Description
【0001】

【0301】
なお、図13の(A)は図1のA−A断面図であり、(B)は図1のB−B断面図であり、(C)は図1のC−C断面図である。
【0302】
【0304】
なお、図14の(A)は図3のA−A断面図であり、(B)は図3のB−B断面図であり、(C)は図3のC−C断面図である。
【0305】

【0351】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire that can prevent an increase in uneven wear and deterioration of pattern noise and improve drainage.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a pneumatic tire is provided with a circumferential groove (main groove) extending in the tire circumferential direction and a lateral groove (lag groove) extending in the tire axial direction (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 3). .
[0003]
Here, a method of increasing the groove area (negative) by, for example, widening the groove width can be considered in order to improve the wet high-predability.
[0004]
However, widening the groove width generally improves drainage, but simply increasing the groove width decreases the block rigidity and increases uneven wear, or increases the volume of air in the groove, and pattern noise worsens. There is.
[0005]
In addition, it is common to ensure drainage in the tire circumferential direction by the circumferential groove and to ensure drainage in the tire axial direction by the lateral groove, but by providing this lateral groove, continuous smooth grounding is impaired, There is a problem that becomes a source of pattern noise.
[0006]
On the other hand, in a row of blocks in which notched grooves such as sipe are formed, not only the wet drainage performance is lowered, but also grip on a road with a low friction coefficient (low μ road) and a block rigidity that is too high are causes. There is a problem that causes a deterioration in ride comfort.
[0007]
In addition, noise can be reduced by stopping the lateral groove without opening it in the circumferential groove, but this causes a problem that wet drainage performance deteriorates.
[0008]
Furthermore, raising at least a part of the lateral grooves can increase block rigidity and suppress uneven wear, and the air volume in the grooves can be reduced and noise can be reduced. In particular, there is a problem that wet drainage after wear of the block is remarkably deteriorated.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In view of the above facts, an object of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire that can prevent an increase in uneven wear and deterioration of pattern noise and improve drainage.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The pneumatic tire according to claim 1, wherein the tread includes a plurality of land portions extending in the tire circumferential direction defined by a plurality of circumferential grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction, and the pneumatic tire includes at least one land. A plurality of transverse grooves crossing the land portion having a wide width portion having a wide groove width and a narrow width slit portion having a narrower groove width than the wide width portion, and stepping on the narrow width slit portion A chamfer is formed on the edge of one of the treads on either the side or the kicking side.
[0014]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire according to claim 1 will be described.
[0015]
In the pneumatic tire according to the first aspect, a plurality of circumferential grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction are formed in the tread, and basic wet drainage is ensured.
[0016]
The land section partitioned by the circumferential groove is reduced in circumferential rigidity by forming a plurality of transverse grooves crossing the land section, and improves the ground contact property by dispersion of the contact pressure distribution, and the wet road surface by the edge effect. The friction coefficient is improved.
[0017]
The wet drainage is improved by the wide part of the transverse groove provided in the land part.
[0018]
In addition, since the transverse grooves are partly narrow slits, the groove volume is reduced compared to the case of all wide grooves.
A little road noise can be reduced.
[0019]
Since the chamfering is formed on the edge of one of the stepping side and the kicking side of the narrow slit portion of the transverse groove, the rigidity of the small land portion defined by the transverse groove is improved, and the ground contact property is improved.
[0020]
Further, since the chamfered portion does not contact the road surface, drainage can be performed in a gap formed between the chamfered portion and the road surface, and wet drainage is improved.
[0021]
Even if the chamfered portion is formed, the groove volume hardly increases, so the pattern noise does not deteriorate.
[0022]
Therefore, in the pneumatic tire according to claim 1, noise is not generated and drainage performance is improved as compared with the case where the transverse groove has the wide width portion and the narrow width slit portion but does not have the chamfer at the edge. To do.
[0023]
In addition, the pneumatic tire according to claim 1 has a wide portion having a large groove volume as compared with a tire in which only a narrow transverse groove is formed in the land portion and the entire edge is chamfered. Therefore, drainage performance is improved.
[0024]
When a plurality of transverse grooves are formed in the shoulder-side land portion, the land portion is divided into a plurality of small blocks by the plurality of transverse grooves.
[0025]
As conventionally known, the shoulder block has a problem in that a heel-and-toe wear is likely to occur due to a dragged state of the block due to a tire diameter difference from the center portion.
[0026]
Heel and toe wear occurs when one of the stepping side and the kicking side is scraped more by the road surface than the circumferential direction input during rotation of the block, and the other escapes from the road surface and remains. Therefore, when heel-and-toe wear occurs, the block height of either one of the stepping-side end portion or the kicking-side end portion is extremely lower than either one.
[0027]
Here, as in the present invention, when chamfering is formed at the edge of one of the stepping side and kicking side of the narrow slit portion, when there is chamfering on the side to be cut, the portion to be cut is originally cut. There is no heel and toe wear.
[0028]
On the other hand, if there is chamfering on the remaining side, even if the wear on the side to be cut progresses to some extent, both the stepping side and the kicking side of the land will be cut off, so the heel and toe Wear is relieved.
[0029]
When the tread pattern is a non-directional pattern, the direction of circumferential input to the block shape is different on the left and right of the tread, so the degree of heel and toe wear differs between the chamfered side and the non-chamfered side, Since it has an effect on both sides of the kick-out, the heel and toe wear is suppressed as a whole tread, and the deterioration of the pattern noise is suppressed.
[0030]
Here, if chamfering is formed on the tread edge on both the stepping side and the kicking side of the narrow slit portion, heel and toe wear is good, but the rigidity of the block end increases more than necessary. The impact at the time of block grounding becomes high and the pattern noise gets worse.
[0031]
In general, the pressure at the block edge is increased by moving away from the kicking block edge adjacent in the circumferential direction. Therefore, chamfering both sides of the narrow slit portion apparently widens the groove width, and even if the groove volume is small due to double-sided chamfering, the impact component becomes large and noise worsens.
[0032]
As described above, according to the pneumatic tire of the first aspect, an increase in uneven wear and deterioration of pattern noise can be prevented, and drainage performance can be improved.
[0033]
The invention according to
[0034]
Next, the operation of the pneumatic tire according to
[0035]
When the narrow slit portion is directly under the load facing the road surface, the mutually opposite groove wall surfaces of the narrow slit portion contact each other.
[0036]
By this contact, the rigidity of the land portion partitioned in the tire circumferential direction by the narrow slit portion is secured, the actual contact area of the tread surface of the block is secured, and the braking performance is improved.
[0037]
Further, the contact makes the land portion a smooth continuous contact with the road surface, so that the impact component is reduced and the pattern noise is reduced.
[0038]
The invention according to
[0039]
Next, the operation of the pneumatic tire according to
[0040]
When the slit width of the narrow slit portion is less than 0.7 mm, the ride comfort is deteriorated due to the adverse effect of the hardness of the tread, and the edge effect may be insufficient.
[0041]
On the other hand, when the slit width of the narrow slit portion exceeds 1.2 mm, the impact component is not sufficiently reduced.
[0042]
Accordingly, the slit width of the narrow slit portion is preferably 0.7 mm or greater and 1.2 mm or less.
[0043]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the pneumatic tire according to any one of the first to third aspects, the chamfer width of the edge is not less than 2 times and 7 times the slit width of the narrow slit portion. It is characterized by the following.
[0044]
Next, the operation of the pneumatic tire according to
[0045]
If the edge chamfering width is less than twice the slit width of the narrow slit portion, drainage at the chamfered portion cannot be obtained, and block rigidity and grounding properties cannot be improved.
[0046]
On the other hand, if the edge chamfering width exceeds seven times the slit width of the narrow slit portion, the pattern noise deteriorates.
[0047]
The invention according to claim 5 is the pneumatic tire according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the chamfering depth of the edge in the slit depth direction is the groove depth of the circumferential groove. It is characterized by being 10% or more and 30% or less.
[0048]
Next, the operation of the pneumatic tire according to claim 5 will be described.
[0049]
When the chamfering depth is less than 10% of the groove depth of the circumferential groove, the drainage performance at the chamfered portion cannot be obtained, and the block rigidity and the ground contact cannot be improved.
[0050]
On the other hand, when the chamfering depth exceeds 30% of the groove depth of the circumferential groove, the pattern noise is deteriorated.
[0051]
The chamfering depth is preferably 1 to 2 mm in actual dimensions.
[0052]
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the pneumatic tire according to any one of the first to fifth aspects, the chamfering angle of the chamfer is not less than 10 degrees and not more than 45 degrees with respect to the tread surface. It is characterized by.
[0053]
Next, the operation of the pneumatic tire according to claim 6 will be described.
[0054]
If the chamfering angle is less than 10 degrees with respect to the tread surface, drainage at the chamfered portion cannot be obtained, and block rigidity and ground contact cannot be improved.
[0055]
If the chamfer angle exceeds 45 degrees with respect to the tread surface, the pattern noise will deteriorate.
[0056]
The invention according to claim 7 is the pneumatic tire according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the wide portion and the narrow slit portion have an angle in a tread plan view. It is characterized by being connected continuously.
[0057]
Next, the operation of the pneumatic tire according to claim 7 will be described.
[0058]
When the wide part and the narrow slit part are continuously connected with an angle in a tread plan view, the action of the present invention such as drainage action is not impaired,
Further, since the transverse groove is bent, anisotropy of the block rigidity can be suppressed.
[0059]
According to an eighth aspect of the present invention, in the pneumatic tire according to any one of the first to seventh aspects, a hollow projecting toward the chamfered side forming side of the edge in the vicinity of the bottom of the narrow slit portion. It is characterized by providing a section.
[0060]
Next, the operation of the pneumatic tire according to
[0061]
In the pneumatic tire according to the eighth aspect, since the hollow portion is provided in the vicinity of the bottom portion of the narrow slit portion, the groove cross-sectional area is increased and drainage performance is improved.
[0062]
In particular, since the hollow portion appears on the surface of the tire after the middle wear phase of the land portion, it is possible to suppress a decrease in drainage performance in the late wear phase.
[0063]
Since the hollow portion is provided in the vicinity of the bottom of the narrow slit portion, an increase in air volume in the narrow slit portion due to the provision of the hollow portion can be suppressed as much as possible, and deterioration of pattern noise can be prevented as much as possible.
[0064]
In addition, the provision of the hollow portion reduces the rigidity of the land portion on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the hollow portion, and there is a concern about the increase (progress) of uneven wear due to the decrease in the rigidity, but chamfering is formed in the land portion. As a result, contact between the chamfered portion and the road surface is avoided, so that an increase in uneven wear is suppressed.
[0065]
Moreover, since the hollow part formed in the narrow slit part is not obstruct | occluded also at the time of earthing | grounding, the problem which drainage property deteriorates does not arise.
[0066]
The chamfered width of the edge means a width (shortest width) measured substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the slit.
[0067]
The slit width of the slit means a width (shortest width) measured substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the slit.

Here, the wet high pre performance (straight line) is a feeling evaluation of the high pre generation limit speed when passing through a wet road having a water depth of 5 mm.
[0321]
The wet brake performance means a braking distance when full braking is performed from a traveling state at a speed of 80 km / h on a straight road surface having a water depth of 2 mm.
[0322]
The dry maneuvering stability test is a feeling evaluation of a test driver when driving in a dry circuit course in various driving modes.
[0323]
Furthermore, pattern noise is a feeling evaluation of in-vehicle sound when a straight smooth road is coasted from 100 km / h.
[0324]
The results of this test are shown in Table 4 below.
