Description

Claims (4)
- 基地局制御装置および複数の基地局を備えた無線通信システムにおいて、
ページング繰返し数を指定するページング命令を複数の基地局において基地局制御装置から受取り、
命令を受取った複数の基地局からそのページング繰返し数だけクイックページングメッセージをそのページング命令のターゲットの受信装置に送信し、
前記複数の基地局のローディング状態を決定し、
前記ローディング状態により、前記複数の基地局のいずれか1つからページング繰返し数の回数の範囲内でターゲットの受信装置にページングメッセージを送信するステップを含んでいる方法。 - ターゲットの受信装置はソフトハンドオフ中である請求項1記載の方法。
- 基地局制御装置および複数の基地局を備えた無線通信システムにおいて、
ページング繰返し数を指定するページング命令を複数の基地局において基地局制御装置から受取る手段と、
命令を受取った複数の基地局からそのページング繰返し数だけクイックページングメッセージをそのページング命令のターゲットの受信装置に送信する手段と、
前記複数の基地局のローディング状態を決定する手段と、
前記ローディング状態により、前記複数の基地局のいずれか1つからページング繰返し数の回数の範囲内でターゲットの受信装置にページングメッセージを送信する手段とを具備している基地局。 - 移動局に対するページングメッセージを複数の基地局の少なくとも2つに送信するように動作する基地局制御装置と、複数の基地局とを備えている無線通信システムにおいて、
基地局制御装置からページング繰返し数を複数の基地局の少なくとも2つに送信し、
その複数の基地局の少なくとも2つが前記ページング繰返し数だけ時間間隔をおいてクイックページングメッセージを移動局に送信し、
その複数の基地局の少なくとも2つがローディング状態を決定し、
前記ローディング状態により、その複数の基地局の少なくとも2つの第1のものが、 1 回目のクイックページングメッセージより後の第1の時間期間中にページングメッセージを移動局に送信し、
前記ローディング状態により、その複数の基地局の少なくとも2つの第2のものが、2回目のクイックページングメッセージより後の第2の時間期間中にページングメッセージを移動局に送信するステップを含んでいる方法。
