【0009】
図3は、上記文献および本発明において前提としている伝送方式のパイロット信号配置を示す模式図であり、欧州の地上デジタル放送方式であるDVB−T(Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial)方式や、日本の地上デジタル放送方式であるISDB−T(Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting - Terrestrial)方式が、これに該当する。
【0010】
【0015】
図4において、x(t)は親局信号、r(t)は受信部2の入力信号、s(t)は送信部4の入力信号、W_in(ω)は受信部2の伝達関数、W_out(ω)は送信部4の伝達関数、W_loop(ω)は回り込み伝送路6の伝達関数、W_fir(ω)は回り込みキャンセラ3a(3b、3c)内部のFIR(Finite Impulse Response:有限インパルス応答)フィルタ32の伝達関数をそれぞれ表す。
【0016】

【0073】
図1において、x(t)は親局信号、r(t)は受信部2の入力信号、s(t)は送信部4の入力信号、W_in(ω)は受信部2の伝達関数、W_out(ω)は送信部4の伝達関数、W_loop(ω)は回り込み伝送路6の伝達関数、W_fir(ω)は回り込みキャンセラ3d内部のFIR(Finite Impulse Response:有限インパルス応答)フィルタ32の伝達関数をそれぞれ表す。
【0074】
【0115】
インパルス応答、すなわちIFFT回路33522の出力f_win(t)は、時間領域においてサンプリングされたものであり、時間領域でのサンプリングのインデックスをi(iは0≦i≦M-1を満たす整数、ただしMはIFFT回路33522におけるIFFTのサイズ)として、f_win(t)=f_win(i)と表わすことができる。
【0116】
【0123】
同様に、(29)式のようにf_win(i_max+1)の絶対値とf_win(i_max)の絶対値との比をr_rightとする。
【0124】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is installed in a relay broadcasting station that realizes a broadcast wave relay SFN (Single Frequency Network) in terrestrial digital broadcasting, and a transmission path estimated from an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) signal The present invention relates to a sneak canceller that cancels sneaking using characteristics, and more particularly, to a sneak canceller that corrects phase rotation of a frequency characteristic caused by a time error in FFT with high accuracy and realizes high canceling performance.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The OFDM transmission method is a method in which a large number of carriers orthogonal to each other are modulated by digital data to be transmitted, and these modulated waves are multiplexed and transmitted. In the OFDM transmission system, if the number of carriers used is increased from several hundred to several thousand, the symbol time becomes extremely long, and a copy of the signal after the effective symbol period is added as a guard period signal before the effective symbol period. By doing so, it has a feature that it is hardly affected by the delayed wave.
[0003]
Because of this feature, there is a possibility that a single-frequency broadcast network, that is, an SFN can be constructed. Therefore, the OFDM transmission method is attracting attention as a transmission method for digital terrestrial broadcasting.
[0004]
As a method for realizing SFN, it is technically easy to transmit a signal to each relay broadcasting station using a line different from a broadcast wave such as an optical fiber or a microwave and transmit the signal at the same frequency. However, in the method using the optical fiber, the line cost becomes a problem, and in the method using the microwave, it is necessary to secure a new frequency resource.
[0005]
Therefore, realization of SFN by broadcast wave relay which is advantageous in terms of cost and does not require new frequency resources is desired.
[0006]
However, in realizing the broadcast wave relay SFN, there is a concern that the radio wave emitted from the transmission antenna may circulate to the reception antenna, causing problems such as degradation of relay signal quality and oscillation of the amplifier.
[0007]
As measures against sneaking in broadcast wave relay SFN,
(1) Separate the transmitting and receiving antennas and reduce the wraparound by using shielding by mountains and buildings,
(2) Reduce the wraparound by improving the directivity characteristics of the transmitting and receiving antennas.
(3) The wraparound is canceled by signal processing technology.
However, the conditions of mountains and buildings are various, and it is not possible to expect sufficient suppression of wraparound only by measures by improving the antenna directivity, so in addition to (1) and (2), (3 It is effective to use a wraparound canceller using the signal processing technique (1).
[0008]
As such a signal processing technique, the frequency characteristic of the sneak transmission path is estimated from the received OFDM signal, and the frequency characteristic data of the estimated sneaking transmission path is subjected to IFFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) to obtain a time axis. Is a method that creates a wraparound duplicate signal by converting the impulse response data into a transversal filter as a filter coefficient and cancels the wraparound by subtracting the duplicate signal from the received signal. It has been devised. (For example, see
The prior art will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing the pilot signal arrangement of the transmission scheme assumed in the above-mentioned document and the present invention. The digital video broadcasting-terrestrial (DVB-T) scheme, which is a European terrestrial digital broadcasting scheme, and the Japanese terrestrial broadcasting scheme. The ISDB-T (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial) system, which is a digital broadcasting system, corresponds to this.
[0010]
The white circles in FIG. 3 are data carriers, and the black circles are pilot carriers (SP (Scattered Pilot)) arranged in a distributed manner.
[0011]
In FIG. 3, k on the horizontal axis (frequency axis) represents a carrier index, and n on the vertical axis (time axis) represents a symbol index. At this time, the SP signal is transmitted using a carrier with an index k = kp that satisfies the following equation (3). (However, mod in the expression represents a remainder operation, and p is a non-negative integer.)
[0012]
[Equation 3]
The SP signal is modulated based on a pseudo-random code sequence, and its amplitude and phase are determined only by the index k of the arranged carrier, and do not depend on the symbol index n.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The phase rotation caused by the time error in the FFT causes an error when calculating the frequency characteristic of the wraparound transmission path, and therefore it is desirable that the phase rotation be corrected with as high accuracy as possible.
[0058]
However, in the
[0059]
In the
[0060]
As described above, in the conventional wraparound canceller as described above, the phase rotation of the frequency characteristic caused by the time error in the FFT cannot be corrected with high accuracy, and the cancellation performance is deteriorated.
[0061]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and solves the above-described problem, corrects the phase rotation of the frequency characteristics caused by the time error in the FFT with high accuracy, and realizes high cancellation performance. The purpose is to provide.
[0062]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the wraparound canceller according to the present invention is configured as follows.
[0063]
The sneak canceller of the present invention is a sneak canceller that removes a sneak between transmitting and receiving antennas that occurs when a received signal is retransmitted at the same frequency, and a subtracter that subtracts a duplicate of a sneak signal from an input signal; Filter means for generating a replica of the sneak signal by filtering the output of the filter, and a filter coefficient for estimating a sneak path characteristic from the output of the subtractor and generating a coefficient of the filter means The filter coefficient generation unit converts the output of the subtractor, which is a time domain signal, into a frequency domain signal by FFT (Fast Fourier Transform). A transmission path characteristic estimation unit that estimates a transmission path characteristic observed at the output of the subtractor, and a delay caused by a time error in the FFT. A time error correction unit that corrects the phase rotation of the transmission line characteristic, a residual calculation unit that calculates a cancellation residual from the output of the time error correction unit, and an output of the residual calculation unit as a signal in a time domain A first IFFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) means for converting into a first IFFT means, and a coefficient updating means for generating a coefficient of the filter means from the output of the first IFFT means, The time error correction unit includes a windowing unit that multiplies an output of the transmission path characteristic estimation unit by a predetermined window function, a second IFFT unit that converts an output of the windowing unit into a signal in a time domain, A time error estimating means for estimating a time error in the FFT from outputs of the second IFFT means, and a phase rotation correcting means for correcting the output of the transmission line characteristic estimating section based on the output of the time error estimating means A configuration having a.
[0064]
The wraparound canceller of the present invention has the above-described configuration, and the output f_win (i) of the second IFFT means (i is an integer satisfying 0 ≦ i ≦ M−1, where M is the size of IFFT in the IFFT means). The index of the largest one is i_max, and the ratio of the absolute value of f_win (i_max-1) to the absolute value of f_win (i_max) is r_left, the absolute value of f_win (i_max + 1) and f_win (i_max ) Is set to r_right, and the time error estimation means adopts a configuration for estimating the time error in the FFT from at least one of r_left and r_right.
[0065]
In the wraparound canceller of the present invention, in the above configuration, when the absolute value of f_win (i_max-1) is larger than the absolute value of f_win (i_max + 1), the time error estimation unit calculates an estimated value from r_left. If the absolute value of f_win (i_max-1) is smaller than the absolute value of f_win (i_max + 1), the estimated value from r_right is used as the estimated time error value in the FFT. A configuration for an estimated value is adopted.
[0066]
The wraparound canceller of the present invention employs a configuration in which, in the above configuration, the time error estimation means uses an average value of an estimated value from r_left and an estimated value from r_right as an estimated value of time error in the FFT.
[0067]
In the wraparound canceller of the present invention, in the above configuration, the window function by which the windowing unit multiplies the output of the transmission path characteristic estimation unit is a Hanning window function, and the time error estimation unit is an estimated value from r_left. A configuration is adopted in which τ′_left is calculated based on equation (1) and an estimated value τ′_right from r_right is calculated based on equation (2).
[0068]
According to these configurations, it is possible to correct the phase rotation of the frequency characteristic caused by the time error in the FFT with high accuracy and to realize high wraparound cancellation performance.
[0069]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The essence of the present invention is that the filter coefficient generator calculates the frequency characteristics of the transmission path by performing FFT on the output of the subtractor, and then corrects the phase rotation of the frequency characteristics caused by the time error in the FFT. By calculating the cancellation residual from the transmission path characteristic and updating the coefficient of the FIR filter based on the IFFT result, the phase rotation of the frequency characteristic caused by the time error in the FFT is corrected with high accuracy. is there.

[0111]
The output F (ω) of the transmission path characteristic estimation unit 331 is sampled at the OFDM carrier interval in the frequency domain, and the sampling index in the frequency domain is k (k satisfies 0 ≦ k ≦ N−1). An integer (where N is the size of the FFT in the FFT circuit 3311) can be expressed as F (ω) = F (k).
[0112]
Here, considering a situation in which there is no wraparound or the like, assuming that the time error in FFT is τ, F (k) is expressed by equation (20).
[0113]

On the other hand, the Hanning window function W_win (k) is expressed by equation (21).

Here, the index of the largest f_win (i) is i_max, and the ratio of the absolute value of f_win (i_max-1) to the absolute value of f_win (i_max) is r_left, (22) When calculating using the formula, formula (25) is obtained.

[Expression 25]
Here, if the FFT size N is sufficiently large, the approximation of the equation (26) can be used.
[0121]
[Equation 26]
Substituting this into equation (25) yields equation (27).
[0122]
[Expression 27]
Solving this with respect to τ, equation (28) is obtained, and an estimated time error value τ′_left is obtained.
[0123]
[Expression 28]
Similarly, let r_right be the ratio between the absolute value of f_win (i_max + 1) and the absolute value of f_win (i_max) as shown in equation (29).
[0124]
[Expression 29]
Thereby, the estimated value τ′_right of the time error is obtained from the equation (30).
[0125]
[30]
Here, when the absolute value of f_win (i_max-1) is larger than the absolute value of f_win (i_max + 1), τ′_left in equation (28) is adopted as the estimated value τ ′, and conversely, f_win ( When the absolute value of i_max-1) is smaller than the absolute value of f_win (i_max + 1), by using τ'_right in equation (30) as the estimated value τ ', an estimation error due to disturbance such as noise Can be suppressed.
[0126]
Further, by adopting an average value of τ′_left in Expression (28) and τ′_right in Expression (30) as the estimated value τ ′, it is possible to suppress an estimation error due to disturbance such as noise.

In the above description, considering the situation where no wraparound exists, F (k) is expressed by equation (20). However, when wraparound exists, D in equation (20) is no longer a constant, and impulse response f_win ( There are multiple local maxima in i). However, in this case as well, if the largest index among a plurality of maximum values is i_max, the time error can be estimated by the above calculation.
[0129]
As described above, according to the wraparound canceller of the present embodiment, it is possible to accurately correct the phase rotation of the frequency characteristic caused by the time error in the FFT.

Further, in the embodiment of the present invention, the transmission method including pilot carriers distributed in the signal band has been described as an example, but by appropriately changing the internal processing of the transmission path characteristic estimation unit 331, The present invention can also be applied to other types of transmission schemes such as a transmission scheme in which pilot symbols whose amplitudes and phases of all carriers are known exist.
[0132]
In the embodiment of the present invention, the transmission path characteristic F (k) processed by the time error correction unit 335d has been described as being sampled at the OFDM carrier interval in the frequency domain. The same principle can be applied to thinned-out intervals, 6-carrier intervals, 12-carrier intervals, and the like.

Although not shown in the figure, an AD (Analog to Digital) converter and a DA (Digital to Analog) converter for digital signal processing used in the wraparound canceller are inserted. The position is not related to the principle of the present invention, and it goes without saying that the same principle can be applied regardless of the insertion position of the AD converter and the DA converter.

Finally, in the embodiment of the present invention, each component has been described as realizing a specific function as individual hardware, but such an implementation method is not related to the principle of the present invention. Needless to say, some or all of the components of the present invention may be embodied as software executed on general-purpose hardware such as a DSP (Digital Signal Processor).
