Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a hydraulic-mechanical continuously variable transmission (HMT) that combines a hydraulic continuously variable transmission (HST) and a planetary gear mechanism, and is driven only by the HST by separating the planetary gear mechanism by clutch switching. It relates to what is configured to be able to.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, the engine power is branched and one is transmitted to the planetary gear mechanism, and the other is continuously transmitted through the HST and then transmitted to the planetary gear mechanism. The planetary gear mechanism synthesizes and outputs both powers. A hydraulic-mechanical continuously variable transmission having a configuration is known. In addition, a configuration is also known in which the clutch can be switched as necessary to disconnect the planetary gear mechanism and directly output the HST output. For example, in the technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-127783, a hydraulic-mechanical drive (HMT mode) is used from a medium speed range to a high speed range, and a low speed range is hydraulic drive (HST mode). The clutch is engaged / disengaged to switch the drive mode. Specifically, the engine power is transmitted to the pump shaft and the planetary gear portion of the HST hydraulic pump, and a first clutch is disposed between the motor shaft and the planetary gear portion of the HST hydraulic motor, and the motor shaft and A second clutch is arranged between the drive shaft located on the more downstream side of the power and connects the planetary gear unit and the drive shaft. In the low speed range, the first and second clutches are set to “disengaged” and “engaged” respectively, and the HST mode is set. In the medium speed range, the first and second clutches are set to “engaged” and “disengaged”, respectively. It becomes HMT mode. This technology makes it possible to finely adjust the driving force by using a hydraulic drive in the low speed range, while improving the transmission efficiency of the driving force by using a hydraulic-mechanical drive from medium speed to high speed. Excellent in terms.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Here, in the above technique, in order to transmit the output of the planetary gear unit to the drive shaft when the HMT mode is set, the planetary gear unit and the drive shaft are always interlocked and connected. Accordingly, in the HST mode, the motor shaft of the HST hydraulic motor is connected to the drive shaft, so that it is not necessary to synthesize the power in the planetary gear portion, but the power flows back from the drive shaft to the planetary gear portion, and the planetary gear. Will be idle. Since the engine power is constantly transmitted to the planetary gear unit, the planetary gear unit rotates by a small amount even if there is no backflow. However, due to this backflow, the planetary gear unit rotates violently. This shortens the life of the planetary gear section, generates unnecessary heat, and increases power transmission loss.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The problems to be solved by the present invention are as described above. Next, means for solving the problems will be described.
In claim 1, the motive power from the engine (20) is supplied to the hydraulic pump (22) as an input portion of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission (21) and to the sun gear (1st element of the planetary gear mechanism (10)). 1), a hydraulic motor (23) which is an output portion of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission (21) and a carrier (5) which is a second element of the planetary gear mechanism (10). A first clutch (13) that is engaged in the “HMT drive mode” is disposed between the hydraulic motor (23) that is an output portion of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission (21), and the hydraulic motor. [0009]
[Travel drive system]
First, the traveling drive system will be described. As shown in FIG. 2, the HST 21 includes a hydraulic pump 22 and a hydraulic motor 23, and both 21 and 22 are attached to a flat center section 32 and are accommodated in an HST housing 31. The center section 32 is fixed to the mission case 33.
[0010]
An input shaft 25 passes through the rotational axis of the hydraulic pump 22 of the HST 21, and the input shaft 25 transmits power from the engine 20 as a drive source to the hydraulic pump 22, and the planetary gear mechanism 10 will be described later. Power is transmitted to the PTO shaft 53 shown in FIG. 3 via the PTO drive system described later. The cylinder block 22b of the hydraulic pump 22 is engaged with the input shaft 25 so that relative rotation is impossible, and the cylinder block 22b is driven together with the input shaft 25. A plurality of plungers 22c are slidably disposed on the cylinder block 22b, and a movable swash plate 22a is in contact with the head of the plunger 22c. The movable swash plate 22a is pivotably supported, and the volume of the hydraulic pump 22 can be changed by adjusting the tilt angle. The hydraulic oil discharged by the hydraulic pump 22 is sent to the hydraulic motor 23 through an oil passage provided in the center section 32. Similarly, by driving a fixed displacement hydraulic motor 23 composed of a cylinder block, a plunger, etc., the rotational speed and direction of the motor output shaft 26 of the hydraulic motor 23 are controlled. In the HST 21 of this embodiment, only the hydraulic pump is a variable displacement type and the hydraulic motor is a fixed displacement type, but the invention is not limited to the HST having the configuration. For example, the present invention can be applied to a configuration in which both the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor are variable displacement types.
[0011]
The configuration of the mission 30 will be described with reference to FIGS. The mission 30 is covered by a mission case 33, and the transmission case 33 is provided with an input shaft 25, a motor output shaft 26, a drive shaft 27, a sub-transmission shaft 28, a PTO shaft 53, etc. arranged horizontally and in the front-rear direction. These are supported so as to be rotatable. A planetary gear mechanism 10 is provided in the mission case 33. The planetary gear mechanism 10 is disposed behind the hydraulic pump 22 of the HST 21 and includes a sun gear 1, a planetary gear 2, an output gear 3, a carrier 5, and the like which will be described later.
[0012]
On the other hand, two gears 11 and 12 are loosely fitted on the motor output shaft 26 of the HST 21, and the first hydraulic clutch 13 is connected between the gear 11 and the motor output shaft 26, and the gear 12 and the motor output. Second hydraulic clutches 14 are interposed between the shafts 26, respectively. These two hydraulic clutches 13 and 14 are used to switch between two drive modes (HMT drive mode and HST drive mode), and either one of the two hydraulic clutches 13 or 14 is engaged according to the drive mode. By disengaging the other, power is transmitted from the motor output shaft 26 to one of the gears 11 and 12.
[0013]
The input shaft 25 extends through the center section 32 of the HST 21 into the mission case 33, and the planetary gear mechanism 10 is provided on the extended portion. The planetary gear mechanism 10 will be described. The sun gear 1 as the first element of the planetary gear mechanism is engaged with the input shaft 25 so as not to rotate relative to the input shaft 25, the planetary gear 2 is a double gear, one gear 2a meshes with the sun gear 1, and the other The gear 2 b meshes with the output gear 3 that is a third element disposed concentrically with the sun gear 1. Here, the planetary gear 2 is rotatably supported by a carrier 5 as a second element loosely fitted on the input shaft 25, and is configured to revolve with the carrier 5 while rotating. A gear 6 is fixed to the carrier 5, and the gear 6 meshes with the gear 11 that is loosely fitted on the motor output shaft 26.
[0014]
The output gear 3 of the planetary gear mechanism 10 is formed at the front end portion of the pipe shaft 7 that is loosely fitted on the input shaft 25, and the gear 8 is free to rotate relative to the rear end of the pipe shaft 7. It is fitted. A third clutch 19 is interposed between the gear 8 and the pipe shaft 7, and the clutch 19 is configured to be engaged and disengaged by a hydraulically driven shifter.
[0015]
On the other hand, a drive shaft 27 is disposed in parallel with the motor output shaft 26 of the HST 21, and a gear 16 is fixed on the drive shaft 27 and meshed with the gear 8. A gear 15 is further fixed on the drive shaft 27, and the gear 15 meshes with the gear 12 that is loosely fitted on the motor output shaft 26. As shown in FIG. 3, a transmission shaft 34 is coupled to the rear end of the drive shaft 27 via a coupling, and two gears 17 and 18 are fixed to the rear portion of the transmission shaft 34.
[0016]
A sub-transmission shaft 28 is supported in parallel with the transmission shaft 34, and gears 60 and 61 are loosely fitted on the sub-transmission shaft 28. The gears 60 and 61 mesh with the gears 17 and 18 to each other. Driving at different speeds. Then, by operating the sub-transmission clutch 62 provided on the sub-transmission shaft 28, the rotational drive force of either one of the gears 60 and 61 can be transmitted to the sub-transmission shaft 28, and the sub-transmission mechanism is configured. It is composed. A bevel gear 69 is formed at the rear end of the auxiliary transmission shaft 28, and power is transmitted to the rear wheel differential 70 via the bevel gear 69.
[0017]
As shown in FIG. 3, two gears 63 and 64 are fixed to the front end portion of the auxiliary transmission shaft 28, and the gears 63 and 64 are loosely fitted on the front wheel output shaft 29. The gears 65 and 66 are driven at different rotational speeds. Further, two hydraulic clutches 67 and 68 are provided on the front wheel output shaft 29, and any one of the hydraulic clutches 67 and 68 is connected to rotate one of the gears 65 and 66. A force can be transmitted to the front wheel output shaft 29 to constitute a front wheel acceleration switching mechanism.
[0018]
[PTO drive system]
Next, the PTO drive system will be described with reference to FIG. The rear end of the input shaft 25 is transmitted to the PTO input shaft 41 via the PTO clutch 40. Three gears 42, 43, and 44 are inserted into the rear end of the PTO input shaft 41 so as not to be relatively rotatable, and mesh with gears 46, 47, and 48 that are loosely fitted to the PTO auxiliary transmission shaft 45, respectively. The output of the PTO sub-transmission shaft 45 that has been shifted in three stages by the operation of the PTO sub-transmission clutch 49 is transmitted to the PTO shaft 53 via the gears 50, 52, and 54 to transmit the power to the working machine and the like. is doing.
[0019]
[Drive transmission configuration in each drive mode]
Next, the drive transmission configuration of the travel drive system in each of the HMT / HST drive modes in the transmission having the above configuration will be described.
[0020]
[HMT drive mode]
First, the drive transmission configuration when in the HMT drive mode will be described. In the HMT drive mode, the first hydraulic clutch 13 of the two hydraulic clutches 13 and 14 is engaged, and the second hydraulic clutch 14 is disengaged. As a result, the rotational output of the motor output shaft 26 is not transmitted to the gear 12, but only the gear 11 is rotationally driven. Since the gear 11 meshes with the gear 6 fixed to the carrier 5, the rotational output of the motor output shaft 26 is transmitted to the carrier 5 of the planetary gear device 10. On the other hand, the sun gear 1 is rotationally driven by the rotational output of the input shaft 25 connected to the engine 20. Accordingly, the planetary gear 2 supported by the carrier 5 and further meshed with the sun gear 1 is combined and transmitted to the planetary gear 2, and the combined driving force is transmitted to the planetary gear 2. The pipe shaft 7 is driven by being transmitted to the meshing output gear 3.
[0021]
Since the third clutch 19 is controlled to be engaged in the HMT drive mode, the driving force of the pipe shaft 7 is transmitted to the rear end gear 8 and the gear 16 meshed with the gear 8 is changed. Thus, the power of the pipe shaft 7 is transmitted to the drive shaft 27. The power of the drive shaft 27 is transmitted to the rear wheels and front wheels via the auxiliary transmission shaft 28, and the vehicle is driven.
[0022]
[HST drive mode]
Next, the drive transmission configuration when in the HST drive mode will be described. In the HST drive mode, the second hydraulic clutch 14 of the two hydraulic clutches 13 and 14 is engaged, and the first clutch 13 is disengaged. As a result, the rotational output of the motor output shaft 26 is not transmitted to the gear 11 and only the gear 12 is rotationally driven. Since the gear 12 is engaged with the gear 12 as described above, the rotation output of the motor output shaft 26 is transmitted to the drive shaft 27. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels and the front wheels via the auxiliary transmission shaft 28, and the vehicle is driven.
[0023]
In this HST drive mode, the power transmission configuration is such that the output of the engine 20 is not transmitted through the planetary gear mechanism 10 until the output of the engine 20 is transmitted to the front and rear wheels. That is, the engine output drives the sun gear 1 via the input shaft 25, but the planetary gear mechanism 10 is only idled by the rotation of the sun gear 1. Eventually, the engine output is shifted by the HST 21 and transmitted from the motor output shaft 26 to the drive shaft 27, and then sub-shifted and transmitted to the front and rear wheels.
[0024]
On the other hand, the gear 16 is fixed to the drive shaft 27 as described above, and the gear 8 meshing with the gear 16 is driven by the rotation of the drive shaft 27 being transmitted. However, since the third clutch 19 is controlled to be disengaged in the HST drive mode, the power of the drive shaft 27 is not transmitted to the output gear 3 via the pipe shaft 7, The idling of the output gear 3 is prevented. Accordingly, the planetary gear device 10 only rotates idly by the rotational drive of the sun gear 1, and the planetary gear mechanism 10 does not idle vigorously by combining the rotational drive of the sun gear 1 and the idle drive of the output gear 3. . Accordingly, the life of the planetary gear mechanism 10, particularly the output gear 3, the carrier 5, and the planetary gear 2 is extended, heat generation due to idling is reduced, and power transmission loss is also suppressed.
[0025]
Note that the position where the third clutch 19 is disposed is the same as that of the output gear 3 and the drive in terms of a configuration that has the effect of extending the life of the planetary gear mechanism 10 and suppressing generation of heat and power loss. The power transmission path between the shaft 27 and the shaft 27 is sufficient, and the present invention is not limited to the configuration shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 provided on the pipe shaft 7. However, in the present embodiment, the third clutch 19 is disposed at a position where the third clutch 19 is likely to become a dead space with the arrangement position of the third clutch 19 on the pipe shaft 7 provided with the output gear 3. It has a layout. This layout is excellent in that it can contribute to a compact hydraulic-mechanical continuously variable transmission.
[0026]
[Configuration for switching each drive mode]
Next, a configuration for switching each drive mode will be described. FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing a configuration for switching the drive mode. In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, a dummy gear 9 for a rotary pickup is disposed at the rear end of the motor output shaft 26, and a rotation speed detector 81 provided close to the dummy gear 9 is used. The rotational speed and direction of the motor output shaft 26 are detected. Further, a rotational speed detector 82 is provided close to the gear 15 fixed to the drive shaft 27, and the rotational speed detector 82 detects the rotational speed and rotational direction of the drive shaft 27. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, a rotation speed detector 83 is also provided on the crankshaft of the engine 20 so that the engine rotation speed can be detected.
[0027]
As shown in FIG. 4, the three rotation speed detectors 81, 82, and 83 are electrically connected to the control device 90, and the control device 90 detects the operation position of the main transmission lever 84 and the detected value of the rotation speed detector 82. Based on the above, the inclination angle of the movable swash plate 22a of the hydraulic pump 22 of the HST 21 is feedback controlled so that the vehicle speed becomes the vehicle speed indicated by the main transmission lever 84. An electromagnetic valve 91 is connected to the first hydraulic clutch 13, an electromagnetic valve 92 is connected to the second hydraulic clutch 14, and an electromagnetic valve 93 is connected to the hydraulic cylinder 94 that drives the shifter of the third clutch 19. The electromagnetic valves 91, 92, 93 are electrically connected to the control device 90. The control device 90 is provided with calculation means for calculating the transmission gear ratio from the detection values of the rotation speed detectors 82 and 83. When the obtained gear ratio is in a constant region on the high speed side, the “HMT drive mode” is provided. Thus, a signal is sent to the electromagnetic valves 91, 92 and 93, the first hydraulic clutch 13 and the third clutch 19 are engaged, and the second hydraulic clutch 14 is released. On the other hand, when the gear ratio is in a constant region on the low speed side, the “HST drive mode” is set and a signal is sent to the solenoid valves 91, 92, 93 to engage the first hydraulic clutch 13 and the third clutch 19. The second hydraulic clutch 14 is engaged by releasing. That is, two drive modes are automatically switched according to the gear ratio, such as “HMT drive mode” in the medium to high speed range and “HST drive mode” in the low speed range, and the solenoid valves 91, 92, 93 are The clutches 13, 14, and 19 are configured to be engaged and disengaged electrically.
[0028]
The three clutches 13, 14, and 19 need only be configured so that power can be connected and disconnected, and each is not limited to a hydraulic clutch, and various types of clutches such as an electromagnetic type and a gear engagement type may be used. Can do. However, since all the three clutches in this embodiment are configured to perform engagement / disengagement operations through supply and discharge of pressure oil, control can be performed by appropriately configuring the hydraulic circuit. The configuration can be simplified. That is, in addition to the configuration in which the clutches 13, 14, and 19 are connected to the electromagnetic valves 91, 92, and 93 as shown in FIG. That is, although not shown, the hydraulic cylinder 94 of the first clutch 13, the second clutch 14, and the third clutch 19 is connected to a single hydraulic circuit, and a single solenoid valve is connected to the hydraulic circuit. If the clutches 13, 14, and 19 are switched at the same timing by switching the solenoid valve, only one solenoid valve is required. The control program can be simplified, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
[0029]
【The invention's effect】
Since the present invention is configured as described above, the following effects can be obtained.
As shown in claim 1, the power from the engine (20) is used as a hydraulic pump (22) as an input part of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission (21) and the sun gear as a first element of the planetary gear mechanism (10). A hydraulic motor (23) which is an output part of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission (21), and a carrier (5) which is a second element of the planetary gear mechanism (10). The first clutch (13) that is engaged in the “HMT drive mode” is disposed between the hydraulic motor (23) that is an output portion of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission (21), and the hydraulic pressure A second clutch (14) that is engaged in the “HST drive mode” is disposed between the drive shaft (27) and the drive shaft (27) disposed on the power downstream side of the motor (23). And the output gear (3) as the third element of the planetary gear mechanism (10) A third clutch (19) interposed, in said "HST drive mode", when linked by the hydraulic motor (23) and the drive shaft (27) and said second clutch (14), said Since the three clutches (19) are disengaged and the power from the drive shaft (27) is prevented from flowing back to the planetary gear mechanism (10), the "HST drive mode" is set. Sometimes, the power from the drive shaft to the third element can be cut off to avoid idle rotation of the third element.
Further, the idle rotation of the second element accompanying this can be suppressed.
As a result, since wear and deterioration due to idle rotation of the second and third elements can be suppressed, it is not necessary to use high-cost parts that can withstand the wear, and thus manufacturing costs can be reduced.
Furthermore, generation of heat due to idle rotation of the planetary gear mechanism can be suppressed, and power loss can also be suppressed.
[0030]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the hydraulic-mechanical continuously variable transmission according to the first aspect, the third clutch is provided on the shaft to which the output gear as the third element is attached. In addition to the effects shown, the layout is such that the third clutch is disposed on the shaft on which the third element that is likely to become a dead space is attached, so that the space can be effectively used, and the hydraulic-mechanical continuously variable This can contribute to a compact transmission.
[0031]
As shown in claim 3, in the hydraulic-mechanical continuously variable transmission according to claim 1 or 2, the first clutch, the second clutch, and the third clutch are all pressurized oil. Since the engagement and disengagement operations are performed through the supply and discharge of the three, the three clutches can be controlled via the hydraulic circuit, and the control configuration can be simplified.
