, the hydraulic-mechanical transmission becomes larger in the left-right direction and the vertical direction, for example. It was. In addition, since the ring gear of the planetary gear portion is formed on the internal gear, the ring gear is arranged on the outer peripheral portion of the planetary gear, which increases the size of the planetary gear portion and increases the number of teeth. It was expensive.
